Holy Akashic Conqueror 192 Awaken, Akaitsuki!

As Lucien entered the underground cave, he used his senses to find his first target, lifeform with energy signature at the Yuanying Realm, Type 10 Divine Warrior. He was using his top speed as he wanted to dispose of them as soon as possible, so he could enjoy some time of leisure.

The entire underground was very dark, but thanks to his Celestial Reflexes he was able to easily see in such a dark environment. Soon enough, he felt some lizard mutated beasts on the level of Type 7 to Type 9 Divine Warriors, lurking around here.

'So my first target would be some kind of mutated lizard that reached Type 10...' Thought Lucien in his head, as he was using his Ice energy to freeze little lizards to death. Right now he felt, that his comprehension towards the Dao of Ice was becoming deeper and deeper as he was using it for a long time without any pause. Even though his Ice Immortal Path was only at the Initial-Phase Xiantian, Lucien was mixing there bits of the Destruction Energy, not to increase damage but rather to increase the potency of the Ice energy.

Every time he froze or killed some mutated lizards, he always kept their Nuclei in his Cross-Crest spatial storage treasure. Compared to the Spatial Rings or other types of spatial treasures, the Cross-Crest was special. It was directly tied to his soul and contained s.p.a.ce on the level of some medium-sized Immortal Realm, which was a very very rare thing.

Lucien then stood before the huge stone, behind which was a huge lizard. The lizard was at least thirty meters in length and ten meters high. Even though it was sleeping it was radiating an enormous amount of energy.

'Lucky.' Thought he as he called out his dual Zanpakutō katanas, and coated them in the Destruction energy before performing Flying Dragon Slash, aiming straightly at the sleeping Type 10 mutated lizard. Poor thing didn't even know what was coming, as Lucien was suing his Void energy and his comprehension of the Dao of Void to hide himself and his attack, making it a perfect ambush.

After the Type 10 mutated lizard fell dead, he immediately took its body and pulled it into Blood-Essence Sacred Refining Furnace, and he even dropped there several tens of mutated beast Nuclei he collected along the way. As he was right now in a relatively safe environment, he decided to refine the corpses collected and increase his RC Level, hopefully breaking through to the Early-Phase Marquise-Rank in the Sacred Body Refining System, as it would increase his combat abilities by a huge margin.

Soon the corpse and mutated beast Nuclei were refined into a single blood-essence pill, that was radiating with a huge amount of energy. Lucien directly took the blood-essence pill and swallowed it in one go. He felt a warm feeling in his body, spreading through his every cell, as he felt that his RC Level was increasing at frightening speed, soon reaching over 2 million, finally becoming Early-Phase Marquise-Rank.

"Also, what to do with this thing?" Muttered Lucien as he was holding the Indestructible Soul of the mutated lizard. In the G.o.d-Devil Plane of the Divine Warrior Cultivation System, upon reaching Type 10, all lifeforms that reached this realm were able to form Indestructible Soul, which remained even if their body is destroyed. Right now Lucien was holding in his hand's soul of Type 10 mutated lizard.

As he was rocking his head over this issue, he felt that his twin Zanpakutō katanas were itching when they were near the soul. So he took the Soul closer to the Zanpakutō katanas and was shocked at the sight. Both katanas ferociously started tearing apart the Indestructible Soul and devouring it like nothing. Soon, after several seconds they were finished and started making an imaginary crying sound, apparently wanting even more. So he took out, the Soul of that Type 10 disciple of Holy Martial Sect he killed not long ago and fed it to the Zanpakutō katanas.

This time, it took one minute for them to devour completely the soul. Lucien was delighted seeing this, as he had a way to completely dispose of souls of killed enemies, and he even felt that these twin katanas had become stronger. As he wanted to recall them, both of them started radiating fierce crimson light, that was radiating the entire area where Lucien was, and also releasing an unbearable amount of spiritual pressure, to which even Lucien had to resist with all of his strength.

"Akaitsuki!"

"Awaken the Akaitsuki!"

After the last sentence was said, a huge explosion occurred and destroyed everything at sight, an entire part of the underground was in ruins, and right now it wasn't even underground as the light of the local sun was reaching here.

Lucien stared at the Zanpakutō katanas, he knew that his dual Zanpakutō katanas, awakened their names, and now they could display far more terrifying combat power. Currently, his Zanpakutō katanas were comparable to the Earth artifact of Supreme-Quality.

"Hi there... are you awake?" Asked Lucien with a quiet voice.

"Yes." "Here we are, master." Said two voices at the same time.

"Our name is..." "Akaitsuki"

"Crimson Moon." Muttered Lucien.

"I can see that you are comparable to the Earth-grade treasure of Supreme-Quality. How would I be able to advance it?" Right now, this was Lucien's most important question, how to advance grade of his Zanpakutō katanas.

"Souls, as Zanpakutō we feed on souls." "If you feed us with souls..." "We would be able to advance fast..." "And become pretty strong..." "Master." They were completing each other sentences perfectly, though it seemed a bit creepy.

"Then I will find you a lot of souls. What about my other Zanpakutō?" Right now Lucien awakened only one of his Zanpakutō, the second one was still dormant. Tsuinkurimuzonsureiyāzu were twins, and Lucien also had one more Zanpakutō.
