In the Signa System of Planet Ilter, there weren't many plants, only a few and even asteroids or other bodies were scarce. Suddenly, a fleet of fifty big Magitek Corvettes. Each of them was around kilometers long, and more than a hundred meters wide. Armed with superior Magitek Energy Weapons, ready for combat.

Behind them, there was something even more colossal. Huge colossal s.p.a.ce Fortress was going there, surrounded by fifty Magitek Corvettes. On the commanding bridge of the Orbital s.p.a.ce Defense Fortress, Lucien was sitting in a chair and looking at the screens before him.

"Status report." Commanded Lucien.

"Currently, we are on the outskirts of the Signa System, already nearing to the Planet Ilter. Our scans have caught, around ten poorly made s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps. Their combat powers is very low, and some of them are already damaged, probably they are usually used in the combat on Plant Ilter."

Answered one officer, who was sitting behind the console.

"Prepare for the fight, for the first time, we would be testing the combat power of the Magitek s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps against another type of the s.p.a.ce vessels, our previous test flights were only against mutated beasts or practicing targets." Said Lucien calmly.

"Yes, Your Highness."

Answered the officer with respect, as he returned to his console and started inserting commands on the holographic screen.

"This is a commanding vessel, Orbital s.p.a.ce Defense Fortress Red Rose. By command of his Imperial Highness, all Magitek Vessels are to immediately ready for combat, I repeat. All Magitek Vessels in the fleet immediately ready for combat. Confrontation with the enemy, in nearly fifteen minutes."

With the speed of the Magitek Corvettes, they would be arriving soon at the planet Ilter, and soon they would be fighting first s.p.a.ce battle, between s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps.

Meanwhile, as they were on their way, Lucien was relaxing in his chair and thinking about something else, mainly about the problem with the population of the Holy Niflheim Empire.

'As soon as we finish this project, the strength of the Empire would skyrocket. Our only deficit is our extremely pathetic population. When we have numbers, everything would be good, an increase of at least several thousand would be enough to have a good start.'

"Magister Isaacs, how is the state of the Sacred Blood Crystals? Is there enough blood for the conversion of several thousand Evolved Zombies?" Asked Lucien as he looked at the Magister.

"Of course, kid. We have been preparing enough Life Force and feeding it to the Sacred Blood Crystals. Thanks to breeding mutated beats, we have enough of the blood to evolve several thousand Evolved Zombies, hahaha... also, don't you think this is wonderful? Such magnificent evolutionary project... who designed this was absolutely genius... haha..." Laughed Magister madly.

'Hmm... again another one that went crazy... still... to find a way to convert Evolved Zombies to Sacred Devourer Ghouls, it is understandable... though that laugh is creepy.' Thought Lucien, as he just smiled at the Magister.

Magister Alexander Roland Isaacs was a middle-aged man, around 180 centimeters high with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a white lab coat, with insignia of the Holy Niflheim Empire and another one that was signifying his rank as Magister.

Planet Ilter, Federation Fleet, Commanding Vessel

"Commander! Commander! Emergency!!! There are several tens vessels approaching the planet at high speed." Shouted one of the officials there.

"Everybody on deck! Immediately be ready for combat!" Shouted commander, but it was already late.

Energy laser shots were already being shot and were approaching them. And it was already late... the first one hit the s.h.i.+p at the left-wing, that was already damaged from the previous fight, and exploded into beautiful fireworks.

"s.h.i.+t, retreat and scatter. Try to bypa.s.s them and outmaneuver them. They have energy weapons. Our kinetic s.h.i.+elds cannot withstand their weaponry."

Shouted commander of the Ilter Federation s.p.a.ce Fleet after he saw that second s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p was destroyed by the energy weaponry of enemies. Meanwhile, in the Orbital s.p.a.ce Defense Fortress Red Rose Lucien was watching the entire place with a menacing smile.

"They are trying to outmaneuver us. Tell Loruel and Seira to take half of the fleet, and destroy them. Don't allow them to land on the planet, we can't start bombardment of the planet, as this planet is needed to be in our foothold."

Bombarding the planet was now out of the question because this planet has strategical value. Energy weapons of the Magitek Corvettes had very high destructive powers, despite it being small lasers.

Soon, Ilter s.p.a.ce Fleet started firing at the Niflheim Magitek s.p.a.ce Fleet, but their Magitke Energy s.h.i.+elds just tickled upon the contact with them. Then the revenge attack of the Niflheim Magitek s.p.a.ce Fleet started and tens of energy attacks were being shot every second.

Soon enough, the Planet Ilter s.p.a.ce Fleet was being destroyed one after another. They were destroyed like nothing and only s.p.a.ce straps were flying through s.p.a.ce. After several minutes all s.h.i.+ps of the Planet Ilter s.p.a.ce Fleet were destroyed.

"Your Highness, all Planet Ilter s.p.a.ce Fleet has been destroyed. Please give further commands." Reported one official.

"Prepare for landing. Chose a suitable place, which is far from any forces so we could built forces. Also, leave a few s.h.i.+ps in the orbit together with Orbital s.p.a.ce Defense Fortress and release scavengers to collect all destroyed s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps of Ilter Federation Fleet, the could be used in construction." Commanded Lucien with an authoritative voice.

"Yes, Your Highness. What should we do with sc.r.a.p metal from Ilter Federation s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps?" Asked officer, behind the holographic console.

"Store it in the Orbital s.p.a.ce Defense Fortress, there should be enough s.p.a.ce in the warehouse. Now that the Orbital s.p.a.ce Defense Fortress is finished, it should be able to store enough materials."

Orbital s.p.a.ce Defense Fortress was an enormous construct that was able to hold several tens of Magitek Corvettes. It was finished only after tens of thousands of Magitek Infantry Soldiers were working on it for years.
