Ned for one thing, liked that the place was quite and isolated, and once they reached the top of the mountain where the castle was, he was able to see all the city below, and even the royal castle surrounded by the guilds.

There were two guards inside by the gates. And once Ned, Alaster and Lori pa.s.sed them they went to a nearby house and entered it.

And since he didn't understand what they did or were doing he didn't bother thinking about it too much.

The place was lively and full of greenery. And Ned thought that it was refres.h.i.+ng to breath the clean air in here.

"Lori I'll go show young Ned his room. while you go put your things in place" Alaster said with a smile on his grandfatherly face.

"Okay" She replied before she skipped away.

Ned followed the old man around as he gave a tour of the place. Before they climbed the stairs toward the rooms.

He showed him his room, and it was huge with a bathroom, bedroom, and a resting room with a couch and small table.

There were 8 such rooms like this on this floor, and with the old man taking the one at the further end of the hallway, Lori took the one to the right of the old man.

While Ned took the one directly opposing the old man, meaning it was at the other end of the hallway. But he didn't mind it anyways.

Entering his room, he didn't bother putting anything in, besides some clothes that he will be wearing. He placed them in the wardrobe.

Since he had not trained in ages he decided to tell the old man that he'll be training alone for today.

Getting out of his room he saw the old man order some maids, that he didn't even know were her, but he guessed a castle this big would need people to take care of it.

He went near the old man to talk to him, but the old man spoke first saying, "young Ned we wouldn't be training today. So you can just rest for the rest for the rest of the day"

"I was thinking of training my magic for a bit. And I wanted to ask if there was someplace where n.o.body can spy on me" Ned said, and the old man of course knew that he wasn't talking about him or Lori but rather somebody else that could spy on him.

"Okay, then follow me." Alaster said. As he started walking towards the stairs taking down.

Once on the first floor -that Ned knew knew was left for the servants, and for any guests visiting- the old man went to the back of the stairs and muttered "Open" while holding a red gem in his hands that glowed when he talked.

And from it appeared stairs leading to an underground floor.

"This gem is used as a sort of key to either open or close the hidden stairs. Here you can take it, I have a spare one back in my study" The old man said as he pa.s.sed the gem to Ned.

Ned took it and spoke "close" after which the stairs closed and then he headed for this underground place.

There were many rooms there but each one had a plate with words written on it.

He went inside the one who said training. And scanned it.

Once he read that he finally relaxed. However unlike what he thought, the mysterious woman even from high up in the sky was watching him with interest in her mesmerizing eyes.

Now he wanted to train the new types of magic he had got.

Since the healing magic would require someone to be hurt, and he wasn't about to hurt himself for it, so he couldn't train it currently.

But the water magic and ice magic were possible to train, and he had a hunch that he needed to train them.

He had the physique elemental body, and he guessed that someday he would have all elements, but it was possible that the requirements to unlock new elements, was to master the current ones.

And as he had already mastered fire magic and earth magic with it's variant crystal magic he knew he was on the road to find out.

But although he mastered them, it meant that he was in full control in using the right amount of mana. But he still needed to learn many spells.

So far only wind, water, and ice were the ones that he needed to be able to fully control.

He noticed that, when he in the first time turned his hands into fire element, the sword even if fire proof had slipped pa.s.sed his hands like it was real fire, but once he mastered it he was able to hold his sword.

Besides earth, the same happened for the wind element. He needed to be able to turn his hands into it and still hold his sword.

This way n.o.body would notice that he was able to use magic without a chant, and he can take them by surprise.

With these thoughts he started mastering the water magic, a magic he knew he had to fully master in order to master the much more dangerous ice magic.

He would practice one type of magic until he master it. And he started with water magic.

And that was all he practiced the whole day. And besides the time when he went to eat, he spent the rest of the day holed up in there training, and he wasn't afraid that he'll be tired to train with yulias tomorrow, as one night in the s.p.a.ce would rejuvenate him.

Once he was done with training it was already night and dinner time had pa.s.sed, he went upstairs and found someone had left him a snack to eat. He guessed that it was Lori.

She had probably waited for him until she just went to sleep. And he felt bad for this and so decided to leave a bit of time of the day for the both of them to relax together.

He went to sleep in the s.p.a.ce after eating, to replenish his mana.

Once the morning came, the old man knocked on his room door, and Ned heard Emmy warn him to get out of the s.p.a.ce.

Once he got out he opened the door, and said that he'll wash his face before he comes downstairs.

Once ready, he headed to the training field that was at the back of the castle. He was ready to train in the art of the sword.
