"I don't know what you want to do, but I'm probably just going to go through the rest of father longs stuff. I went through it quickly before I left his mansion, but this time I'm looking for anything that could be useful in The Azure Sea Division."

"I don't know. I'll just go through it and maybe I'll find something interesting."

His spirit essences which were all in the top fifty, were used for trivial things like this. If The Jin Clan, or any other powerful clan, would've seen this, they'd probably trip backwards from the shock.

After a few hours he finally finished. Then he decided to prepare lunch and surprise his dear sister, Tian Xin.

He prepared lunch and packed it all into a basket. He wanted to surprise his sister with a picnic.

When he finished packing he entered the other world which Tian Xin was training in. It didn't take him long to find her. She was sitting cross-legged on a purple cloud in the sky, silently cultivating.

Xiao Huoyan just silently flew over to her while hiding his presence. He didn't want to disturb her, so he decided to sit and wait on another cloud. He would wait until she decided to take a break.

He waited for almost three hours, yet she didn't show any signs of taking a break soon.

Xiao Huoyan was very patient, so he didn't really mind waiting for so long, but he felt it to be plain stupid of him to just wait there while doing nothing, so he took out a scroll from his storage bracelet.

It was a written explanation of how to begin meditating and cultivate. He quickly memorised the contents of the scroll, then he put it down and closed his eyes.

He sowed down his breathing and cleared his mind completely. At first, he felt as if he'd fall asleep, but after a while he began to feel as if streams of energies was entering his body from all directions.

According to the scroll left to him, by his father Long, it was called 'The energies between heaven and earth'.

Depending on the spirit essence of the cultivator, the energies of a certain element would be easier to absorb than others.

Most people could only absorb the energies related to the element matching their spirit essence, but some other people could absorb two different types of energies. Those were the people with dual essence. Some of the extremely gifted individuals with dual essence  could even absorb three different types of energies, but Xiao Huoyan was different. He could take out a part of every spirit essence he had and place it as a sphere around him. A sphere that could merge the different types of energies into a completely new one which only he could absorb.
