The most dangerous right now was definitely the captain with dual blades as he would be the most effective with his Tantra which was the silver type. His acid like Tantra would be effective against tanks with thick armors but against Zhao Wei who always used furry beast hides for clothing instead of armored ones it was quite a waste.
There was another silver ones, two purple ones and one which was a pinkish hue, probably an impure Tantra. Most of them covered their weapons except the one whose trident Zhao Wei took earlier on, but for some reason he didn't cover his hands or his tail which were the striking points but his abdomen.
Zhao Wei actually praised the guy for his ingenuity in his mind. He considered that Zhao Wei would probably clock him at some point instead of getting hit which meant that there was no point to putting it on his striking points which Zhao Wei would just dodge, instead he put it around where Zhao Wei was likely to land his blow so that his poison type Tantra would effect Zhao Wei in exchange for it. And it might've worked too, if Zhao Wei couldn't see the Tantra like everyone else.
The fact that he covered his head all the time and left his body open was also a dead giveaway for the trap he'd set even if Zhao Wei couldn't see it. Zhao Wei activated his Tantra on his palms, making them exceptionally thin and weak as he didn't know what his Tantra could do, he'd never hit Guru once since he activated it.
He hadn't killed a single one of them as he considered that something might be up and these guys were just following orders, if he used too much and accidentally killed them with his Tantra wouldn't that be too cruel?
A dual blade user came first, a scimitar wielded on his left and on his right the last trident wielder stabbed forward so that Zhao Wei couldn't dodge there. This was the effectiveness of ranks, Zhao Wei thought as his teammates were sort of creating a straight path for him to move and just attack Zhao Wei.
It would've caused him quite some trouble in the past, but for some time now he'd been continuously sparring against a speed demon everyday and the movement of dual blades which were much faster than other weapons might as well have been slow motion to him.
His hand reached into the proximity of the swings of the blades. But they stopped just inches of cutting his hands as his palms had caught the hands holding them and flicking them open, leaving the body completely open. In the next second Zhao Wei landed three strikes in succession, stomach, chest, chin. Closing the fiat to hit the chin after he saw the effects of his palm strikes on the body of the attacker. Spiral marks appeared where his Tantra connected, no doubt doing immense internal damage.
The other two on the sides swung their tails in the middle towards him above the falling body of their comrade, but a flash of light cake from their fallen comrades abdomen which released a series of tentacles that wrapped both their tails together. Zhao Wei considered that the guy's body shouldn't be hurt too bad if he activated a Wrap Trap on it since it was reinforced by Tantra.
He jumped up, kicking on both his left and right directly catching both a.s.sailants on the chin and threw a fist between the arms of the weaponless guy. There was absolutely no way to miss since the guy was just defending and not moving at all.
At this moment the captain tried to cut at him right when his momentum was the weakest, it wasn't a problem to Zhao Wei just a little troublesome he thought. But before he could knock him out, the captain's whole body was repelled, a black shadow that even Zhao Wei couldn't see clearly had b.u.mped him away.
His body was propelled through several buildings, knocking Naga sized holes through 8 or 9 walls. The inhabitants of said buildings peeked their head out from inside first turning to the Naga captain who flew by, his body embedded into the 10th wall not able to completely burst through it. Then they turned to Zhao Wei who raised his hands to signal his innocence.
He turned to see what hit the captain only to find Panda sitting calmly on the floor. Wiping his eyes he checked again to only be met with the same visuals. Turning back to the inhabitants he could only give an awkward laugh before he bent down, picked Panda up by the armpits and ran away before their surprise turned to anger.
Zhao Wei could only pray for the captain's soul as he couldn't make sure if the hit killed him or not. "He's probably fine, he's probably fine... it'd be really sad if he died like a looney tunes character [1]... nope... he's probably fine..." he kept chanting to himself.
