Mr . Hansberry was about to smack Chamberlain when Lena s.h.i.+elded him . He fisted, "Move," his command was not heeded .

Lena acted like she didn't hear him, "Father, why are you mad at my husband?" She didn't understand why he was so angry . She didn't do anything immoral, neither did she commit a crime . They were already married, so it was acceptable . Why does he have to act this way .
