Magical Ties 68 Aisling's Journey 7

The woman on the bed slips out carefully as to not wake Aisling . She peeks outside of her dwelling to see if her sister is close by. She is cuddling her newborn nephew by the fire outside. She calls to her ,when she turns to see who is calling. A bright smile of happiness that lights up her entire face forms. She gets up quickly and comes to her sisters dwelling with the baby. She sees Aisling sleeping. Noticing her sisters confusion she sits her down to explain while nursing the newborn.

"She is Nunnehi , she can change her appearance to look like us . She shows her true self when sleeping. She has taken such good care of you to save you and the baby. She brought with her Uktena crystal for your husband to use to protect our tribe ."

She speaks softly and reverently about Aisling as if she is an angel. Aisling begins to stir lifting her head, looking at the empty spot beside her. She sits straight up confused as to where the woman went. Quickly saying the glamour spell thinking she would need to leave the dwelling. She hears a gasp from the woman she has been attending.

"Woya are you ok? Do you feel like it's hard to breathe or hot? " she is speaking quickly and nervously to Inola's great gran. Wanting to make sure that the medicine she gave her was working. Looking at her she sees that the woman seems to be very startled by her. Seeing this Aisling lowers her head as if to say sorry to her. Woya hands her child to her sister. Standing up she walk over to Aisling . Kneeling down beside her she bows to her in thanksgiving. Aisling puts her arms around the woman and begins to cry with relief thanking G.o.d for healing her. They are still hugging when Waya peaks in.

"Do not worry aunt she is of my blood ,she means no harm. She is Unelanuhi she carries the sun within her. " he smiles brightly at Aisling tells his mother that uncle is looking for Aisling. Aisling nods and gets up to follow him to his uncles dwelling.

Once there the medicine man has a unique green and white stone sitting in the center of four crystals . One crystal is black ,one blue, one clear, one red with the Uktena crystal in the center siting on the green and white stone.

"When we were forced from our home ;our crystal's were taken from us. I was able to hide the blue and red crystals from the solders. The black and clear ones are the ones you brought along with the Uktena. It is not me to whom you need to return them to, but it is my duty to show you how to use them. The pendent you must wear for protection at all times. Especially when using the Uktena. " he gets up and places the pendent around her neck. She feels the warmth coming from it's clear star center.

"You will see both past and future in the visions. They may not be completely clear as to what you will need to do . Some things you will figure out instinctively when the time is right. "He begins with burning sage to cleanse the area and activate the crystals. Then followed by burning sweet gra.s.s. He places dried cannabis in the fire to fill the dwelling. The crystals begin to emit a soft hum and glow. Aisling looks into the center of the Uktena crystal; along the colored vein there she begins to see the horned snake moving inside. Almost like being hypnotized. She sees the web of the past connecting her with her ancestors. She sees the family lines from the tree in the book. Along with the tree of her Cherokee family. The roots are drawn towards each other as a magnet. A third tree appears from a branch on the Cherokee tree. It's Astila's tree, it's roots interwoven with hers. Inside of the earth is a celtic trinity knot and a seven point star. They are linked by the Uktena stone with the horned snake wrapped around both. The snake lowers its head then lifts it back up as if it is nodding to her. It's green eyes glowing. It speaks to her

"Child of prophecy you have changed the tide of the tribe. When they are back in their land you will return me to my place . Until then I will protect you from the evil that threatens your line. I will guide you to a faraway place and time . To where the heart shattered you will mend. These connections will not fade they will remain for it is a fated reward you have gained. Do not fear her for she is made of hate your love will be her cure. Do not become disheartened for she will see your sincerity and faith. " with that the snake closed it's eyes and Aisling was back with the others. She looks at Inola and stands taking his hand along with the medicine mans.

" it is time to go back I know what I am to do. I also know that I am to return him to the land from which he came. So that means when Astila and I marry in the Cherokee land , I will return him there not here." Looking at the medicine man she nods to him in grat.i.tude . For showing her the proper way to use the crystals given to her. He places the crystals and stones back into the leather pouch along with the dried herbs. When he hands it to her, the pendent begins to glow taking Inola's hand they are back with Moll at the old house. Moll comes out but not looking like the old woman from before. She is younger with just slightly grey hair threading through her long reddish brown hair. She is much more womanly then before as if she has aged backwards. Smiling happily she waves at them .

"Don't worry child you return to the correct time . I promised him I would show him my true self when he returned. " her eyes flirting with Inola as she did a little spin to see what he thinks. He chuckles as he puts his arms around her. Breathing in her scent wanting nothing more than to bury himself in her. How is it his soulmate is from another time. Moll kisses his cheek and then taps his nose playfully.

"Sweetheart we are soulmates and we will meet in your time soon. You will know me instantly as long as they succeed. Do not worry it's been promised. Just like my darling child will have the opportunity to be reunited with Onacona in her lifetime. Not as a spirit either. Go now back through the doorway and prepare for what is to come. We will meet again I promise." She gives Inola one more kiss and then embraces Aisling. Whispering to her.

"Remember you are of three strong blood lines witch , shaman and Christian. Your magic comes from the melding of the three your faith and love of G.o.d is what binds them and it will be what sees you through . You are not an ordinary child of the almighty for he has blessed you with the most ancient gifts. Use them for his will and do not stray from your purpose. " letting her go she walks over to the wall and opens the doorway back to Aisling's house. There sitting in the chair playing a game of chess is her uncle and Astila. They notice the doorway is open and stand to greet them. Aisling and Inola gather what they need and return to their own time.
