Beast God 50 Hanging Ou

Ben and the others viscously attacked the zombies. Ben danced through the zombies, his two swords slas.h.i.+ng through effortlessly. Arcs of lightning struck nearby zombies, sending them flying. Adam and Alex each wielded a long sword, they stood next to each other and mowed down zombies, their moves so interlinked that even Ben with his Mekata eyes had a hard time keeping up with their swords.

Chuck was bare handed but sent spatial spells that cut straight through 2 or 3 zombies at a time. When the zombies got too close for comfort he would teleport away safely and repeat the process. Lola was incredibly fast, a flash of lightning and a zombies head would fall to the ground, she would be gone before the head hit the ground.

James seemed to float through the air, light as a feather as he cut through zombies quickly and efficiently.

Together they slaughtered most of the normal zombies quickly. Soon Ben was confronted with 5 mutated zombies. These were not the same as the ones he faced yesterday, they were the weaker kind but still a threat.

Looking around, Ben noticed that everyone seemed to have been faced with a mutated zombie, some with multiple.

"You five will help me test something." Ben smiled coldly.

A pair a black wings sprouted from Ben's back. His skin was slowly covered in beautiful blue scales and a tail around 3m long came out from above his a.s.s.

"Okay let's do this." Ben said as his eyes shone with golden light.

Ben quickly flew into the air and dove at the zombies, swords slas.h.i.+ng through their heads. Ben landed back on the ground and continued to attack, this time he slammed a zombie down with his tail crus.h.i.+ng him.

His tempo quickened as he adjusted to his new form. Ben was using his tail and wings better as the battle progressed. Cutting down the last mutated zombie, Ben was breathing heavy as he looked around at the others battles.

They were mostly finished up, only Chuck was still fighting. He was facing a powerful mutant zombie and his spells couldn't heavily injure it. Ben flew over quickly and slayed it.

"Thanks." Chuck said as his face was covered in perspiration.

"No problem. Regroup with the others, we need to go." Ben told him before flying into the air.

Ben flew over the flames and saw Takon on the ground slaughtering zombies with his tail and jaws. Ava was hovering above them, sending fire attacks and covering Takon's back.

"Finish it up we gotta go!" Ben yelled at them, pointing behind them. A huge ma.s.s of zombies was heading their way quickly and at the back was the king. Like last time he had mutant zombies surrounding him but this time they were riding large beasts that looked like hairless deformed bears.

Ava saw this and sent a powerful fire attack, covering the ground with her black flames.

Takon quickly took to the air to avoid her flames and sent down some of his own white flames. Together they left the scene and went back to the other group.

Everyone was waiting for Ben and his soul beasts to return. Upon landing, everyone looked at Ben in shock. He was still in his battle form, with blue scales, black wings and even a long tail! Ben quickly deactivated his skill, leaving only the wings.

James started laughing. "What?" Ben asked confused.

"Your a.s.s is hanging out." James laughed as he pointed to Ben's behind.

Ben found his pants were ripped due to the tail and his bare a.s.s was out for the world to see. The rest of them let out a small smile while Lola just looked away.

"Looks like your walking home." Ben glared at him.

Ben told Lola and Chuck to jump on Ava's back while the twins got on Takon's.

"Oh come on!" James cried as he watch them take off, leaving him.

Takon suddenly turned around and scooped up James in his talons.

"This is bulls.h.i.+t!" James yelled, his voice washed away by the wind.

Some time later they landed in a small meadow that had a tiny lake. Takon dropped James in the lake before he landed, letting the twins jump off. Ben stopped because Ava and Takon were tired of carrying people, not use to the weight.

Ben started a fire and took out some beasts he had in his storage.

James walked out of the lake, dripping wet. He mumbled something under his breath as he glared at Ben and Takon.

Ben took out 6 more beast corpses from his storage and gave them to Ava and Takon to eat.

"Rest and eat up. We leave in a couple of hours." Ben told the group as he closed his eyes for a quick nap.

The rest of them stared at him strangely. James walked up and started skinning the beast that Ben left out. Seeing that they hadn't moved or said anything, James said, "What? If your hungry start cooking and if your tired take a nap. I want to be back in the city by tonight."

Opening his eyes, Ben stretched out his aching limbs. These last couple of days were filled with constant battles, some of them life and death.

The others were still awake, a small fire was still going with bones surrounding it. They all watched him as he walked up to the group.

"Is it true what James told us?" Alex said as he sat down.

"Depends what he told you." Ben raised an eyebrow as he looked over at James.

"You're a City Lord?" Alex asked.

"Oh that, yeah I am." Ben answered calmly.

"Then why are you here in the wilderness?" Chuck interjected.

"My scouts told me that they spotted zombies scouting the city. I didn't like the sound of that so I came to investigate." Ben explained.

Chuck nodded his head, understanding Ben's unease with the zombies.

"Is he really a general?" Lola asked as she looked at James with scorn.

"Yes he is one of my four generals, each one is on charge of a division. Mage, warrior, ranger and knight or s.h.i.+eld wielder." Ben continued to explain.

"He is so weak though." Lola looked at James in disdain.

"Hey you want to fight little girl?" James said, clearly upset with this girl's att.i.tude.

Lola sneered before disappearing and appearing behind James, sending at fist towards his back.

James' eyes went cold as a wall of wind surrounded him, blocking her fist. He then twisted his body and sent a kick towards her midsection. Lola easily evaded and sent her own kick towards James' head.

James arched his back, dodging the kick. He then grabbed her ankle. Locking her in place.

"Okay that's enough." Ben said, Takon then swept his tail, knocking both of them into the lake. "You two obviously need to cool down."

"G.o.d dammit Ben I just got dry!" James screamed at Ben as he walked out of the lake.

Lola didn't say anything and just glared at Ben. Her clothes stuck to her body, revealing a curvy figure. She quickly dashed into the woods before coming back wearing her normal baggy dry clothes.

"Let's go already." Ben said as two black phoenix wings appeared on his back.

The others quickly jumped on Ava and Dakon's back, included James who didn't want to be dangled from Takon's claws like last time.

After a short flight, the giant walls of the city started to show themselves. Even though they had only been gone for 3 days, it felt much longer to them.

They landed in front of the north gate, the guards had their weapons pointed at them in fear as Ava and Takon landed.

Ben gently touched Ava and Takon's sides, sending them back into his soul realm. The guards quickly recognized Ben and gave a salute.

"Greetings City Lord!" the said in unison.

"h.e.l.lo, thanks for guarding the city." Ben said as he walked past them, into the city.
