kurono and jake had secretly left the hotel, they were waiting for the middle aged man's arrival hiding at a corner, time pa.s.sed slowly as jake was sweating furiously, he didn't lie he really talked to the man however an hour had pa.s.sed with no trace of him, he doesn't need to be that smart to know what kurono was thinking.

"h_he told me he'll be here"noticing kurono's ice cold eyes jake couldn't help but stutter.

kurono remained silent.

all this time the two were hiding in an alley keeping their eyes at the hotel waiting for the guy to pa.s.s by,

just when they thought that he won't arrive , a man's voice was heard coming from behind them.

turning his neck kurono was staring at the same man who opened a room for him, a middle aged man wearing a blue suit with black pants.

kurono wasn't sure if the guy knew about mark to even help him escaping, however among all the hotel's stuff this man was the one he suspected most.

the guy didn't notice them as he was speaking to someone in his cellphone, he kept walking left and right his head down showing signs of nervousness. although he was talking quietly kurono could still grasp what he was saying.

"hey where's my money? what? no no no no we didn't agree on this, I'm in trouble here ok? i need my money..."before he could finish talking the call ended.

"f.u.c.k"he yelled with a furious face

jake gazed at him weirdly he was about to speak when he noticed kurono indicating for him to leave.

he worried about his friend's safety but he worried for his more, standing up he slowly left the place, for his surprise he couldn't see kurono at all when turning his head, however the idea to go back never crossed his mind at all he kept advancing until he left the alley.

the man was furious as he hit the wall hard with his clenched fist, turning his head he was surprised to see a strangly familiar boy standing right in front of him.

"long time no see"

"y_you are"realisation hit him as he remembered the boy he met last night.

"i don't care about what happened, you just tell me about mark's whereabouts"

"i_i what are you talking about " his back was filled with cold sweat, he was surprised how kurono found about mark, however he chose to feign ignorance.

hearing his answer kurono didn't hesitate before he drew a gun he kept in his pants, it was just a normal gun he stole from one of the guys he beat as he wasn't that dumb to use one of the gantz weapons.

"now do you know? "kurono spoke calmly pointing the muzzle at him.

"i_i don't know anyone by that name, please sir put the gun down" he was frightened being threatened at gunpoint, yet he was determined to remain silent.

just when he finished talking a faint bang sound was heard as the bullet travelled with fast speed breaking through the flesh on his right leg, the gun was equipped with a silencer so it didn't make much noise.

"ughhhhh mphhh"kurono covered the man's mouth with one hand forcing him to shut up, he was sure that the latter was lying just from the way he answered and how he was avoiding eye contact.

after the man stopped yelling he let him go, the man took several breaths while looking at the gun pointing at his head.

"i'll count to thee and i'll shoot "seeing him remain silent kurono begun counting "1_2_"

"if i tell you will you let me go?"

kurono nodded slowly.

"he never left the hotel he is hiding in the room number XX" kurono was surprised at first before staring at the man's eyes, he didn't believe him but he could check.

picking up his cellphone he searched for beverly's number instead he found one with the ceo name beside it he dialed the number

"is this kurono?"

"go check the room number XX"

"why? "

"just go check it"

a minute pa.s.sed quickly while waiting when he heard a scream coming out from the other side.

"oh my gooood kurono how did you find hi.. "listening to the surprised Beverly speaking he hanged up, turning toward the other guy he looked at him weirdly.

"you were telling the truth"

"i won't risk my life for that b.a.s.t.a.r.d " the man spoke angrily while holding the wound on his leg with both hands.

"how did you do it?"kurono was silent for a moment before asking in a confused tone, Beverly's men entered in and out of the hotel daily they searched everywhere for mark how could they miss that room.

the man started chuckling before speaking " the room mark is in now was marked as non reserved, and since they failed on catching him because of you, they became certain he ran and didn't think he would stay at the hotel, it may seem very dangerous for him to stay their but it is in fact the safest place"

"i was going to kill you however i changed my mind"he looked at his miserable apearence before saying"you better call an ambulance"

kurono left the alley, he called beverly as he finished his part of the deal and got her mark, the thing he wanted from her was the small gantz like orb.

"hmph why did you hang up on me, more importantly we got mark you should have seen his face he looked so surprised.." kurono got a headache listening to the blabbering of beverly.

"i want the neklace"he cut her off.

"ok meet me at my house its in... " he didn't know the place so he took a taxi to get their.

ten minutes later he found himself in front of big villa, with a big yard a large swimming pool and a beautiful view, he was very impressed by the scene.

while he was admiring it a maid was approaching him hurriedly.

"are you sir kurono?"she asked politely.

"yeah "

"this way "she said leading him toward the entrance.

after entering she led him toward a sofa he sat waiting for beverly to show up.

he waited and waited until a beautiful woman wearing a blue nightgown was climbing down the stairs with elegant light steps.

she kept making eye contact while advancing toward him until she sat on his right side leaning on him a little.

kurono didn't refuse her approach as he was a healthy straight young man, the last time he refused her because he was wairy, now that he came to get the neklace he didn't mind if he left with some bonus.

"well as i promised here is the neklace you can take it"she said pointing at the ball dangling on her chest.

"i can touch it now? "he asked confused.

"yeah it was covered by a weird substance our company had invented recently that can make things untouchable , but now it's gone"she said at the same time leaning at him her chest was in full contact with his hands.

his hand slowly advanced toward the ball and just when it was about to touch it it slipped through to fall on her large chest, he was surprised at first before smiling he continued his groping, he took full advantage of the opportunity to slowly feel her up.

"didn't you say i can touch it? "he asked

"i made a mistake,ah" she answered while moaning.

both of them were enjoying the moment, it was 7 pm and kurono didn't mind to stay the night here, he didn't own a house anyway. thinking to this point he felt the same weird sensation when getting summoned by gantz .

he kissed her on the lips before saying" i have something to do, give me the neklace"she looked surprised before taking out two thin gloves from the table beside them sticking her tongue out she said "i lied there is no substance, you have to wear those gloves"

quicly wearing one he took the ball gently from her neck covering it with the other glove he put it on his pocket before he left the villa.
