Excited to see what kind of interesting things high-cla.s.s merchant would sell in a different world, I was shocked frozen upon the discovery of objects with the potential to kill.
My shocked reaction was opposed by Sven's angry questioning,"This...I thought father agreed when he said he wasn't going to sell these kind of things. Did- Did he really break our promise?" Overcome with anger and confusion, the moment Boss appears and rushes over to mediate the situation, Sven blocks his path to bombard him with various questions.
"Dad! I thought you promised not to sell this kind of stuff?!"
"Sven. Get in the caravan." Boss seems to want to fix the situation with the aristocrat first, but Sven doesn't let up.
"How are we any better than the people starting the war for their own profit!? Sending soldiers off to die while they sit back and watch! Starting wars for the sake of territory and power! And what are we doing?! Giving them the supplies needed to act upon their greed!!" By the end of his rant, Sven, breathing heavily, stares into his fathers eyes unwaveringly, looking for an acceptable response.
Boss looks at his son with a tired expression,"Get in the caravan, we'll talk inside."
Sven looks like he's about to retort but looks around and realizes that this isn't the time or place for this conversation. Heavy footsteps drag him into the caravan.
Sven's words angered the aristocrat even more. Finding a new target, he starts cussing out the son and father pair, calling them lowly sc.u.m, nouveau riche, uncultured swine, etc.
It takes a couple of hours and a heavy discount before the aristocrat shuts up and lets them continue with unloading while he oversees on the side. Finally finished resolving the situation, Boss heads into the caravan to talk with Sven.
The moment Boss opens the cloth and gets inside the caravan, Sven with his head lowered murmurs,"you promised..."
