A God's Apocalyptic Entertainment 185 Speed Up

I would be lying if I said I wasn't surprised with how fast Rose took out the Rock t.i.tan. My eyes went wide as I watched her whip turn to ice and then her brutal torture of the creature. Yes it wasn't even considered a fight anymore; the thing couldn't even put up a fight, it just stayed there as it was quickly whittled to nothing.

Rose sent a smile our way after defeating the creature in such a manner and I could see the battle l.u.s.t in her eyes, I could vaguely connect to that, ever since last night I had felt like some type of energy wanted to get out of me. I felt it boil beneath my skin as energy ran through my body.

Surprisingly my skill 'Ice', or our connection, none of it upgraded, I thought with what we were feeling it might have been caused by a skill upgrading, but there was no such thing. Right now though I really didn't care. What this truly proved, watching her take down the t.i.tan so fast, was that we were getting stronger by such practices.

If we were to continue to do this nightly I was sure that we could maybe reach another level. We would utilize the cheats that were given to us, that were called skills. With them we would deepen our connection with the energy around us and grow stronger.

I felt like something turned on in my mind as I thought of this, could this be a viable path to defeating G.o.d? I felt like it was. I had read some novels in my time and every time someone go strong enough they started to connect with the world around them. Was this the same thing?

Were G.o.ds just like us at the start, people who had gained a certain control over certain energies? Once the thought pa.s.sed through my head I almost slapped myself. How didn't I think of this? I mean it was so obvious.

Realizing this fact I reaffirmed how lucky I was to gain a skill such as ice, and be connected to people who also had skills on such a level. These skills would be useful till I reached level 100, and probably way beyond if possible.

After thinking to myself for a while and shutting everything out, my mind came back to the scene of everyone looking at me. Ella had a small frown as I felt her probe my mind. I set her fears to rest. I might have been standing there doing nothing for a large amount of time, it would unnerve some people.

Getting back into it we continued to whittle down the t.i.tans that roamed around, it took quite some time, but with all of us working together the speed with which we cleared them notably sped up. I smiled and continued to slog on through them.

Finally there were only 3 of them left in the room. It was time to test how far we had come. The energy was still waiting to bust out from me and I felt a small battle l.u.s.t begin to rise. Each of these remaining t.i.tans would be taken down by each of us, 1v1.

Ella and Rose hearing what I had decided gave large grins; they felt the same way as me. With that out of the way we all split up to deal with our opponents. Seeing that we were dealing with them outside the confines of the small tunnel they would have a lot more room for movement. But we had taken them down like this before, even though this would be the first time killing them by ourselves.

I crossed the small streams of lava as I closed in on my opponent, hearing the commotion I was causing as I made my way over, the t.i.tan had enough time to turn around and face me before I reached it. The smile on my face grew bigger as it raised its hand.

Its hand slammed down wanting to crush me as I continued to move closer. The ice that I always found slightly hard to summon came like a stream through my system with no obstructions as I coated my weapon in the deadly cold.

*Bang* *Splash*

A bit of lava was splashed as the hand impacted the ground; I had dashed to the side as it made the attack and jumped upwards. My mind thought back to some of the anime's I used to watch as I remembered the good old trick of running up the arm while it was down to reach the head.

Sadly the Rock t.i.tan wasn't big enough to warrant such a tactic, but….

Springing upwards I kicked off from the lowered arm and heard a satisfying *Bang* as its arm dipped lower from my strike. I had put quite the power behind the kick as I used it to propel myself higher. Reaching above its head, the creature roared in my face.

*Roar!!!!*

It was almost like it wanted to intimidate me, but after killing so many of them, I only gave a small smirk back.

*Roar!!!!*

From the side I heard the screams of the other t.i.tans as Ella and Rose got to work. I didn't glance their way as I knew they could handle themselves. My halberd was coated in a thick layer of ice as I swung a heavy blow at its neck joint.

*Crack*

I left a good indent in the neck and the creature screamed in even more pain, but it didn't go down. Using the rebound to pull the halberd out quicker I then flew over its head and landed on my feet. I stopped just before a stream of lava as the t.i.tan tried to turn around and face me.

I didn't give it a chance as my halberd struck the knee joints from the back.

*Roar!!*

The creature screamed from the 2 quick blows and fell to its knees, its legs buckling. Sending 2 quick slashed in the back to keep the creature distracted, I got another small running start before jumping for the head again.

I didn't go to jump over it this time though and stayed on its back. I had to keep away from the lava that ran through its body, it would sing our gear if close enough. Luckily we had found this out when some of our gear got burnt beforehand.

Using the rock surface of the t.i.tan I kept a wobbly balance as I unloaded on the poor things neck. It wasn't long before the body fell to the ground with no head, and the lava running through its body disappeared.

I felt my battle l.u.s.t diminish as I got the kill in such a way, but it wasn't completely gone, I knew I needed to do such a thing again to truly be rid of it. Looking over to the other 2, they were already finished.

They were more mid-range and long range fighters, so I wasn't surprised. Pocketing the globe it dropped I went to gather everyone, I wanted to clear a few more rooms today, especially when we were killing them so fast.
