The Naga Dungeon 12 First Day Of School

Edward managed to barely make it to school on time. Lucky being new he had the excuse of having to find his way. After arriving Miss Marinna had to go freshen up and adjust her collar before cla.s.s. After entering cla.s.s, Edward noticed the cla.s.s was small only 20 kids.

What was disappointing was only 5 of them where girls. The guys could be labeled as rich sn.o.bs and the weaklings that followed them. It was kind of impressive if you consider they are all under 10 years old and already have underlings.

Among the 5 girls, 3 where standing beside or behind some of the rich guys. The other two where the ones that had Edwards attention. One was like a proud princess but stood to the side with no one around her and no underlings. The other was a cute girl that was all alone in the corner. What was interesting with her was she had cat ears and a tail.

After entering Edward went to introduce himself to the cat girl. Edward put on him best smile and the cat girl started blus.h.i.+ng before he even started talking.

Edward "Hi I'm Edward. I just started today. What is your name?"

Edward took Amanda's hand bowed and kissed the back of it.

After that Edward talked to Amanda some more, she didn't say much but he didn't mind. The other students where waiting on him to come to then and introduce himself but he paid them no attention.

Not long after Miss Marinna came in and started cla.s.s. Edward introduced himself to the cla.s.s and chose a seat by Amanda.

Miss Marinna "Since we have a new student we will go back over the basics. We live in Riviera a mid size trading hub near the border on the River District of the Jiaolong Kingdom. On the other side of the swamp is the Vermilion Kingdoms Outer District. Luckily the swamp is almost unpa.s.sable so we are safe from war here."

Miss Marinna "Here in Riviera most of our income comes from trade by the port. The rest is fis.h.i.+ng as almost no one will go to the swamp for herbs or game as you never know what you will find. Most people in the swamps are criminals. As long as you stay in the city you should be fine."

Edward noticed how she s.h.i.+vered as she said should and know she must be thinking of earlier. After that she went into the grades for all living things that start at G for those that cant defend themselves and go up as they get stronger going to F then E, D, C, B, A. Above that are the S ranks going S, SS, and SSS.

Edward remembered he was a Grade G in the beginning and when he got monsters he moved up to F and after his first 20 floors where done he moved to E where he is now. He also learned of the Item grading scale that goes Inferior, Normal, Rare, Unique, Ancient, Legendary and Phantasmal. Now he knows where the Ancient in his core description and his cla.s.s comes from.

Another thing Miss Marinna mentioned was money apparently it is more complex then Edward thought. It goes Bronze, Iron, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Mythril with 100 of one kind equaling 1 of the next. Edwards new mom makes a silver as the captain of the guard.

After cla.s.s Edward continued to talk to Amanda as some of his cla.s.smates gave him dirty looks. Edward ignored them and talked to Amanda who was slowly talking back more and more.
