Although it has only been a few days since Sorcha woke up, the doctor said that she can already leave the hospital today.

"You should be fine now." The doctor said. "Normally I wouldn't let patients that have undergone a major operation like you to get discharged after just a few days. It usually takes a few weeks or even a month before they leave the hospital. Though it doesn't count as a miracle, it still sure is a wonder how you could recover really fast." He added.

Aria hummed in agreement. She encountered a lot of soldiers with injuries like that of Sorcha back in the military. If it were just some minor gunshot wounds, then the patient should be fine after some treatment and get released soon. But if the patient's organs were hit, then that's a different story.

"You don't have to come back here to get your st.i.tches removed. It will dissolve itself in time. Although I said that you recover really fast, don't try your luck too much. You still aren't a hundred percent recovered. Remember to avoid strenuous activities for a while, and maintain a proper diet." The doctor paused and then said dryly, "So, that's it. Be more careful in the future."

"Baby, let's go." Aria said. "Oh right, do you have any request for our food tonight? I'm sure you're tired of the bland foods here."

"Your mouth is really getting sweeter and sweeter huh." Aria chided her playfully.

"But I'm telling the truth." Sorcha said while looking at her mother seriously. "Everything you cook is delicious."

"Hehe. That's why mommy loves you. Then I'll just cook more dishes later. By the way, your friends have been calling and were asking about you. They said that they didn't get a chance to visit you because of the exams."

With that, Sorcha was reminded that she wasn't able to finish all her exam. She only managed to take two, before the incident happened.

"About that, you don't have to worry. I had a talk with your teachers and they allowed to give you an exception. You'll take your tests in a different time. You should be able to pa.s.s them easily. I'm not pressuring you or anything, I just know that those exams doesn't pose a challenge for you."

"Of course." Sorcha cheekily grin.

"That's my girl." Aria laughed at her daughter's arrogance.

Though, Sorcha's arrogance isn't really unfounded. Those exams actually don't pose a challenge to her anymore. Granted that, most of the teachings in her school now are newly introduced to her, it is still basically like a university student answering elementary questions. Who can blame her for her over confidence? She didn't live for more than two decades in her past life for nothing, right?
