"Jesus Kaitlin!" His body jerked forward as he released. His hands untraveled themselves from my hair, "That was unbelievable." He laid back on the bed and groaned.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it." I grinned, pulling myself up onto the bed.

That wasn't so bad.

"You don't get off that easily, Kaitlin. I still have you for another twenty minutes." It was as if he could read my thoughts. He rolled over onto his stomach, pulling me back onto the bed with him. I laughed as he kissed my neck, his fingers tickling the arch of my back.

"Are you sure you can handle anymore?" I teased.

"Maybe I can't," He admitted, "But I'm sure you can."

"Me?" I giggled, rolling away. "You're not paying to pleasure me, Charlie."

"I can do whatever I want, it's my money." He stood up, grabbing my arm until I too was standing.

He hoisted me onto his hips, kissing me roughly as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"G.o.d you smell good, Kaitlin. So fresh and young." He threw me backwards onto the bed. I laughed as he pried my knees apart, a cheeky smile spreading across his face.

"If you don't cooperate, you'll regret it, Ms Delancy." He murmured. I raised an eyebrow, but relented, allowing him full control over me. As his tongue ran along the length of my opening, I jumped. Surprise shot through my body.

"Oh my," I whispered, combing his hair with my fingers. "Yes!" I gasped, as he weaved in, out and around my sweet spot. My fingers clutched onto his hair. I clenched my fists, not caring if I was pulling the poor man's hair out. I was so close to climaxing.

"f.u.c.k!" I gasped, a million sensations rolling through my body all at once, all colliding, creating the most amazing o.r.g.a.s.m I'd ever experienced. I felt my body go limp, as I curled back onto the bed, my body aching, throbbing.

For the last few minutes, Charlie lay beside me on the bed, gently tickling my back as the last remnants of my o.r.g.a.s.m rippled through me.

Ara was still up when I got home. I grabbed a banana and joined her on the couch.

"You're up late." I commented, peeling my banana. I took a bite. It was the first thing I'd eaten since dinner. Well, not including Charlie. I blushed at the thought.

"What?" Ara eyed me suspiciously, which made me go even redder. I shrugged at her, pretending to have no idea what she was talking about.

"What, what?" I looked at her innocently. She narrowed her eyes.

"You're...different. I don't know..." Her voice trailed off. I giggled. Ara would get a laugh out of what I'd done tonight. "Tell me, Kait!" Her screeching voice simply made me laugh harder.

"Okay!" I finally succ.u.mbed after I could see her getting annoyed. "I may have gotten a *promotion' of sorts tonight." Ara still looked confused. "Think about it, Ara," I sighed, rolling my eyes. How many areas could you possibly be promoted to in a brothel?

"No!" She gasped, the realization hitting her full force in the face. She clasped her hands over her mouth and fell off the side of the sofa, giggling. Laughing, I helped her up.

"Kait! No way!" She grinned, wide eyed and ready to listen. "Tell me everything!" I giggled, getting the feeling that the long distance thing was making Ara a little antsy.

"Missing Luke, are we?"

"This has nothing to do with Luke, and everything to do with my best friend being a dirty little wh.o.r.e!"

"Shh!" I put my hand over her mouth and nudge my head to the closed bedrooms of the kids.

"Okay. There's more. If you were shocked by that, the next bit will floor you." I said, smiling. I couldn't wait to tell her who my client was.

"What?" She was practically hanging off me. She was like a seagull, waiting for me to throw her a chip.

"Okay, so I'd been thinking of asking Mauve about...you know, since the start of the s.h.i.+ft." Ara's eyes grew wide. "So this was already in my mind. I took in my medical information and everything." I giggled. "Anyway, I was working away, minding my own business when the door opened..." I paused for effect. Ara reached over and hit me.

"Who was it?" She demanded. I glared at her and rubbed my arm. "Sorry." She mumbled.

"So anyway, the door opened. And in walked Professor Garland." Ara's eyes grew wide, her mouth dropped open in shock.

"No!" She gasped.

"Yes." I nodded, giggling.

"Kait, he's so...old!!" I giggled at her reaction. He was old, in his late forties.

"I know, but he is cute. And there is something about his authority that makes him s.e.xy. And the fact that he paid a grand for me..."

"Holy s.h.i.+t!" Ara clapped her hand over her mouth again, wincing at her loudness, "I know, I know."

"I'm doing this for Neri." I added, my tone turning serious, "You know she got accepted into some prestigious camp that will guarantee her entry into med school? Full scholars.h.i.+p?"

"That's awesome news. She is such a smart cookie. What does that have to do with...well, you know..."

"The camp costs ten grand." Ara sat back, shaking her head.

"You are one h.e.l.l of a sister, Kait. My sisters' wouldn't even lend me a d.a.m.n sweater." She grumbled. We both laughed.

I struggled to get to sleep when I finally climbed into bed. I think I had enjoyed my evening with Charlie much more than I wanted to. Not only did that confuse my feelings for Devon, but it also made me doubt my reasons for doing this.

Was I really only doing it for Neri? Or had I wanted this on some other level?

As my alarm sounded at seven, I was so glad I didn't have to work tonight, not only because I was tired, but I also wasn't in the mood to see Charlie.

Then I realized I had his cla.s.s. s.h.i.+t.

The thought of sitting through an hour lecture with Charlie made me nauseas. I thought about skipping, but this week was the summary for the mid semester test, something I couldn't miss.

I stopped Neri before she climbed out of the car.

"The camp? When do you need the cash by?" Neri stared at me, confused.

"Three weeks, why?"

I hesitated, "Put your form in. I will find the money somehow." Neri threw her arms around me tightly.

