Hearing his words, w.a.n.g Ping smiles from ear to ear. He speaks to other generals loudly, “If only I could have such a good son!”

The others all look at Heaven. How stupid the boy is! They think. Why not kneel down and acknowledge the Marquis as his adoptive father, then all of his property will be his! Some wink at Heaven secretly because of eagerness, and some even anxious to kick him, but Heaven pretends not to see them. You know nothing - a son-in-law is nearly half a son! His two daughters will both be mine, so there is no need for me to acknowledge him as my adoptive father!

Seeing that Heaven has no response, w.a.n.g Ping is quite disappointed. He picks his carry-on sword off and reaches out to Heaven, “Take my beloved treasure away. I'm a man of my word.”

“You lost! Hurray!” The two girls exclaim, high-fiving each other.

w.a.n.g Ping stares at them. Alas, daughters and dead fish are no keeping wares! Now they have already been biased towards an outsider!

“OK, stop jabbering! Now I have an announcement to make, I’m having a son! Hha!” The Marquis burst out laughing. As a father having no son, he considers his son-in-law as his own son.

“You are looking for another wife? And you have already got a son?” asks Ruyan sadly.

“Do you forget our mum? Humph, I will no longer speak to you! Sis, let’s go!” Ruyu shows more anger.

“Eh-hem! What are you saying? Do you think I’m that kind of man?” A blush appears on the Marquis’s aged face.

The sisters look questioningly at their father, then Ruyu seems to realize something. “Oh, I got it. You must have taken a fancy to some fool and adopted him!”

“Hum, that’s my thought, not his.” w.a.n.g Ping purses his lips.

“Huh, who can be so audacious? I’ll fix him!” says Ruyu angrily.

“Ruyu, you can’t say that! You will be familiar with him in the future!” Deliberately, w.a.n.g Ping glances at his elder daughter. From his perspective, Heaven will soon become Ruyu’s brother-in-law, so of course, they will be familiar!

“No matter who he is, I won’t call him brother!” Ruyu loses her temper.
