Suddenly a man came walking out of a room, b.u.mping into her.
As she fell, papers went flying everywhere.
"What's the big idea!?" The man cried.
"S-sorry..." The woman whispered.
"d.a.m.nit, now I've got coffee all over my top!" He grumbled.
"H-here..." The woman began, as she pulled a handkerchief out from her pocket.
"Will this do?" She asked, extending her arm.

The man swatted the handkerchief away angrily.
"h.e.l.l no!" He cried.
"This stain ain't gonna come out!" He shouted, readying himself to stand up.
"G.o.dd.a.m.n lowly interns..." He grumbled, as he walked away.
The woman stared for a minute as he walked away, then looked down in shame.
"Janine!"
"Hey, Janine?" A voice called out.
The woman quickly turned her head at the mention of her name.
"I was just wondering..." A lady began.
"Do y'wanna...get coffee together or somethin' maybe...?" She blushed.
Janine's eyes twinkled. Just as she was about to give an answer, a door behind them opened.
"Absolutely not." A man answered.
Janine's eyes widened.
"Janine has to work overtime for the property she damaged earlier." The man narrowed his eyes.
"Besides, she'll probably just spill it on you." The man laughed, closing the door.
Janine looked at the girl, then looked down, giving a sad smile.
As she went to open her mouth, the woman turned away.
"W-wait!" Janine cried.
"No worries, I'll just ask Lexi." The lady muttered, as the door closed behind her.
Janine stared for a minute, trying her best not to cry. However, she couldn't help it.
She put her head against the wall, as she whimpered.
"Oi."
Janine, startled, quickly spun around.
"You ok?" A man asked.
Janine put a hand on her chest.
"W-who are you...?" She asked.
"You...don't look like you work here."
The man simply smiled.
"I saw you get rejected...how sad." The man closed his eyes, smiling.
"D-do you work here...?" She asked.
"Do I need to call security?" She asked, narrowing her eyes.
"Now, now." The man grinned.
"No need, I was just sent here to give you an invitation." The man grinned.
"An invitation...?" Janine asked.
"Yup!" The man put a hand against the wall, trapping Janine.
"Say..." He narrowed his eyes.
"Ya ever wanted power?"
