Zeus simply let the ball that he had touch go as he moved to the next one, when he had first attempted to use 'observe' he was stunned seeing that he was unable to use any skill whatsoever it was getting tiring for him to check all those he rejected many of the professions he did not like any of them.

He did not know how much time had pa.s.sed since he had started searching for proper professions not only that there was repet.i.tion of same profession again and again, after what seemed to be an eternity he finally got a profession that caused a stir in him.

[PROFESSION: BATTLE SAGE

A person who is master of the art of warfare, a profession which was created to imitate '??????'. '??????' was created by G.o.ddess of War Ulene for her disciple turned lover, who was also the first and last to wield this profession.

REQUIREMENT:

1) GET ALL ACTIVE STATS AT MAXIMUM AT LEVEL 10

2) CAN FIGHT IN BOTH AS A WARRIOR AND A MAGE

3) CONQUERED A DUNGEON ON HIGHEST DIFFICULTY WITHOUT ANY PRIOR JOB OR AWAKENING

Zeus whistled lowly at that as he spoke, "Cool but will it be really be good profession for me, I do not know all I can do is accept it, after all the G.o.ddess would not make something worthless for her disciple turned lover right, although it is an imitation it should be better."

As such he took the orb, but nothing was happening no matter how much he touched and prodded and what not, after a few moments a highly irritated Zeus opened his mouth wide as he tried to swallow it, when all of a sudden a message appeared in his HUD.

Zeus who was by now choking due to him doing something incredible foolish as he had tried to swallow the orb which was currently stuck inside his throat, quickly pressed 'yes', as the orb disappeared as another notification came up on his HUD.

Zeus, "eh what h…"

Before he could speak with a bright light Zeus found himself standing himself in a familiar room, but the stone stele in front of him had changed color from white to dark, he turned his head as he watched his other teammates standing there gossiping with each other he noticed that the stele used by them were black just like his.

He sighed as he spoke, "Well it seems you all have finished already."

The duo nodded as Tarasque spoke, "What took you so long?"

Zeus sighed as he spoke, "It took some time for me to decide and all those choices was making my head hurt."

The man who escorted them coughed lightly bringing their attention towards him as he spoke, "Excuse me ladies and gentleman, do you wish to disclose your profession?"

Zeus narrowed his eyes as he spoke, "What do you mean by that?"

The man, "Well you see the according to the rule of our Empire anyone who is not a n.o.ble or Royalty will have to disclose their Profession but those of Royalty or n.o.bility is not needed to disclose as such."

Zeus nodded as he spoke, "I will not disclose it then."

Azi: "Neither will I."

Tarasque: "Same here."

With that the group left towards the Grand Cathedral after all they have an audience with the 'Cardinal'.

Azi: "So what did you choose Zeus?"

Zeus smirked as he spoke, "Ladies first dear cousin ladies first."

Azi huffed as she spoke, "I am a 'Valkyrie'. Supposed, ranged fighters of G.o.ds of Isera."

Tarasque :"My profession is called 'Einherjar', well you can say I am more of a combat medic of the G.o.ds."

Zeus whistled lowly at that as he spoke, "Cool you guys have some really cool professions, after checking so much I chose 'Battle Sage', because it was created by imitating a profession created by G.o.ddess of War Ulene, but after I took it was evolved forcefully because of my 'draconic heritage ', into 'War DragoonVir.'"

Azi frowned as she spoke, "What kind of name is that? At least we have heard ours in Norse Mythology."

Zeus scratched his chin as he spoke, "Well you see the 'Battle Sage' was created imitating a profession by the G.o.ddess of war for her disciple turned lover, which was forcibly evolved and I hope mine is that one. But most importantly I think the word 'Dragoon' in this case might have been derived from dragon seeing how it was my 'Draconic Heritage' that evolved it and as for the word 'Vir' I might have learnt while browsing the internet that the word originates from India which means 'Brave'.", he puffed his chest up as he spoke.

Tarasque: "I hope the cereal incident does not repeat once again."

Azi narrowed her eyes as she spoke, "What cereal incident?"

Zeus blinked in front of Tarasque who was about to answer her question as he held her mouth stopping her from speaking."

As Azi spoke with a smirk, "I hope you are not telling about Zeus's famous luck where he tried to get his favorite anime character's figurine by buying 10,000 packets of cereals only to get 'BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME' in all of them."

Zeus was dumbstruck at that as he spoke, "You knew?"

Tarasque smirked as she spoke, "The best part is that the company which sold the cereals stated that they had created 10,000 boxes which had nothing in them. Meaning all the cereals he bought from scouring various stores were all those false ones."

Zeus's head hung low as Azi simply patted her back as she spoke, "I am so sorry Zeus I hope someone will surely create some device to transfer your luck from the game to real one but till then 'Fight On'."

Zeus huffed angrily as he began walking in a brisk pace towards the Cathedral with his giggling teammates behind him.

As they neared the entrance to the second tier of city or what was known as the gate way to the inner part of the city they saw a large crowd standing they glanced at each other before the jogged towards them as they neared they pushed through the crowd, as they watched with wide eyes, the Cardinal standing near a very fat person who was crying and babbling while having snot dripping from his nose, various injuries were on his body as he was tied on a stake, the paladins were keeping the people in line.

Cardinal Boudier: "...Ex-Archbishop of Renaissance City because of your crimes we the Church judge you guilty as such your sentence is to be carried immediately by burning on stakes."

No sooner did he state that a Paladin stepped forward as he lit the pyre under the ex Archbishop's feet as the person screamed in pain as he was being burned many in the crowd cheered at the sight although many simply turned their heads as they muttered in disgust, Tarasque and Azi closed their eyes as they watched the burning man scream in so horrifically as Zeus quickly put his hands on their shoulder to comfort them, it was much easier to kill a monster but someone who looks like a human and being tortured like that was too much even if they were just some binary numbers at the end of the day, as Zeus's eyes turned towards the Cardinal he simply smiled at him as he beckoned Zeus to follow him, Zeus sighed as he dragged his teammates away from their as he followed the Cardinal.
