Eyisha doing what she did wasn't a generous act, it just meant everyone else had to pick up her slack in the long run.
If she thought about it, she knew she'd come to this conclusion quite easily, she was educated by the finest scholars, the calculation was simple.
And it wasn't out of any good will on her part, she was just using it to make her feel better about all she was doing these past few days. Everyone else might've seen the sweat and smile on her and thought that this was truly a kind princess.
But not Myr, she'd been with her since she was a child. And no matter what she would complain, Myr would always see right through her and call her out on it, but not like this. She did it again, but this time she was tired of her bullsh#%
Now she was truly alone. Before, she had Myr, Chora, Guru and even Kitsi who she could to a certain extent call her friend. But she'd lost them slowly and surely these past few weeks, thing was she really had no one to blame but herself.

"You okay?" Chora asked.
Myr has just stopped by a child and helped her up.
"I'm fine." Myr said.
He held her shoulder.
"I'm fine!"
He hugged her from behind, finally shutting her up. Tears trickling down her
"You know... you both respond to me the same whenever I talk to you guys." Chora talked as sweetly as he could with his gruff voice.
"You're just saying that..." Myr whispered, her voice weak.
"No... really, you give me answer once, then knowing I don't listen, you scream it a second time." He smiled, looking at his face she chuckled.
"Do you think we can really do this?" Myr asked, wiping her eyes.
"I don't know... but this time, we have too many problems to deal with..." he said as he looked at the ma.s.sive wall behind them.
A few gold cla.s.ses popped out from the veterans besides Chora and Myr, they were able to carry two at a time and do three times as many trips but they also needed to rest.
And the higher the cla.s.s, the longer the rest. It wasn't usually like this, gold cla.s.s would usually absorbed world energy much faster than silver, silver usually surpa.s.sed bronze and so on and so forth. But it wasn't a problem with the plug, it was a problem with the source.
Right now the world energy was at an all time low around them. Even if they were capable of doing it, there wasn't enough to go around. Additionally, their capacity was bigger which meant that at the same speed of recharging, they would take much longer than those below them to reach full capacity.
Just as Chora pondered about this problem, a big carriage was moving in their direction...

Gasp!
Guru awoke with a start. Above him, Chora and Myr stared at him with curiosity.
As an old man, not being able to move at all, he naturally ended up sleeping. Looking around him he noticed that the rest were still under the influence of whatever Zhao Wei put on them.
If he knew that his dosage was almost 3 times higher than the rest, who knew if he'd be proud or p.i.s.sed off.
"Wait!! How long have I been out? How far has the serpent broken through?" Guru asked in panic.
"Well... we don't know how long you've been out, but it's been around 4-5 hours since the evacuation signal was released." Myr answered, "As for Jormugandr, it hasn't breached the walls yet at this point which is a relief... we aren't even done moving 10% of the people up..."
"What's taking so long!!" Guru shouted at them. The boy had stalled the serpent longer than he had hoped to do, every second the serpent hadn't entered was another second he was sure the kid was alive out there drawing it's attention. In terms of simply holding it back, the kid was doing much better than he could do if he was there to help so he might as well help with evacuations before going to take the kid away.
Stepping outside, he looked at the messy state of affairs. "Chora! Call everyone who can work!"
Looking at the n.o.bles and their guards who were lifting some of their belongings he reiterated his prior words, "and I mean everyone!!"
It didn't take long until every guard, police and warrior regardless from which family or group were called together at the bottom of the wall in several places where there were a lot of jutting rocks or growth.
Plans were drawn for the men to be set at points where there was something they could curl themselves around.
They would hold this position and would then use the left over length of their tails to bridge the gaps between each hold and allow that person to pull the person below up. The stronger ones would cover the bigger gaps, becoming like stepping stones for several people to climb up at a time.
Chora and Myr weren't part of the group though, they had more important things to do. Standing on top of the wall with several other gold cla.s.s, they were quite nervous as something whistled in the air towards them. It grew louder and seemed to multiply as well as time pa.s.sed, after another second pa.s.sed they braced themselves to jump.
As they did they raised their hands and in it, a pale person would suddenly appear as if out of thin air. Behind them the other gold cla.s.s also grouped up to catch another two people.
Down below people were trying to avoid Guru like a plague. Anytime he'd catch anyone he'd throw them up at a ridiculous speed. Some of them even attempted to throw up mid air, the key word being attempt. As when they opened their mouth to spew the vomit, the air resistance from going at such a speed would push it back down their throats.
After about 2 hours they were going about it much faster, helping almost 30% of them move up there. But suddenly they heard a large thump near the entrance of the kingdom.
They knew... it was coming.
