Using the combination moves and different avoidance techniques was completely different when fighting two enemies at the same time face to face than fighting one alone. He had to be cognizant of so many more variables and risk factors, it significantly increased the challenge.
Despite the increased challenge he had no real problems fighting them. Certainly, if he was to make a big mistake it would result in serious injury but that wasn't likely to happen at this point.
As the Kulga in front of him lunged forward the one behind him tried to antic.i.p.ate the direction he was going to jump to avoid his attack. If it timed its counter attack right and guessed Akers trajectory he would finally be able to deal a decisive blow.

Aker and the two Kulga had been fighting like this for almost 10 minutes as the crowd was cheering and hollering in the background. When the crowd had first heard that he was going to fight 15 Kulga almost everyone bet against the boy again.
The odds were a more reasonable 5 to 1 so almost no one took a chance on the boy.
He was able to make the first 11 Kulga submit and was forced to kill two of them, which left the remaining two.
Doing exactly the opposite of what the two Kulga thought Aker used a blocking move for the first time sweeping the head of the Kulga to the side and attacking its body in three different locations swiftly while being sure not to kill it.
Upon feeling its blood drop to the floor, the Kulga had finally had enough, stepped back and put its head down.
The second Kulga seeing that it was now a one on one fight instantly stepped back and put its head down.
With that the fight was complete. Akers fight started about 15 minutes before midnight and lasted roughly 20-30 minutes so he was tired and ready to leave the arena.
Following Aker's successful battle, he as normal began to walk back towards the doors that led out of the arena. Even with only 5 to 1 odds there were roughly about 10% of the crowd that had still bet on Aker so they were cheering madly for him as he walked out.
As Aker began leaving guards came out into the arena blocking the path. Just as Aker thought they were here for him, they quickly collected up the Kulga forcing them to leave the arena and carrying away the dead ones.
Aker watched all of this happen with a confused and surprised look on his face. It wasn't just him but it was the crowd as well. In all of the years here they had never witnessed a scene like this.
Just then the announcer came in over the loud speaker...."My, my, what a lucky crowd we have had for the last few days. They have gotten to see so many first. First the youngest fighter in the history of The Pit. First the highest odds against a fighter ever in The Pit and now the first ever back to back fight in The Pit.....hahahahah...hahahahaha.....how lucky we all are to watch so many first..."
The crowd was going wild at this point. Some in the crowd couldn't help but wonder what he meant by back to back fight, isn't that against the rules?
While some were thinking about it others began voicing it out. While everyone here were not good people there were certain rules that were absolutes within The Pit.
Because of the rules Aker was disappointed but he had nowhere to complain. When he came in and saw he was fighting against Kulga he couldn't help but be disappointed as based on his a.s.sumptions they wouldn't offer much if any points towards leveling.
The problem as heard from Vance was that the jump from the Kulga beast to the next beast was considered a huge jump and the rules of The Pit didn't allow for it. The rules dictated that the fighters must be of equal standing or as close as possible. Since his first fight was against what is considered "barely a beast" he had a long, long way to go before he could move on to something other than Kulga.
For the next little bit, he would be fighting against Kulga until he had proved that he was at the same level as the beast that would follow the Kulga. The biggest problem was that they could not have him move on to the next level until he demonstrated strength at that level...which is basically impossible while fighting the Kulga, hence Aker was stuck fighting while not gaining any points.
"For those out there who are screaming about the rules.... we at The Pit literally live and die by the rules.... if everyone would look at the time, they would notice that a new day has begun. We have checked the rules and verified that the rules only state that a fighter is restricted to one fight a day. Fortunately for all of you it doesn't say anything about back to back fights over two different days....hahahahaha.....so everyone forget about all of that and hurry and get your bets in. You have to check with the attendants but I heard that the odds on the boy are back up to 100 to 1. Can he pull out another miracle? Can you bet big and win a fortune? Now's your one and only chance.... who knows if The Pit will offer odds like this again?"
The crowd went crazy hearing the odds on the boy were 100 to 1 again. The last time over 90% of all betters bet against Aker when the odds were 500 to 1 and the ones who bet on Aker would probably never have to work again.
So many in the crowd couldn't help but lick their lips at the thought of collecting at a 100 to 1 rate. As they started contemplating the 100 to 1 odds and began to be overcome with excitement someone in the crowd finally brought everyone back to reality.