"Really Kait? I can go?" She pulled back, studying my face, "How are you going to get the money though?" Her pretty features were creased with worry.

It was typical of Neri to think too much about the logistics of things. Teenagers were supposed to jump into things without thinking. Not Neri. She'd a.n.a.lyze, debate, list the pros and cons of going to the toilet before she committed to it.

"Don't worry Neri, I have some put away." She immediately looked soothed by my calm voice. She broke out into a smile again. Just like that she was the happy teenager she should be, with nothing to worry about.

"Thank you so much." She hugged me again. I waved at her as she walked into the building.

Chapter Seventeen.

Standing outside my Lit cla.s.s I was s.h.i.+tting myself.

I couldn't bring myself to walk in, though I only had minutes before the cla.s.s began. The longer I waited, the worse it would be. I knew that. If I waited until everyone else had filtered in, then I might as well do cartwheels on the way in.

Where the h.e.l.l was Ara?

I had no way of knowing if she was inside already or not. Her phone was off, and I couldn't exactly take a peek inside. Taking a deep breath, I slipped through the door with the next crowd of people.

I purposely chose a seat toward the back of the cla.s.s. I saw Ara walk in, and scan the crown for me. Her eyes lit up when she spotted me. Charlie sat at the front, shuffling through some note. He looked up, his eyes meeting with mine for the briefest moment. Then he turned away. I saw the slightest smile playing on his lips.

Was he thinking about last night? Of course he was thinking about last night. I felt sick.

"Up the back? You never sit up the back." She said, confused. I flushed as she glanced at Charlie, realization hitting her face. "Oh."

"You could have arrived with more than five minutes to spare." I grumbled, annoyed at her, even though I had no reason to be.

"Excuse me?" Ara raised her eyebrows, "Just because you're doing the teacher, doesn't give you the right to take your embarra.s.sment out on me." I glanced around me, alarmed. Thankfully everyone seemed to be involved in their own little conversations and hadn't noticed ours.

"Okay, you're right. I'm sorry." I mumbled.

"Good." Ara replied, her chin raised. I forced myself to focus on the lecture slides. Every time Charlie looked in my direction, I felt Ara's smirk on me.

"Will you quit looking at me?" I nudged her playfully, as she rolled her eyes at me.

"It's so much fun watching you squirm every time he looks your way."

Cla.s.s was painfully long, every second dragging by. I was ready to make my escape as soon as it ended. Ducking behind a group of people, I followed them out of the theatre.

"Ms Delancy, can I have a moment of your time, please?" I winced. Just as I thought I'd made it, he'd caught me out.

"h.e.l.lo again. Fancy seeing you here." He quipped.

"Hi." I sat on the edge of his desk, trying my best to look s.e.xy, knowing it was well within my interests to keep him interested.

It was working. I could see the bulge in his pants growing.

"Are you working tonight?" He asked casually, shuffling papers on his desk.

I shook my head, "Not tonight. But I will be tomorrow."

He nodded slowly, now packing up his briefcase. Snapping it shut, he leaned his hands on his desk and leaned in to me. Millimeters away from my face, he looked me right in the eye. My heart began to pound at his proximity.

"Too bad. I was hoping to see you again tonight. I guess I'll have to wait." If he was trying to let me know he didn't like waiting, I understood. "There may be consequences for making me wait, Ms Delancy." His voice was low and husky, yet it ran through my veins like ice.

What did he mean, consequences?

Something told me I was going to find out. I wanted to point out he couldn't exactly punish me for having a night off, but something told me he didn't exactly listen to reason.

"See you tomorrow, professor." I let a small smile play on my lips as I backed out of the theatre.

My heart was racing as I walked quickly out to the parking lot.

Flirting with Charlie had all been to ensure he would be back, and while I was positive I'd be seeing him tomorrow, I wasn't exactly jumping for joy at the prospect. The more time I spent with him, the more he got under my skin. The worst thing was not being able to clearly categorize exactly how he made me feel.

Pulling out my phone, I switched it back on. It beeped. I had a message. I put it on hands free and played the message.

"Hi Kait, its Devon. Can you give me a call when you get this please? Thanks."

My heart began to pound again. Devon.

I'd managed to go two hours without thinking about him, and here he was again. I couldn't work out my feelings for this guy.

Wait, that wasn't true.

I knew exactly what my feelings for this guy were, what I couldn't work out were his feelings for me. No matter how much I convinced myself that I wasn't interested in him, every pa.s.sing moment I found myself doubting that.

Why did I care so much if I wasn't interested?

I was afraid to answer that question. I threw the phone in the foot well. Why the h.e.l.l should I call him back? f.u.c.k him.

If it was about mom, he'd find a way to talk to me. I was sick of playing his games.

At home, I had a quick shower and changed into my tracksuit pants and singlet. It had been ages since I had been for a run.

Another thing that didn't come naturally to me was metabolism. The amount of c.r.a.p I'd eaten in the last week I should have been exercising every day. Unfortunately, exercise and I weren't close friends, and sometimes, we didn't see eye to eye.

I was pulling on my runners, when the doorbell rang.

"You didn't respond to my messages."

I stared at Devon through the open door. He was dressed in his usual suit, and as per usual, he looked hot. Standing next to him was a woman, who looked in her twenties.

"Devon. Hi." I sighed, and moved aside, letting him squeeze past me. His hand brushed over my thigh as he walked in. I stifled a gasp at the feel of his touch. His eyes smiled at me, as if he knew the effect he had on me.

"Sorry, I just got home. I was going to call you back." I added, not completely sure that was true. He raised his eyebrows. He didn't believe me either.
