"Yes, sir!" Lie replied as he brought the box that containing many weapons.
"Hurry up! There is still a lot of equipment you have to deliver!"
Lie is too annoyed to answer Don's orders. He immediately ran towards the place where the troops' equipment was collected. Then he returned to deliver the next supply.
'It's tiring,' he thought.
Although he grumbled in his heart, Lie could only surrender to the blacksmith order.
When he thought that the task was finished, the next job was waiting for him.
"Hey Pee Buck prepare the water for the horses at there," asked one of the Official Staff.
"Again?"
"Quickly do it!"
"Yes, sir!"
He immediately approached thirty horses that tied to the stake.
Every few horses have a drinking bucket they use together. Lie must take the water from a river which is approximately one kilometer away with another servant and fill the bucket until it's full. In total there are nine buckets.
'It takes five times to go back and forth to the river to fill one bucket. Each bucket is handled by one servant. It's ... tiring! ' he muttered to himself.
He also had to move sandbags used for training purposes. Replace the broken one with a new one. The sacks are easily damaged because they are used as targets for arrows, swords, like a punching bag.
Lie give a rests to his body with his hands on both knees to take a breath.
"Lie, come on. There's still another work we have to do," Tony said.
"What? More work? Can we take a break first? I'm not used to doing this much of work," Lie complained.
"We have to bury horse dump s.h.i.+t so that the smell doesn't bother anyone," Tony answered.
"What? Apparently, there are really exist? A job like this ?!"
"It's cool after this is done, then it will be our turn to eat," Tony tried to motivate his new partner.
"Eat after cleaning horse dung? Euh ..."
As a former helper on a military plane, Lie thought his work would not make him too tired like this. There is a small but quite a difference effectiveness from what he did in the past.
"They don't pay too much attention to the Engineering Skill as a supporting supply distribution," Lie muttered while chewing his food in the supply area.
"Hee? What's wrong Lie?" asked Tony, who was also eating his food.
"Ah no. I muttered to myself," Lie replied, "Oh yeah, by the way, can you use magic?" he continued curiously.
"Of course. I can use a few spells of fire," Tony answered while opening his palm, "Agnia," he said.
A fireball with the size of a hand grip appeared in Tony's palm.
Lie felt that he might be able to use magic, maybe in a different way. He still can't accept if he can't use it. An idea appeared on his head. However, he must confirm several things first.
"Umm ... Tony, what is Mana? Is there more detailed information about Mana?"
"Mana, is the energy that exists in this nature. In Every place," Tony answered.
"Is there a Mana in our body?"
"Yes. It is mixed with our energy too. Included in the food we eat. I don't really understand but, there was a theory said about a room in our body which is filled with Mana and from that place, we process it into magic."
"If you run out of Mana, is there a certain way to fill it? For example by shouting while clenching both hands, and the Mana will be sucked into you?"
"Lie ... I don't understand what you mean. But, Mana will naturally fill up if we rest. I've never heard of an instant Mana filling method."
"Isn't there supposed to be a herbal juice called Mana Potions that can be used to fill Mana?"
"Lie ... I don't understand what you mean. Are you all right?" Tony answered with a serious face.
'Tch. This person started acting like an NPC 'muttered Lie in his heart.
(*NPC : Non-Playable Character in Video Game)
"Yes, forget about my strange chatter. Let's eat and continue the work after this," Lie closed the conversation and finished eating.
Lie already expected that magic is a knowledge that has many levels. Not all levels can be given to everyone. Lie has such thoughts, because the knowledge system in eath, for example in martial arts, has different details and understanding according to the level of the pract.i.tioner's belt.
'If my theory is correct I should be able to do that,' he thought.
"Hey, new servant. Your job here is complete. Now you go to the blue tent there," a blue-haired girl who looked beautiful and adorable spoke to Lie.
'd.a.m.n it. It turns out that the girl who talks to me was this b.i.t.c.h,' Lie swore after realizing that the one who talking now was Rint, the girl who beat him in the duel yesterday.
"Eh? Seriously? Lie will become the servant of that person?" Tony was shocked until his soup bowl dropped.
"What? Why? Who? What happened to that person?" Lie panicked after watch Tony's reaction.
"There is no one who manages to become his servant for a long time. Anyone ... who becomes his underlings always runs away. Or give up. Or... you better meet him soon. That person is quite strict with the time," Tony answered.
With a tense face, Lie immediately nodded. He cleared the food and then went to the place.
While pa.s.sing Rint, he hears a whisper,
"Please forgive the behavior of those who have urinated on you. They did it, because there were certain reasons," said the blue-haired girl.
"No," Lie answered while running to the blue tent.
***
"Fifty seconds late," said a man with a face that looked bad mood.
"S-sorry sir," Lie bowed his head, hoping that the person who would become the Boss did not get angry.
'I have been skilled in bowing head like a pig. Lifelong experience of being a helper on Earth is useful. After all, how come he able to calculated my departure time to this place 'said Lie in his mind.
"I calculated Rint's time when I ask her to see you, and how long the time when you moved from where you ate to this place. You must be doing a useless chat rather than immediately go to this tent, right?" the man guessed.
'This man is sharp. It's almost, he can read everything,' Lie think.
That man is Yuristo. The Deputy Commander of Cross Guard. Then that person takes one of the books on his desk.
"Forget my question. Stand in front of the tent door. Keep an eye on if someone comes, don't let them enter if I don't allow it. Don't talk. Don't move. Except until I allow it," continued Yuristo without looking at Lie.
Lie obeys the commands. He felt strange, why many people were running away from a.s.signments like this? This is one of an ordinary job as a guard, isn't? Even though his current status is a servant.
"Hmm. Then, I will continue. I feel like, I found a new love when I see you," Yuristo talk with a lowered tone.
"Sir? For your information, I'm not into it. I am straight," Lie answering nervously.
"I not talking to you, d.a.m.n it. This is the phrase from the novel that I reading right now!"
Lie feels like an idiot. He stands while hearing a cheesy phrase from a romance novel that Yuristo p.r.o.nounced. His stomach start to ached, he just wanna puke.
"Okay. I hope you will never told anyone about your story, understand?" The sound from people on his back still roamed.
Then, the room becomes silent.
"Hey idiot! I'm talking to you right now!" said Yuristo in an angered tone.
"Huh? What?"
"About your world, b.u.mi, don't ever tell anyone about that."
"okay. But, why?"
Ignoring the question, Yuristo read the another book with enough sound to be heard, a constant volume, it's sound like a murmur in obscure language. This makes Lie's mind saturate, slowly his eyes become heavy, and he begins to sleep.
"Don't fall asleep!" Yuristo snapped.
Throughout the day, Lie withstood tremendous drowsiness while guarding Yuristo's tent front door.
This is one of the torments if you become subordinate of the deputy commander. Not because of difficult a.s.signments or other things. It's because... that person is, too weird.

That night, in a tent the servant's dorm. Lie, lying on the same bed with a number of another servant. His eyes still open, then he walked out of the tent.
'I have to do it right now, so I can understand what it really is Mana. I have to do this experiment myself,' he thought.
He went to the training ground to prove his theory. Then, our first Mana cultivation begins.
