Beverly was the ceo of one of the biggest companies in andolia ,after her father the former leader has died she took over his position making sure to keep the company standing on its feet, she grew up in a wealthy family wearing the most expensive clothes eating the tastiest kind of dishes, on top of her unparalleled appearence she had a great body, everyone who knew her wanted her as his lover.

she was living the life that millions of people wished for, getting whatever she wanted from a young age,having different kinds of people acting respectful in front of her, never would she have imagined a situation where she will be lifted by her neck barely breathing.

"huh what if the wearer is dead then?"kurono looked up at her with a smirk he asked.

a look of horror started to show on her face, she didn't know why he was so interested in the neklace but she knew one thing or at least she was hoping that she knew.

'he won't risk killing me' she thought at the same time struggling to get the hand strangling her off.

"you told me that you are the only one capable of touching it, what will happen if you die then?"the look in his eyes told just how much cold blooded the boy right in front of her was.

"give it to me" he was very curious about anything related to gantz and this thing on the woman's neck was something extremely mysterious, he was sure that if he didn't get his hands on it he will regret it for eternity.

"p coughs put mee cough dowwm i spea ugh" she said barely able to talk.

looking at her for a while kurono let her down, she dropped to the ground coughing as she was trying to breath, her eyes were red her face missed up by her tears.

"I'm listening"he said his voice as cold as ever.

'how is he so strong'

after breathing in and out for several times she started to explain.

"t_this was not mine originally, it was my father's, everyone in the company trusted and respected him alot so when he told them that it was a normal neklace he wore no one doubted him" speaking until this point she looked at the middle aged man who was staring back at her with a surprised face.

"in fact as people noticed that he was wearing it all the time keeping it around his neck they started treating it as a symbol representing the ceo of the company" she looked tired as she sighed, it wasn't a long while since her father died so she felt sadness when talking about him.

"a symbol? what about the word written on it?"he asked with a confused face.

'why would they do that even if the word invasion is small and can't be red from a long distance but it is still there'

the black orb that largely resembled gantz has the word "invasion" right on top of it so treating it as a symbol can be largely misunderstood by others.

"do you understand what is written here?"she was greatly shocked, they have searched everywhere in every place trying to find the meaing of that word but to no avail,even her father didn't understand it.

'she can't read it' he thought

'something's happening i'm not aware of'

"you care about your life" he said indicating for her to give up the small orb.

"w_well the thing is my father had some kind of sickness that is pa.s.sed down in the family, i can only live up to forty if i don't wear this"she spoke holding back her tears.

"dad has given it to me after making sure it is untouchable by anyone other than the one wearing it."she broke down in tears.

"a week didn't pa.s.s before he pa.s.sed away." she slowly started to calm down.

"you understand now why i can't give it to you" she said holding it on her delicate hands"this is my life"

kurono gazed at her silently, he didn't know if she was bluffing or not as he wasn't a master in reading people's thoughts.

"you do realize i can torture you" he spoke

"i don't care i have to keep on living i need to finish what dad had desired"

"and what is that" he sure had changed and became more cruel than before, however he didn't reach the point where he can easily torture humans , though he didn't want to give up on the neklace.

"a project designed by my father, it's a suit, it has the same ability as this ball it can help extend my life span" she spoke with a hopeful tone on her voice.

kurono kept his silence lookint absentmindidly at the void

'is she talking about what that mark guy stole from them? '

"if you help me get it back from mark i certainly will give you this necklace."she looked expectantly waiting for his answer.

"huh you sure can trust me?, i just killed your people"he said with a snort.

"we can forget what happened in the past, we'll make a real deal this time you get the project and i will give you what you want"she said winking at him with a seductive smile.

he considered this for a moment, and "alright" he said before approaching her with a smile on his face, he picked her up and she leaned on his chest, she looked at him in the eyes her lips approaching his, she closed her eyes waiting for the kiss only to hear the clodest tone in her life"if i notice that you were lying, you're dead"

'she's not telling me everything '

turning his neck he looked at the now shocked man beside them, all this time he was right there afraid to even move a finger "give me your phone"

taking the phone out of his pocket the man slowly advanced toward kurono before giving it to him.

"i will only get you mark, i don't care about the project, do you understand? "she nodded her head absentmindedly.

"i'll contact you when i get him"turning his head choosing a way he started leaving the place.

even after his silhouette was already gone she was still looking at his direction the only thought she had was
