Magical Ties 86 Yona's First Nigh

"So Bro while it's quiet is there anything you want to know?" Astila looks up at the sky waiting for the million questions he must have.

"Well I'm trying to think of where to start. I am confused by a number of things. Let's start with why is she obsessed with closet's?" Looking at his siblings his curiosity has been getting the better of him. Ever since she mentioned them.

"I looked in the one in my room I saw nothing special about it." Salali starts laughing and stands up.

"That is because your looking in the wrong place. How would you like to us to show you?" He sees the excitement in his sisters face so he stand up and looks at his brother. Astila just looks at them.

"Out of everything you could ask you are wondering about the closets? Ok we will show you the one in your room."

They get up and head inside to his room. Salali walks over to the wall and looks back at him.

"It took me forever to find this . You ready to see something that even back home is rare to find?" Yona crosses his arms in annoyance waiting for her. She finds the latch and the wall opens up. She can see that he is surprised just by the fact that there is a hidden door. She slips inside and brings out the wedding clothes .

"Where did she get those, our people haven't worn this style of clothes for since the early 18th century. " he touches the deer hide and it's soft ,softer than he ever imagined. Looking at the bead work of the belts he can tell they are hand done. Looking at Astila with excitement wanting to explore more .

"Wait till you see my closet. There is something in here that your going to beg Aisling for ." He goes inside and brings out the hand made bow and arrows . Watching his brothers face light up was very satisfying. It's not very usual for him to get excited about anything. Yona loved antiquities and work, not much else. Yona handles the bow looking at the carvings. He recognized a symbol looking at Astila.

"Why is E-qua Wya mark here? Where did these things come from?"

Aisling walks in and hears him ask.

"Have a seat I will tell you. Those things came from my ancestors. You see your Enisi and Mine we're twins. Unole married your Enisi Woya , he was the medicine man during the trail of tears. E-qua Wya was my enisi's son. Who became my great great grandmother's father. At the end of the trail of tears Woya was very pregnant and extremely ill. She had Pneumonia and delivered to early. Inside the closet is a small stone box. Inside that box is a pouch of dried herbs . You will find oregano,eucalyptus ,peppermint and fenugreek. E-qua Wya saved them when she was recovered. " watching his expression closely to see what he will say.

"How do you know all of this ? With as old as the herbs are they would be all but dust now. " Aisling looks at Astila and Salali she hasn't tried to use magic since returning. Morrigan told her that she would keep her magic along with her memories. Salali looks at her and nods it ok . So Aisling closes her eyes and does the glamour spell. Yona sits on the bed speechless.

"What are you, what have you done to my family? His yelling can be heard through the entire house. When Steve hears him yelling he and Jin run into the room. There standing beside Astila is a beautiful native woman.

"Young man why are you bellowing in someone else's home. You better not let Aisling hear you. She hates yelling. "

Yona looks at him as if he has grown a second head.

"That is Aisling did you not know she could do that.? Your her uncle how could you not know?" His anger is starting to over flow so Aisling changes back in front of all.

"Yona , Uncle Steve let me explain please. You see in order for me to save Woya I had to look like a native. That way no your line could survive. "She has done nothing to be ashamed of. If she had not done what she did we would not have been born. I know your family is against her using the gift . I know some actually hate her for it. I always thought you loved her unconditionally. Even the reverend accepted her after he saw her change. I'm taking my wife to bed. If anyone cannot love and accept her as she is then get out and don't come back. " with that he takes Aisling to their room to calm her.

"Baby it's not good for out little ones for you to be upset. Please quit crying." He holds her close rocking her like a child. There is a soft knock at the door. It's Aisling's uncle.

"Son I was angry not because of her using her gift. I was shocked yes but not angry I was angry because your brother was yelling at my baby girl. We have always had mixed feelings about her gift. It's because we don't want her hurt and because we don't want her soul to become corrupted. We always knew she was special but if we had let her use her gift she would have become an outcast. She is too loving for that. We know she is at times conflicted with being a Christian at heart and having a gift that goes against that. Don't you ever say to me again that I do not love my baby. Yona is hearing Aisling's uncle put Astila in his place . Thinking about the stories of his Enisi he should have had a more open mind about things.

"Astila,Aisling I'm sorry. I was in shock and I had always been skeptical about the stories. Please forgive me . I'm afraid except for a few superst.i.tions I am far to logical. I understand now why my brother is so over the moon for you. Now I have one question to ask . You don't do this all the time right?" Aisling sniffles and starts to laugh.

"Hmm I will always stand with my brother but we will need to do it soon or have to wait till after the twins are born. " Astila smiles to himself at how things are turning out.
