My Perverse Equivalent Exchange System In Doomsday 31 Last Day Of Peace

Zhang Yong's body skidded and rolled like a pebble on the the gravel floor. Thanks to his endurance, he did not suffer much external injuries. His internals, however, was another story.

There was only silence amongst his group of lackeys, as they watch him lay sprawled on the ground. They seriously could not believe what they just saw.

Zhang Yong, who they acknowledged as the strongest existence in Nanjing city, was defeated just like that. It was just too big of a shock for them.

When their boss first revealed his power, they all believed that he was truly blessed by the G.o.ds. After all, he was able to perform miraculous feats that humans were incapable of.

They saw him lift thousands of kilograms of weight with one hand, and crack the concrete walls with one punch. Even the most skeptical person would have their mindset of normality overturned, if they witnessed those feats.

Long Yu approached the fallen Zhang Yong, who was moaning in pain. After checking his condition with the system, it was revealed that he had a fractured sternum and multiple broken ribs.

Long Yu was not surprised at the damage he caused. Although he had put quite a bit of force into his kick, he made sure not to kill the man. He had taken into calculation of the boss's mutated physique.

Despite Zhang Yong being a criminal, Long Yu did not feel like he had the right to take the man's life.

Was it because he had not taken the boss as a threat in the first place? Or was he simply uncomfortable with the act of killing? He, himself was not clear on that either.

Even though Long Yu knew that he would probably have to stain his hands with the death of others during doomsday, he did not wish to do so at the moment.

Besides, it would be a problem if the cops were to track him down for killing someone.

Shaking off the complicated emotion welling within him, Long Yu turned towards one of the lackeys.

"Hand me your phone," he said while stretching out his hand.

The lackey was precisely the blonde spiky haired youngster, who tried to antagonise Long Yu at the start.

Right now, he really wanted to slap himself for offending the young man in front of him.

Seeing the frown on Long Yu's face, he quickly took out his phone and carefully handed it to him.

Moments later, Long Yu could be seen dialling three numbers into the phone.

"h.e.l.lo, yes, I would like to report an incident…Ah yes, a criminal known as Zhang Yong can be found at x.x.xXX. He is currently badly injured, so please send an ambulance over as well." He calmly reported to the operator on the line.

"By the way, his group of underlings are also here. That's right... they have decided to repent and turn themselves in," Long Yu continued while staring at Zhang Yong's lackeys, whose faces looked as if they just swallowed dog p.o.o.p.

After finis.h.i.+ng the call, he threw the phone back to the youngster.

"You guys quietly wait here and accompany your boss. I won't be staying, but that doesn't mean you should run either, otherwise.…" Long Yu left a last warning before getting into his car.

Whilst driving back to the hotel, he reflected on the incident that just happened.

His nano-machine exoskeleton armor performed better than expected. To be able to take down a mutated human, albeit not a fully awakened one, with just a kick, was impressive.

He was not worried about Zhang Yong posing a threat to him in the future. That man would be lucky if he could get off his bed in a month's time.

Moreover, he might not even survive past a few days. With the rate of people turning into zombies during doomsday, there was no guarantee Zhang Yong could peacefully stay in his bed.

As for his lackeys? Long Yu did not care if they escape or not. He merely tried to scare them into turning themselves in to the cops. If they really ran away, so be it. It was not his problem.

'System, how long do I have left?' he asked the system for the remaining hours of peace that humanity has left.

'So it'll start around tomorrow morning huh….' mused Long Yu.

At least that would reduce the number of people out on the streets, which can be considered as good news.

Since Long Yu felt that there was not much else to prepare, he decided to enjoy the remaining day together with Xixi.

After picking her up at the hotel, they went to visit the new indoor theme park that recently opened in Nanjing city. It turned out to be an enjoyable experience for Long Yu, since it was his first time visiting one.

They went on rollercoasters, water rides and also played many games. When night came, Xixi reluctantly left the theme park with Long Yu.

It was late already, and they were feeling hungry. As expected, the little girl demanded to eat steak, so they went to a place that was famous for its barbeque meat.

Fortunately, Xixi did not mind eating her vegetables as well, so Long Yu did not have to worry about her having an unhealthy diet.

After their meal, they went back to the hotel, took their respective baths and went to bed. Long Yu knew that tomorrow was going to be a busy and intense day. He couldn't help but feel a mix of fear and excitement within him.
