The Binary World 42 Profession Part-1

As the light of dawn entered the forge Zeus sighed as he had just finished making gauntlets for Tarasque as he sighed he was working for a whole night making secondary weapons with the help of his teacher, Alfostrog sighed as he spoke, "Well you have finished making the weapons, just go and take some rest after you return you may try inscribing the runes on it.

Zeus nodded as he stood up stretching getting rid of the kinks in his muscles as he spoke, "Well by your leave then Master.", Alfostrog simply waved his head indicating him to leave.

A couple of hours later he awoke up as he left for his room at Granny Zoe's house as he entered he was greeted by Granny Zoe who seemed to have just awakened up as she spoke, "Good Morning Child, so did you finish your work already."

Zeus smiled as he spoke, "Yes I just finished making weapons for my teams. So what are you doing Granny Zoe?"

Granny Zoe smiled as she spoke, "Well I am making preparation to make some potions child."

Before anyone could speak Tarasque appeared as she spoke, "Look who is back did you finish your work."

Zeus nodded as he spoke, "Yup finished forging though engraving and what not is still left to be done."

"So the whole gang is here." Azi's voice came from the door way as Zeus took a chair as he sat on it in a way that his chin rested top rail of the chair, "Yup it seems so, did you finish remaking our armors?"

Azi sighed as she spoke, "Well I have finished making them but I have runes left to engrave on them."

As they chatted and gossiped with Granny Zoe the time pa.s.sed by as it was already 8 o'clock in the morning the temple would open soon enough as such Zeus spoke with a smile, "Well sorry to be stick in the mud but I believe it is time we leave for the temple then we have to meet with the Cardinal."

Zoe narrowed her eyes as she spoke, "Cardinal? Which Cardinal is here?"

Azi: "Cardinal Boudier."

Zoe sighed as she spoke, "I see so he is here that explains why the Archbishop was dragged across the road naked by Paladins on horseback."

Tarasque: "You know him teacher?"

Zoe shook her head as she spoke, "I might not have met him in person but I have heard about him as lot, he is person who is in charge of dealing out punishments to corrupt church officials and is known for his ruthlessness, there is even some rumors that he burned an entire village to fish out wrong doers I advise you to always be vigilant around him."

Zeus listened to what was being said about his quest giver with rapt attention he sis not know but that person rubbed him wrong many theories arose in his head as they made their way to the temple, Azi placed a hand on his shoulders as she spoke, "What happened Zeus?"

Zeus glanced at her as he spoke, "Nothing I was just thinking about the 'Cardinal'."

Tarasque joined their conversation as she spoke, "Oh and what do you think about him?"

Zeus ran his hand through his hair which was stopped by small stubs on his head, 'ugh I forgot about the horns sprouting on my head', "Nothing much we have to be vigilant on making a deal with him, he might simply use us as bait in order to lure out his enemies if nothing else."

Azi groaned as she spoke, "You have to tone down your paranoia a little cuz."

Zeus shrugged as they reached the temple as they were greeted by a large line of people along with a few NPCs amongst them who were trying to get a new profession, upon seeing the line Tarasque whistled lowly at that as she spoke, "It would take a long time for us to get inside."

Azi smirked as she spoke, "Well follow me I can get you in faster." Confusing Tarasque who looked curiously at her when she casted a glance at Zeus he was simply moving towards the temple without a care in the world.

At seeing the duo move towards the temple so nonchalantly she quickly chased after them, as the neared a guard simply appeared in front of them as he spoke, "HALT! If you wish to enter the Temple go stand in the line."

Azi: "Is the line same for Commoners, Citizens and n.o.bles?"

The guard scoffed as he spoke, "That line over there is for Commoners only."

Azi spoke in a haughty tone "Well we are n.o.bles so move."

The Guard was taken aback as he spoke in a gruff tone, "Well then you have to place your hands on the crystal globe, if you are a n.o.ble then you may pa.s.s."

At that the trio went and placed there hand as the white globe lit up in cerulean color, the guards bowed and allowed them to pa.s.s, by then their action had caught the eyes of many people as the crowd went in uproar behind them, as they entered the temple a person dressed in armor stepped forward as he spoke, "Good morning Ladies and Gentleman welcome to the 'The Temple', please allow me to escort you to inner sanctum."

As they entered they pa.s.sed through various stone stele placed inside the room, they watched as people stood in front of them each with various markings on them as they placed their hands on top of it a bright light appeared before they were briskly chased away by another guard.

Then they stepped inside another room which was surprisingly empty devoid of any people except even more stone stele, they even pa.s.sed that as they reached the third room not only were they empty, but unlike the other stone stele's they were surprisingly were devoid of any symbols as such it was difficult to discern what each stood for not only that there was only 5 stone stele present placed in a circle.

Zeus: "Can you explain why it is different than the other rooms?"

The man spoke with a smile, "Well the reason for it is because the lower cla.s.s people have access to weaker level jobs, whereas the higher cla.s.s people have access to higher level jobs. Oh and before you proceed there is fees of 10 Silver coins each but if you do not wish to pay then you can go to Commoner side."

This was something he never knew prior to coming here as he once again spoke, "So we will go and touch the stone."

The man nodded as he spoke, "Yes unlike the commoners, who can only have basic cla.s.ses, citizens have access to slightly advanced cla.s.ses, the n.o.bles and Royalty have access to much better cla.s.ses than all of them but all of them are based on luck as if you are strong enough Sir, then you can have some truly strong cla.s.s but all of them will depend on what you done so far, this particular stone steles will only work once before it needs to recharge for an entire day and you are lucky no one had used it before you or else you would have had to wait for it to recharge."

Zeus shrugged as he handed 30 Silver coins for the trio as he went and stood in front of one of the stone stele just like his teammates as he spoke, "Well then let us get it over with then."

As they placed their hand on the stone stele a bright light engulfed causing them to close their eyes but as Zeus opened it he was greeted with various...o...b.. floating around him he turned around but he could not find his teammates making him increasingly worried, as he used observe his eyes widen with horror.
