Lying down on a large bed, Magna groaned as threads of light pierced his eyes. Trying to sit up, Magna suddenly froze as his body twitched in pain before forcing him back onto the bed.

He noticed that he was covered from head to toes in bandages. Curious about how long he's been out, Magna loudly said, "h.e.l.lo? Anyone there?"

As he waited in bed, Magna broke into a cold sweat as the sound of a stampede bellowed from outside. The room slightly shook as rapidly approaching foot steps echoed out as Magna started to regret ever opening his mouth.

His regret quickly disappeared and was replaced by guilt when he saw the faces of those who just barged into the room.

Argo and Luna had red eyes as they appeared haggard and worried. Emerald hid behind Emily, peaking at him from behind her with concern in her eyes. Joshua smiled happily seeing Magna finally awake.

The one who actually affected Magna the most was his mother, Emily. She had some bandages around her face while a large gashed was slightly visible just below the area the bandages covered. Magna grit his teeth as his anger started to flare up.

Before he could act on it, Emily had already walked over and brought his head to her chest in a gentle embrace. He strangely instantly calmed down as he rested his head against his mother, reminding them that Magna was still a young boy.

Due to the exploits they learned of from living with Magna and the twins, Joshua and Emily unconsciously started to treat him differently. They didn't stop treating him like a child but a.s.sumed he was mature enough to handle himself.

Emily softly smiled while running her hands through his hair with love and affection. After a couple seconds, she stopped patting him as she asked, "Magna, how are you feeling right now? Is there anywhere thats still painful?"

Still resting peacefully on her lap, Magna had a content smile as he happily murmured, "No… I'm fine…"

Almost everyone there took unexpected damage as Magna's small gestures and expressions looked absolutely adorable, especially when compared to how he usually acts.

Argo and Luna had huddled up with Emerald as they silently vowed to protect that smile. Joshua honestly felt like picking up his son and hugging him but the thought completely disappeared when he saw Emily's face which screamed, 'Ruin this moment and I'll divorce you here and now.'

After she finished glaring at Joshua, Emily turned towards Magna as she softly patted his head. Magna was currently acting like the human equivalent of a small animal that invokes the desire to cuddle and protect.

Suddenly, the door to the living room flew open as a man wearing a grey cloak waltzed in. Glaring at Magna, Qrow took a short drink from a silver flask before saying, "Sorry to ruin the 'family moment' but we need to talk."

Magna's face twisted in rage as he shot from his mother's embrace and towards Qrow.

With a small sigh, Qrow rushed forward and easily disarmed Magna, slamming him on to the ground. Magna's body was healing but he only had a small amount of aura in his body and was in no condition to fight against Qrow.

Clenching his fists tight, Magna tried to struggle in his grasp as he squeezed out the words, "What. Do. You. Want."

Seeing that Magna tried to struggle, Qrow tightened his grip slightly as he said, "Look kid, I know this looks bad but I need you to calm down and listen."

Ignoring the concerned voices of his family, Magna released a couple more deep breaths as he roughly said, "Say what you want to say then f.u.c.k off!"

His voice surprised everyone as it was starting to resemble the voice he had when he was in his tailed beast form. Luckily, the only thing that had manifested was the voice or else Qrow might of actual hurt him.

Frowning, Qrow took a long sigh before bluntly saying, "I'm gonna need you to accompany me back to Vale."

Magna's rage flared for a second before spitting out two words, "NO! WAY!"

"I'm sorry to say this but you don't have a choice. By law, anyone who has awakened their semblance has to start attending the Hunter academy of their country." Qrow harshly said.

Magna was stunned when he heard the law. Since when was this a law created? Just as he was falling deeper into thought, the voice of his mother woke him up as she roared, "WHAT THE h.e.l.l DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING TO MY BABY BOY, QROW!?!"

Before anyone could react, Emily suddenly appeared before Qrow with a face twisted in rage. He tried to explan himself but couldn't speak a single word as Emily's heel connected with his cheek.

Magna and Joshua visibly shuddered at the crisp crunching sound that was followed by the wails of Qrow as he was drill into a nearby wall.

Emily stood before Magna, like a mother bird protecting their young. Her chest heaved up and down in anger as she creepily said, "You sure have some b.a.l.l.s, Qrow. After all these years, your still the same old hard-headed jacka.s.s from before."

Pulling himself from the wall, Qrow rolled his eyes at Emily as he sarcastically said, "Oh, if it isn't Miss Emily, one of Jimmy's presumably 'Dead' subordinates." Then, his eyes found their way to Joshua as he continued, "And who do we have here? Joshua? Yet another person presumably 'dead'."

Before Emily and Joshua shuddered when they heard Qrow mention Jimmy. The both of them were once soldiers in the army that General Ironwood controlled. If it wasn't for a certain event many years ago, the husband and wife might of still been working for him, never meeting each other and never giving birth to Magna and his baby sister, Sophia.

Ask the conservation came to a stand still, a wave of malice flooded the room as Magna's eyes glowed a fierce crimson as he glared at Qrow.

"Qrow, it'd be in your best interest to not antagonise my parents. Or else I'll tear your body apart and dance on your corpse."

Magna's cold voice and fiery eyes gave everyone the feeling of being stuck in a swamp. Yet Qrow easily shook off the feeling as he frowned and said, "Is that a threat, brat? As you are now, I could easily-"

Before he could finish, a sickening feeling covered Qrow's body as the malice inside Magna's aura exploded outwards. Qrow felt as if he was standing before a huge monster that only need to let out a sigh to kill him.

He quickly tackled Magna down on the ground and held him in place using his full strength as he quickly said, "This is exactly why you need to attend the Hunter school! You can't control your emotions! You need to learn how to control yourself or else your nothing more than a volcano, waiting to erupt and destroy everything in your surroundings."

Magna ignored the pain of his muscles tearing and healing in an infinite loop as he roared, "f.u.c.k YOU!!!"

Even as Qrow used all the strength he could muster to hold Magna in place, Magna grit his teeth and forcefully struggled to free himself while his body was tearing itself apart. His arms hard a dark shade of purple while blood flow down the corner of his mouth.

Seeing the state Magna was coming to, Qrow became irritated as he growled, "You asked for this kid!"

His aura flared up and quickly covered his body. Like a bolt of lightning, Qrow's hand hit Magna on the neck, directly knocking him out even though he just awoke from being unconscious.
