She wanted to refute their claims, but she had nothing to counter with. And they were out for blood, if she didn't first let Zhao Wei go down, they would pin it on her as the distribution was put under her authority. She couldn't save them both right now, not if she was taken into trial, but maybe if she had time, she could save him later on.
A knock on her door rang out which she urgently opened to find Kitsi. "Did you find him?" she asked worriedly.
"Yes" Kitsi replied.
"Where is he now?" her brows creased, why wasn't he with her?
"In hiding." she answered.
"No!! you should've brought him here." she blurted which made Kitsi turn pale. She wanted to turn him in to make her case stronger.
"Princess, they tried to kill him without warning, if we turned him in who knows what they'll do to him inside!" She plead.
"I'm sorry Kitsi, my hands are tied, right now we can barely take care of ourselves, much less him. I understand you and him have become quite close these past few days but I hope you won't forget about your duty," she spoke coldly.
"Princess I would never!.." Kitsi said as she bowed.
"Good" Eyisha turned to move to her desk.
"Do you know where he's hiding?" she asked.
"No milady, we split up near here but he said he would get in touch later on when he was sure it was safe to come out." Kitsi answered.
"Um," Eyisha nodded, "Leave me."
"Yes milady" Kitsi picked herself up and strode away.
As the doors closed, Eyisha sighed as she plopped in her chair, visibly exhausted. "Sorry Kitsi" she spoke softly.
"Follow her" she spoke as she rubbed her temples, "If you see the boy capture him."
A shadow behind her stirred, "You don't trust your own aid?" a gruff voice whispered in her ear.
"No, I believe in her loyalty, but the heart is a fickle thing." She spoke to the seemingly empty room.
"The boy was trained by Guru and I saw him beat Kitsi even before that, she would even give even me a little trouble if she knew I was coming, I'm not sure I can just subdue and capture him, after all I'm not a guard." The voice spoke.
"Do what you must." A cold glint flashed across Eyisha's eyes for the first time in a while. "Even if we turned him in he won't last a night anyway."
"Un." A cloaked figure appeared without warning and moved to exit.
"Just..." She stopped the figure in his tracks, "Don't let her find out."
As the figure contemplated the order, it craned it's head towards the door, disappearing and appearing in front of it in a split second before blowing it open, there was no one there.
"You sensed something?" Eyisha asked.
"No, just a precaution," the figure shrugged before leaving.
Around the corner from the door, Kitsi was holding her mouth with both hands, doing as best she can to stifle her breath. Tears streamed down her face, she'd come back as she was conflicted about not telling Eyisha where Zhao Wei was, it was her duty and she was just about to enter the room when she heard Eyisha speaking to the figure.
That was a blood child. She'd only heard of them in stories before and never really thought they were real. The story goes that orphans of war were taken by an organisation and trained in the art of killing ever since, it was far beyond any other training as it ignored their right to live. Out of a batch there was an 80% death rate leaving usually less than 5 people, all loyal to the king and died when he died. A new batch would be trained as soon as the first royal child was born and the survivors to serve the king out of all of them.
This one had been with them the whole time, even when they were outside and Kitsi never noticed a thing. This one was left to Eyisha by her father since all the rest of her family would be going to war, to protect her and serve her until he came back. She definitely needed to warn Zhao Wei, but at the same time she was afraid that if she went to meet him it would directly lead it to him as well, and she'd never see it coming before it was too late.
She could only pray that he was as good at hiding as he was at fighting.

"What the h.e.l.l are you doing here in the middle of the night and what the h.e.l.l is that!?" Jeff the noodle store owner exclaimed at the appearance of a giant six wheeled vehicle right outside his shack.
"I need a place to hide, some people want my life." Zhao Wei explained.
"Who?"
"The council members"
"Which one?"
"Ummm.... probably all of them. Except Guru... maybe, I haven't talked to him yet."
Jeff looked a him annoyed before trying to close the door, "Good night."
