Ben and company entered the city. The four people they found were wide eyed and jaws dropped as they looked around at this giant city. Ben smiled remembering his first reaction to the city.

Ben took out his communication jade and contacted Deke for an update. Deke responded quickly saying that the mining of the cave was proceeding to plan and more humans were joining. The 4 army divisions were still in the south fighting zombies but things were going much smoother for them after Shenelle joined. Lane had created patrols for the guards and sent his troops outside the city everyday to train.

Ben was surprised at the jump in strength and economy the city had in the last few days.

'Fighting the zombies must be strengthening the soldiers more than I realized.' Ben thought.

Ben's eyes turned round before they turned greedy. The city had made a ton of money for him and the treasury was now over flowing.

Ben was silently laughing to himself when James asked, "What's with you and that creepy smile."

Ben turned and saw that James and the others were all staring at him with strange expressions. Clearing his throat and pretending nothing happened, he invited everyone to the City Lord mansion.

Walking through the city, Ben was glad to find the streets busy with people buying and selling. The mood seemed to be light and cheerful.

The four were still amazed that a city like this existed. They fought everyday to survive while these people had the luxury of shopping. Even the stone faced Chuck was amazed at the city.

"I looked the same when I first came here." Ben laughed, guiding them through the city.

As they approached the City Lord mansion, Ben saw two people waiting for him at the gate.

Cloey and Cathy both heard that Ben was back from Deke and decided to wait for him by the gate.

Seeing Ben approach the two women walked towards him to greet him.

Cathy hugged Ben tightly, "I'm glad you're home safe Benny." she said in his ear.

The second Ben's released Cathy from the hug a body slammed into his chest, hugging him tightly.

"Okay let's go eat. Mom we have a couple guests if that alright." Ben told his mother, motioning towards Lola and the others.

With Cloey in hand, Ben and guests made their way into the mansion. Ben gave them each rooms with fresh clothes and baths. He told them that he would send someone to get them for dinner. Ben guided Cloey back to his room.