"Why would they offer such crazy odds on the second fight when the first fight was only 5 to 1 odds? Isn't he tired from the fight he just finished? Didn't he just fight 15 beasts at the same time? Even if he beat them easily, he still fought out there for over 20 hard minutes. I can't imagine they will be having him fight a Dark Wolf or Long-Haired Monkey so I would guess they will still be sending the Kulga out. If so, how many Kulga will they be sending at him? Has to be at least 15 but since he just proved he could defeat 15 should be 20 or more. As everyone knows one Dark Wolf or Long-Haired Monkey is about as strong as 50 Kulga so it shouldn't be more than 25 or half of the strength of those fellows. Can he really beat that many after such a long fight?"
The man rubbed his chin as he spoke as if though he was an amazing intellectual and his words were the foundation of brilliance. His long grey beard and big eyes gave credence to the thought that he was an intellectual and knew what he was talking about.
As the crowd listened, the excitement they had before began to wane until there was none left. They couldn't help but think 'that's right the odds went up because he's not expected to survive. They knew he would survive the last fight that's why the odds were only 1 to 5. Almost no one bet on the kid and he ended up winning. This time everyone is excited with that 100 to 1 odds but they don't expect him to survive this fight.'
"Thanks so much, I nearly made a huge mistake. I was going to bet everything I had on the boy at 100 to 1 odds, I was almost blinded by my own greed." Someone in the crowd said to the intellectual who calmed everyone's nerves down earlier and brought them back to reality.
"Yes..yes...thank you so much, you have truly saved me...of course your words make perfect sense. I will bet against the kid...I can't go wrong if I'm betting with The Pit. Sure, they lost a few times on this kid, but now they've had enough time to plan it all out...there shouldn't be any problems this time."
As more people spoke more people came to the same conclusion. They had to bet against the boy. Quickly around the crowd bets flooded against Aker.
Aker who was standing in the arena just listened as person after person spoke about him and his impending doom. As the crowd spoke the smile on his face grew larger and larger.
'Hahahahaha.....I can't wait to see your faces and to hear your cries when you realize you've lost again. I don't know if I will ever get bored of hearing your wails and cries but at least for now, in my pitiful life it is maybe my greatest joy.'
Aker thought to himself as he listened to the a.n.a.lysis of the geniuses within the crowd. It's like they forgot that he just handled those 15 Kulga so easily before their eyes. No... it's not that they forgot it's that they just can't believe that Aker can defeat the 15 Kulga and then turn around and beat whatever they throw at him again.
"Alright all bets are now closed.... for those that bet for the boy to lose I think your guess was probably right. Since he was able to defeat 15 Kulga in the previous fight it proves he is ready to fight even more Kulga. Right now, we of The Pit feel that he should be at a level where he can fight a beast at half the level of a Magical Beast. Since there is no such thing as a half Magical Beast, we have decided to raise the amount of Kulga to 25. Will this vile child finally pay for his sins...? let's watch and enjoy....hahahahaha....
Aker only smiled as the 25 Kulga came running out of the gate and he couldn't help but think, 'So a Magical Beast is the next level huh...Why can't they just send one out now? Why do I have to keep fighting all of these Kulga? Well at least I get to practice against these Kulga until they start sending out Magical Beast.'
"There is no way that boy is going to survive this time. Once he is dead all of you idiots will have to listen to me." One Eyed spoke out to the room and no one in particular.
After Akers last fight he had to beg for His Majesty the King to give him another chance. When he had first walked in and The King had seen him the King yelled out for One Eyed to be taken to The Pits immediately.
When One Eye heard the king's words, he thought he was going to pa.s.s out. Thankfully he was able to keep himself together and called out to The King letting him know he had a plan.
As he was being dragged away One Eyed detailed his plan to The King. Just before he was torn out of the room and forever sentenced to the dest.i.tute that is The Pit his Majesty had instructed the guards to wait.
One Eye continued explaining his plan. His plan was multifaceted in that he would set up a much more difficult fight for the boy with almost even odds at just before midnight. The boy would fight and tire himself out and then they would immediately schedule an even more difficult fight for after midnight with high odds.
In this plan everyone would bet for the boy's death and they would clean up. Then with the higher odds everyone would bet for the boy to win and they would recover all of the money they lost yesterday and make a huge fortune.
Due to having to fight back to back fights that were heavily stacked against him there was no way the boy could survive.
