Gantz:the Devil Within 13 The Alien's Ability

kurono slowly stood up from the ground, it was a heavy attack he just received raising his head with difficulty, he noticed the alien he was going to slay standing on its legs, beside it stood another ape like alien.

they looked exactly the same, the two four armed freaks with their red three eyes were staring at him in extreme rage.

'if it's just two then i can handle it' he thought as he noticed the one on the right growl before it dashed toward him, even though it was breathing in and out in a fast pace its speed never slowed down.

he didn't wait for it to reach him as he activated the suits power he run straight approaching it with an extremely fast speed, it raised one of its arms intending to smash him but suddenly it stopped, with a bam it dropped lying lifelessly on the cold ground.

"this was easier than i thought" kurono murmured to himseld as he kept staring at his black sword, the moment when the alien raised its fist to strike he took the opportunity and fastly drew his weapon which had extended to more than 20 feet in length easily covering the distance between them, he cut a deep wound on its neck .

he didn't think it will die that easily though, the creature was very powerful as he himself tasted one of its punshes, he knew if he got hit again he will be finished.

thinking to this point he turned to look toward the other alien who was now gazing at its friend's corpse, seeing it moving he became more cautious, however the monster wasn't advancing toward him,suprisingly it was approaching the dead alien kurono had just finished off.

'what is it planning to do?' even though his face indicated confusion and perplexion he never let his guard down.

his eyes never left the alien as it reached the corpse, staring it for a minute before it filled its hands with the blood coming out from the sword wound and slowly drank it up.

'it's drinking blood ' at first he was confused at its strange actions but now he was mostly shocked.

he actually thought it was some kind of ritual or something like that however a minute didn't pa.s.s before he was proven wrong, the extreme white fur the monster had turned slowly from white to brown to orange to red as it continued drinking blood.

"f.u.c.k is it transforming or what?" he didn't wait to find out as he dashed toward the blood red alien, he covered the distance between them in a mere second raising his large sword he brought it down intending to cut its neck, the alien didn't just stand and watch the sword approaching it as in its turn raised its left hand to block the oncoming attack.

"say bye to your hand" kurono smirked, he knew just how much sharp the gantz sword was, and that trying to stop it with your hands was a suicidal action.

however his smirk quickly turned to schock, blood came out from its left hand yet it was only a small wound, there was only one thought in his head 'its defense is terrifying'.

'the one i killed last time was not that resilient' his expression was grave he thought silently

"did it become more powerful after drinking blood?" he murmured to himself.

the sword cut on its hand was small and posed no danger to it, however it made the the alien mad growling it dashed toward kurono .

his back was drenched in cold sweat as he raised his weapon against the fast furious monster, however before reaching him it jumped in the air and dropped down toward him with extreme speed and pricision.

before it reached him he concentrated all the suit's power on his legs he jumped away however he was swept by the wind as he found himself beneath a pile of rocks and destroyed trees.

slowly standing up he noticed that the monster was now standing on a crater five meter in radius. he knew just how much powerful the ape like alien had became

add to that its unbreakable defense and fast speed he started thinking about escaping when he noticed the red color on its fur slowly dissipating and turning white again.

the alien showed an expression of fear on its eyes before it hurriedly approached the other alien's corpse .

"oh no you won't " kurono yelled as he fastly chased after it.

he knew what it was planning to do and he was not going to let it succeed, thankfully he was now faster than the monster, the latter wasn't even close to the corpse before it felt danger coming from behind, it quickly dodged to the right, however a deep wound was now present on its left shoulder.

"you shouldn't show your back the enemy"kurono chuckled.

he was actually relieved that the boost in its power wasn't a permanent thing and now that it was back to its initial appearance, he could defeat three of it not to mention one.

the monster was holding its shoulder in pain slowly backing off and growling, he fastly approached it and with a slash its head went flying while its body crashed to the ground.

kurono sighed in relief now the fight had ended, he wasn't expecting a tough one to show early, this alien had the ability to grow stronger just by drinking blood, and if it had a constant supply of blood it can be invincible.

thinking here kurono shook his head strongly and just when he was about to leave he heard a strange noise that seemed to be coming from far away, turning his head he started looking left and right he didn't notice anything.

the noise didn't disappear instead it became louder and louder closing his eyes he began to grasp what it was, it largely rea.s.sembled the sound of the ape like alien when it was growling.

he didn't wait for long before one of them showed up and like the other two he had defeated, it had four arms, three eyes and white fur, looking at the corpses it howled in anger.

"points are coming my way"kurono laughed before he started walking toward the enemy, he didn't take a second step before another ape like alien appeared beside it.

'i can take on two' he was thinking when a third one showed up.

"three won't pose a p_"he didn't finish his words before a fourth one appeared he became serious as a fifth a sixth and a seventh one stood all together looking at him furiously, and the number only increased as one alien after the other all coming from the same direction stood in front of him.

he couldn't count how many aliens there was but he could tell that their numbers exceeded fifty, although they were aliens of the same kind they looked a little diffrent from each other however they had one thing in common, they were all looking at the same person and that was kurono.

he couldn't deny it, he was afraid. but it was all his fault, he became c.o.c.ky and understimated the mission giving by gantz.

'i have to escape but i need an oppurtunity'he could barely think in this kind of situation and the only solution he found was escaping.

"hey there's someone in there" he could hear Kevin's voice coming from a place nearby attracting the aliens attention with it, he didn't think much as he activated the suit's ability, its artificial muscles expanded before he dashed in the other way using all the speed he could master he clenched his teeth as he thought 'sorry guys'
