The forest was filled with roars and cries which only acted as motivators for the desperate nomads which were currently burying themselves underground as they felt it would be safer than on land. As they dug underground, they had discovered eight young rabbits which would Yizar had ordered to keep away from harm.

The eight rabbits would be captured and raised into stronger ones over time and then they could harvest them for better cores! These rabbits, however, were also mutated and although they were young, it was very difficult to tie them up without suffering some injuries.

"G.o.ddammit, these stupid rabbits messed up my arms!" Gerald snarled.

"Calm down, the rabbits are more valuable than your limbs right now, suffer temporarily, we will gain more from them later..." Yizar was currently setting up a campfire with Tauren while the others dug around to create some more s.p.a.ce.

Oken had told them to mix water, soil and crushed stone powder and cover the walls with them to strengthen them. His position was lowered to that of a cripple because he couldn't walk after suffering a powerful smack from the boar but his group allowed him to stay in charge.

Meanwhile, Tara and two others had just returned from the surface with various herbs, water, and some berries.

"Tara, did you recognize any of the herbs to be of medical use?" Oken called out with curiosity.

"All of the herbs and plants I found inside that stupid forest were so different from anything I had ever seen... I collected a few with the other two and managed to collect a bit."

"How about the threats?" Yizar asked this time as he still feared the creatures on the surface.

"There weren't any, but we did he some roars some distance away from us... should we be concerned about them?"

"No, don't even think about investigating them, let's focus on building up a defense and then we can worry about them," he said in a commanding tone but Tara didn't mind, he had to be the oldest out of all of them and the most experienced member would logically take leaders.h.i.+p, "I am not planning to remain here for long, this dimension is far too dangerous."

The others had nodded their heads in approval but then returned to what they were doing previously and Yizar had decided to go explore the surface a bit more. The hole was extremely vulnerable to attack and it was definitely not a good idea to stay in there without some sort of a wall put up around the entrance.

He didn't go out too far but to get a good idea of the surrounding area, he climbed up on one of the bigger trees without a problem. However, when he reached the top he was absolutely shocked, it wasn't just a dimension, it was a barrier to s.h.i.+eld them from what was actually going on outside in the real world!

A large mutated creature with a hawks body and a dragon's head was currently shattering a whole dimension! It was self-destructing its core which was pouring out waves of essence around the world, mutating everything in it!

Yizar was extremely terrified, even though he knew that the ma.s.sive beast was going to die soon and the dimension along with it, it was frightening to see something of this level after living a relatively unaffected life!

He tried gulping but he ended up choking on his saliva, his heart was racing rapidly and his body quivering. He descended down the tree and rushed back to the hole which fortunately was a short distance away from where he was.

Tara and Oken were having a small chat and were interrupted by Yizar running into the hole with his eyes almost popping out of their sockets and his face frighteningly pale!

"Yizar, what is it?!" Tara called out to him and was also shaking due to the uncertainty, however, he did not respond straight away and tried calming himself down before he spoke, "Come on Yizar, spill, what did you see?!"

"It... it was a... it was a huge beast, the size of thousands of beasts, no millions of beasts stacked on top of each other! It is devouring the dimension that we lived in previously!" he shouted with his body still shuddering after what he saw.

"What was it?!" Oken yelled in surprised.

"A dragon with a hawk's body!"

"Doesn't that mean that we are in the real world?!" Tara asked, her body now trembling even more, similarly to the rest of the nomads in the room that had dropped whatever they were doing.

"Not yet I think? The world we are living in now is a temporary dimension to protect us from whatever that beast is!" When Yizar finished explaining, a loud terrifying exploding sound echoed throughout the skies.

----------------

"Wolf, listen to me, you must calm down!" Zaro suddenly stopped his rampage after hearing the same voice calming him down for the tenth time.

The voice had eventually got to him and he was quite surprised as if he had heard it for the first time, "Who are you?!" his voice roared causing the creatures which were previously retreating slowly to begin running away.

"Complete the stage and acquire one of my treasures before it is too late! The dimension is about to collapse and with it all life inside."

"What?!" Zaro yelled out and then looked at the path ahead of him, noticing that he was much closer than before and on it many terrified creatures that were being teleported away one by one.

"You don't have much time, run!" the voice called out once again but this time, Zaro started heading towards the end of the path with all he had. He was completely out of energy but suddenly his body was infused with an extremely high-quality essence and he shot forward as if he was at his peak or better!

"I can make it!" he yelled out and his body was breaking through hordes of creatures that tried to stop him but to no avail as he was simply too fast!

Within five minutes, Zaro had run at least ten kilometers and was nearing the end of the pathway which had cracks appearing on it from time to time as if it was about to crumble.

"I will teleport you out soon wolf... you have the potential of becoming a heavenly being and thus I will grant you some of my treasures." The voice spoke out once again but Zaro could vaguely hear some stress within it.

He made his final leap and entered the seventh stage, which was more of a reward room based on how many beast souls you had collected. However, once he entered the voice had told him that he had could choose three treasures freely because he was forced out of the dimension and that it was about to explode.

Zaro walked through a hallway with an array of boulders lined up evenly with items on top of them and signs wedged inside the boulders offering a description of the item. The items themselves were very interesting, some having properties that could boost his current essence amount threefold, some able to maximize his potential growth as well as plants, books, cores and even some odd looking pills.

After taking a look at most of the items, he quickly made his decision and called out to the voice was he wanted, "Thousand Heart Pill, Demoness' Enchanted Darkness Pill, and the Empowered Sapphire Core!"

The voice called out to him once again but he didn't understand what it was telling him and shortly after he was teleported into another dimension. Portal traveling was very interesting, however, his portal was transparent!

That is when he noticed the blurred image of the ma.s.sive beast crus.h.i.+ng the b.e.a.s.t.i.a.l dimension with its core. Before he could see any more of what was happening, a white light flashed and he appeared inside another forest and his body suddenly felt weird?