The King of The Underground upon hearing One Eye's plan let him go and told him to get it situated.
So as One Eye watched the boy defeat the 15 Kulga from the first fight it had almost all gone according to plan. The only exception was someone had made a huge bet on the boy's victory but even with that loss The Pit had made a nice profit. Now all that was needed was the second part of the plan to go as expected, and One Eye could see everything just falling into place nice and neat.
One Eye looked around the room at everyone who was in the Luxury Box as they stared at him with disdain. There wasn't a single person in the room who wasn't eyeballing One Eye as if though he was the greatest idiot the universe had ever seen.
One Eye was so p.i.s.sed off looking around the room at all the scornful looks.
"You b.a.s.t.a.r.ds...wait until that boy dies today, I'll have all of you begging on your knees!" One Eye smirked to himself, with such a genius plan how could he not look forward to everyone begging on their knees.
Sneed had just won the bet after Aker defeated those 15 Kulga resulting in him making five times his bet. Sneed had taken every cent he won on yesterday's fight and bet it here again today. Now he was hearing that this poor boy was going to have to fight again. He couldn't help but frown at the misery of this child.
Sneed had returned home to check on his daughter and was overjoyed at the news that she was recovering quickly. The doctors said that she may even get up and move around in a week or two. Now if only he could do something about his daughter's savior, he would feel like his life was complete.
Hearing that they were offering 100 to 1 odds against the boy, Sneed understood that the boy was going to be in for a fight. He had just finished fighting for almost thirty minutes and now he would have to turn around without any rest and fight in a more grueling fight.
At this point Sneed had already won enough to pay for his daughters cure many times over. He had won 15,000,000 on his 30,000 franar bet with those 500 to 1 odds. He then turned around and bet the entire 15,000,000 in the last fight. As of the last fight he had now won 75,000,000 franar. Sneed had already decided that as long as the boy lived and fought, he would always come and bet on him no matter what he was facing.
As Sneed went to place the bet for 75,000,000 franar he was called up to the Luxury Box that had One Eye and all of the others in it.
Seeing Sneed walk in One Eye was so excited he could barely contain himself.
"Welcome, welcome...come take a seat. I hear that want to place a rather large bet on the boy to win...hahahaha....hahahaha....so how much would you like to bet?"
One Eye was beside himself with joy hearing that this sucker was going to put a huge bet on the boy to win. His plan was working perfectly and he had drawn in the big fish...No, the whale.
What One Eye failed to realize was that Sneed had made his incredible fortune in only a couple of fights by simply betting on Aker the entire time.
"Yes, I want to place a bet for 75,000,000 franar on the boy to win.... I have a good feeling about it. With one hundred to one odds it's hard to not want to take the risk...hahahaha..hahahaha..." Sneed was trying to act like this was an everyday occurrence for him.
"One Eye, I don't think we should take this bet, if something were to hap..."
"Shut up! When I want your opinion, I will tell you what it is, until then I'm in charge. The boy is going to die and you want me to leave that much money just sitting there?" One Eye fired back at the guy who had leaned and whispered to him. He was trying to tell One Eye that it was dangerous to accept that much of a bet with 100 to 1 odds. If they were to lose it would be devastating.
It wasn't like they couldn't pay if they lost.... if they were to accept the bet it would become public. Because the underground empire is a criminal empire or at least its foundations were built on it the people are very suspicious when it comes to public betting.
Any time a bet goes over 20,000,000 it has to be disclosed to all people on the visual screen of the arena. Once they accept the bet over 100,000 people and 200,000 eye b.a.l.l.s would see it. There was no way to renege on the bet and they would be forced to pay it out.
Sneed had been standing there silently waiting for conformation of his bet. What did he care if he won or lost?
Sure 75,000,000 franar was an unimaginable amount of money. He could already be considered rich beyond reason at the 75,000,000 he had already won, but so what? Wasn't it just from betting on his daughter's savior? Sneed had long ago committed to serving the boy in the future and this money would basically all belong to the boy any ways. If Aker dies and Sneed lost it all it could be considered the end of their fate together. If he won then he would spare no expense to serve Aker.
"Of course, of course we would be more than happy to take your bet." One Eye replied with a gigantic smile on his face. His excitement from the fact that he was going to kill the boy, collect a fortune from all the suckers down in the arena and the king of suckers had personally visited him giving him a fortune.
"Good....Then 75,000,000 for the boy to win!" Sneed called out.
