(Rose PoV)

I felt reinvigorated somehow, the power that pulsed through my veins, I could feel it. The training we did last night was simple, but something altogether different. We all knew we had to get stronger, that was what he promised me after all.

So the first step in our grand plan was to learn how to control our energy. Not our own mind you, no, how to control each other's energy. We each had an affinity for the energy that we controlled. I controlled the earth and nature like it was a part of me, Ella controlled fire like it was rus.h.i.+ng through her veins and Liam controlled Ice as if it was a second nature.

We all had learned to control our energy over time and had come to use it quite often in fights, Liam's ice attacks, Ella's fire arrows, my earth spikes. But as we were all connected to each other, we have had access to different energy. To progress from where we had stagnated, we had to branch out and combine our energies in full.

We had sat in a circle last night and tapped into our connection while holding hands. It may have been taxing at the start but as we progressed it go easier and easier. We felt the energy that each possessed and tried to call it forth, trying to mix it inside ourselves. We pulled the energies we had and let it run through each of us.

We could only spend a short amount of time trying to do this, only give or take 2 hours. But after we were done, it was like I said. It was invigorating. It was like a whole new world was starting to expand in front of me. After last night I had been able to slightly fell some of the different energy pulsing around me.

I could always fell the earth I walk on, or the nature around me, but now I was starting to connected with the lava that flowed about, the chill in the wind, though it was rare in such a humid place. I tried to feel it more one I woke up, but I noticed that I still unconsciously tap into our connection when I did such a thing.

I had to turn it off quickly before I sapped all our energy; we wanted to clear a few more floors today. I had no clue how deep the dungeon went, but I knew a thing or two about dungeons. The elves always talked about them back on my home world. They were usually a few layers deep for the more basic ones, while they could go as far as a few kilometers deep for the advanced ones.

Of course I didn't think this was an advanced dungeon, I had heard that those were as rare as sighting a unicorn, those mythical beasts had been evading the elves for millennia. I also heard that the advanced dungeons were usually meant for higher levels, possible level 80 and up.

But that still left the possibility that this was a medium grade dungeon. Those could still reach 1km deep with the amount of floors they possess, and it would fit our level range. I had already told Liam about my suspicions and he agreed. We were most likely in a medium grade dungeon.

Even knowing this we didn't turn around or fret, we could defeat the rock t.i.tans inside here, so in the end it just meant we would get more exp. What worried the both of us was the amount of heat the dungeon was pus.h.i.+ng out. The deeper we go the hotter it will get. After a certain temperature it would be detrimental to keep fighting or try going deeper. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that.

We had just had breakfast and moved down to the next area in the dungeon. After yesterday and the amount of exp we gained, plus experience in fighting these monsters, I wanted to try facing one by myself. After talking to Liam and Ella for a while on the subject, they agreed. We would stick to the previous plan of luring one towards our compact tunnel and then they would let me handle it.

If I was having trouble though, they said they would step in and help. A small smile came to my lips as I looked at the Rock t.i.tan making its way closer and closer. I felt the energies swirling around me and was invigorated from last night; this was exactly what I needed to get my morning started!

It was almost unnatural how much energy was waiting to burst forth from me. Once the t.i.tan had come into the enclosed s.p.a.ce I instantly sprang into action.

*Crack*

I cracked my whip and called forth energy. Right away my weapon was covered in a sheet of ice, the strain was higher than connecting to the earth, but I could handle it. Ice was the only thing that hurt these enormous beings, a small part of me wanted to see how much it would scream when I went all out against it.

My eyes turned into slits as I watched the creature intently, seeing that an enemy had appeared it went to raise its arm and attack. Thanks to the size of the pa.s.sage way its shoulder joint was compacted and the already slow movements of the t.i.tan grew even slower.

I didn't even have to use much energy as the hand came slowly towards me. Jumping back to dodge the blow I lashed out with my whip right away.

*Crack* *Roar!*

The t.i.tan screamed in pain as a sizzling sound came from where my whip came into contact. Knowing that its body couldn't keep up I lashed out over and over again against its defenseless head.

*Crack**Crack**Crack**Crack**Crack**Crack**Crack**Crack*

"ROAR!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The t.i.tan shrunk back in pain and I felt the power coursing through my veins increase. This was somehow helping; I would have to tell Liam about this later.

The energy was like a small drug; my emotions were heightening in excitement as I continued to attack and attack. Luckily the t.i.tan's screams didn't elicited help from the others just 100 meters away, so I could get to work with no worries.

The pain and size of the corridor was keeping it from moving its body and finally after a small amount of time, the red lava coursing through its body dimmed into nothing and its body fell apart.

*Huff* *Puff*

I gulped in air as the energy started to leave my body, I wanted the feeling to come back, but I calmed myself. This had been too easy. Turning to have a quick peek at those behind me, Liam had a slightly shocked face, and Ella had an interested one. The kids behind them were looking at me with wide eyes and slack jaws and I couldn't see what that merchants face was like.

Even I was a bit surprised about how easy I took it down, but now knowing that it was so much easier to take down these t.i.tans, the smile on my face got bigger.

I was getting stronger.
