Beast God 60 Defeating The Zombies

Shortly after the message appeared, his 5 generals found him.

"James see if any of the survivors were sent here." Ben said solemnly.

James nodded his head and turned to leave-

[City 07 has fallen. Survivors will be sent to random cities.]

The message appeared again, causing everyone's mood to plummet. Ben's face darkened, turning to James he said, "Go."

James left, leaving the other four generals and Ben standing there.

"Get the troops ready. We are finis.h.i.+ng this today." Ben said coldly as he glared at the zombies.

The generals all left with serious expressions on their faces. Ava flew over and landed next to Ben.

'You are going to try and kill the king, aren't you?'

"Yes. Killing him will win this battle." Ben replied.

'You know he will be heavily protected and difficult to get to right?'

"That's why I have a mighty dragon, a n.o.ble phoenix and a vicious wolf to help me out." Ben turned to her with a smile.

Takon let out a light growl in response, eager to fight again while Ava just shook her head.

Shortly after, the soldiers were ready to fight again.

Ben's voice filled the entire city as he spoke, "Two cities has fallen. There is nothing we can do about this. BUT! This should not fill us with despair! This should cause us to fight harder! We will not fall! We will not lose! We will win! I will lead you onto the battlefield and onto victory! Will you follow me!?"

AARRRRRGGGGGHHH!

An entire city yelled out in response, willing to follow their City Lord.

On the city wall, Ben released his large black wings, giving him a majestic appearance. Ava stood on his right while Takon on his left, both of the spread their wings and shot fire in the air, showing their strength.

This riled up the soldiers even more, letting out war cries and beating their fist against their armour.

"Today we defeat the zombies! Today we protect our families! Today we stand against those alien b.a.s.t.a.r.ds who did this to us!" Ben yelled with pa.s.sion.

The gates opened and the soldiers charged, leading them were the rangers on wolves and Shenelle riding her green snake and Colton on his bear.

Ben and his soul beasts jumped from the wall and followed him as he flew towards the king and his guards. Large spears shot at them as they flew toward the back of the army. The three of them split up as they used evasive maneuvers to evade the spears. A few spells were also shot out from the few remaining mages the zombies had.

Ben was the fastest and charged head first into the zombie lines, sending zombies flying through sheer force. Once he landed on the ground, his wings disappeared and were replaced by blue scales and a large tail that he used to smash incoming zombies.

Takon arrived next and slammed into the ground crus.h.i.+ng zombies with his body. His claws and tail caused immense damage as he bulldozed his way through the zombies, making his way for the king.

Ava hovered in the air and covered for Ben and Takon, sending out her black flames and burning the zombies to a crisp.

Ben and Takon both were making their way towards the king zombie swiftly. Seeing this the king howled and sent his elites to stall them while he escaped. Ben released his lightning, and a small path opened up for a split second. In this split second Ben released Duke from his soul realm, giving him a clear shot at the king.

"Ava go help Duke! Takon and I will be fine!" Ben hollered as he continued to attack. The rain was starting to become heavy, causing the ground to turn to mud.

Ben and Takon continued to ma.s.sacre the mutant zombies as Ava and Duke fought the king. Through the link, Ben could sense that Duke had used his skills and was trying to land the fatal blow while Ava was keeping the king from escaping.

Takon let out a loud roar and bathe a group of zombies in his icy white flames.

In the midst of fighting Ben heard a ding and an announcement flashed across his eyes.

[City 01 has killed the leader of the invasion. All partic.i.p.ants in the battle are gifted with +5 levels and a chance to awaken their Inherited Skill.]

[City 01 has defended against the invasion.]

[City 01 can now a.s.sist other cities.]

After the king zombie was killed, the zombies seemed to lose their will to fight and started to flee as the city's soldiers slaughtered them.

Soon there was no zombies left and the soldiers let out cheers of victory. As rain beat against Ben's face, he released a smile filled with relief. He walked over to Takon who was covered in blood and mud and hugged his head.

Takon was shocked but quickly nudged Ben's chest.

'We did master…' Takon said.

"Yes we did." Ben said in relief.

Ava and Duke soon arrived. Seeing Ben and Takon, Duke jumped in and nudged Ben with his nose. Ava stood their and scoffed at the three boys but Ben could feel a sliver of jealousy through the soul link. Ben smiled and released Duke and Takon before walking up to Ava and rubbed her head.

"Thank you mighty phoenix. You are irreplaceable." he said to her.

Ava did respond but some happiness leaked out.

Duke returned to his soul realm as Ben summoned his wings from his back and flew into the air while Takon and Ava followed him.

A crack of lightning shook the air, Ben looked up and saw the clouds were getting darker. Ben increased his speed towards the city.

The thunder was getting louder as he flew, causing his hair to stand on end. He also noticed that the lightning inside of his was starting to act weird, like it was trying to escape his control.

*CRACK!*

A huge bolt of lightning rang down from the sky and struck Ben but instead of him falling to the ground, he seemed to freeze in mid air.

It was then that Ben saw a message.
