The Naga Dungeon 11 Miss Marinna

A week has pa.s.sed since Edward moved in with his new guardian Tanya. He obtained an official identification card. Due to the fear from losing his Uncle he has been going to sleep ever night in Tanya's arms. Something Tanya doesn't mind since he is only a child and will grow out of it and since her place is small and only has one bed.

Now that he is settled in, Tanya has set up for Edward to go to school since living with his Uncle on the move he has never gone. Edward is happy because a systematic education is what he need to fit in. At first Edward was worried about growing to fast as his dungeon got stronger but he later found out the level is the max age he can appear not the age he has to appear so he can slowly grow up in Riviera even with his dungeon growing stronger.

Riviera has a few schools but with Tanya the guard captain as his new foster mother he was enrolled in the best school in the city. Edward was excited for his first day of school. Tanya had bought him new clothes for school and he was all dressed up for school. He showed off before Tanya and she thought he looked amazing like a little prince. Before he left he made sure to give Tanya a kiss on the cheek something that made her very happy but she wasn't sure why.

Leaving behind a blus.h.i.+ng Tanya, Edward headed to his first day of school. It took a while to walk to school but Edward didn't mind as his stats where much higher then most kids. On his way to school there was so much to see Edward used his Mana Sight to see it all. His Avatar has a large mana pool but as a kid he couldn't use it so he didn't mind playing with it like this. His dungeon and Avatar have different mana pools but when in the dungeon he can use both but out here he only has the Avatars to use.

When he was almost at school he stopped because his Mana Sight picked up a woman being dragged into a back ally out of sight but not out of his Mana Sight range. Edward went into the ally after them keeping to the shadows since he didn't need his eyes to see and he know where they couldn't see him. He pulled out a small crossbow from his ring and loaded it and waited to see what was going on.

??? " Miss Marinna why do we have to do this you should have just accepted your place as our young masters pet."

Edward noticed that the woman was tall and thin and had long blonde hair. But what was most interesting where her fox ears poking thru her hair and her long fox tail coming out of her dress. With his Mana Sight he could see they where real. Tanya had told him beast people where welcome in Riviera but he hadn't seen many. He also noticed the name Marinna because Tanya told him that was his teachers name.

Several of the men had ropes and where about to kidnap his new teacher so Edward decided to intervene. First he shot the leader in the knee with his crossbow and throw a smoke bomb in to the group of thugs and using his Mana Sight he ran into the smoke with his dagger drawn. He grabbed Miss Marinna's hand and pulled her away cutting anyone that got to close in the smoke. Once out of the smoke he ran back to the crowded street where the thugs couldn't fallow.

Stopping to catch his breath on the street he looked at his new teacher who was looking at him in grat.i.tude. Other then looking scared and a little dirty from being dragged on the ground she looked fine with no injures. Most likely because they didn't want to damage there young masters new pet.

Miss Marinna "Thank you for saving me i don't know what they would have done to me if you hadn't saved me."

Edward "No problem Miss Marinna I was happy I could help. It would be bad if I lost my new teacher on the first day."

Miss Marinna "New Teacher? Oh you must be Edward, I have heard of you. I don't know how you found me but I'm glad you did."

Edward "I grow up mostly in the wild so I noticed something strange going on and went to check it and found you."

Miss Marinna "Free Beast Men are allowed in the city of Riviera but they can still be enslaved and no one will stand up to the big family's if they do it but it is still wrong. I wish I could walk the streets without worry but as long as I'm free I'll never be truly safe."

Edward "My foster mom is Tanya the Guard Captain and if I become your master all I want is you to teach me well. And we can make the contract for 4 years as that's how long I'll be your student."

Miss Marinna was taken aback by Edward's offer but no matter how she looked at it it was a good deal for her. She figured he was only offering because he was a child and didn't know any better but the deal he offered was hard to refuse.

Miss Marinna "Will you really only make it a 4 year contract?"

Edward "Of course we can make it part of the oath."

Miss Marinna "OK if it's part of the oath I'll accept it."

Edward "What is your whole name for the oath?"

Miss Marinna "I am Marinna Toka former member of the mountain fox clan."

Edward "I Edward claim Miss Marinna Toka as my servant for the next 4 years if she is willing."

Miss Marinna "I Marinna Toka willingly accept Edward as my master for the next 4 years."
