Ella's plan was simple; she would turn them into demons. I had honestly forgotten that she had the skill 'Taint'. With the skill she was able to turn anyone into a demon. I was worried about what would happen when a person got turned though. From past experience they would need a whole lot of energy for such a transformation and when Ella turned it took the whole town plus more for what happened.

But after thinking about it for a while I decided it would be fine. First off, the energy needed was to evolve both Ella, me and Rose. Secondly, they were at such a low level, they shouldn't need as much energy and finally what truly rea.s.sured me.

If they did go out of control I would be able to restrain them. They were all level 6. They Danger guild didn't want them too strong, just enough that they could carry heavy loads and keep up with their slow march. Being over 20 levels higher than them we would be able to restrain them if needed. I hoped it didn't come to that though.

I turned my spirit vision on as Ella walked up to the group, the information on how the skill worked was locked inside Ella's head. I still wasn't sure where the information was coming from, but she had such occurrences since she was born so I would leave it to her.

She walked up to Erica and pointed at her, motioning for her to move away from the group. Erica I would say is the strongest mentally out of the whole group and I think it was a good choice seeing what she had done so far, I could also resonate with the rage she had inside her.

Though I did wonder, maybe the species was matriarchal by nature. I had only ever seen one other Ruler cla.s.s infected and it was also female. It could be something like that. I had a sneaking suspicion though I would find out in the future.

Walking a short distance away from the group they moved over to where a pile of bodies were stacked. Rose had helped move a few over as it could be used once a person has evolved.

Once they were ready Ella stood in front of Erica, even though she was very strong of mind her body still s.h.i.+vered at the situation. Ella had a composed face as she stood towering over the girl. And then on the wind I heard the small whisper that escaped her lips.

"Taint."

*Boom*

A small puff of air was displaced in the area as Ella's aura blasted full out, I and Rose weren't affected but the kids off to the side went pale in an instant. Rose moved over to s.h.i.+eld them from what was happening while I watched.

Erica didn't seem to be affected in the eye of the storm as energy started to cascade down from the sky, but the armour she was wearing was instantly destroyed, leaving her naked before Ella. The wind kicked up and it reminded me of the time Ella evolved into a demon.

The energy pooled down from the sky into Ella's body and gave off a s.h.i.+mmering silver glow. Her silver hair glowed as well as her eyes as it slowly started to float upwards. The energy continued to pool in Ella's body compressing itself as her hair, that was floating, moved to constrict around Erica's body. It wrapped around her arms and legs and slowly picked the body up.

Erica closed her eyes in fright but the face soon relaxed. I watched as energy was being siphoned from Ella's body flowing through the hair into Erica's, I would guess that the energy was soothing as the terrified expression soon turned to joy.

A small red dot suddenly appeared from Ella's forehead and drifted away from her body. My eyes sharpened as I identified it as a drop of blood. There was an insane amount of energy in that one drop of blood and it had taken around 70% of all the energy that had been pooled in her body.

It floated slowly over to Erica's mouth as she watched on with glazed eyes. In the next second the blood went into her mouth and I could see it move from there to the center of the body. Once there the energy that was being produced by the hair got dragged to that central point.

As the energy was dragged Erica's body shook and her eyes opened as wide as they could. I watched as her hair started to turn a shade of silver just like Ella. It started at the roots and moved its way down, dying the once black hair s.h.i.+mmering silver.

Her mouth opened wide as if to scream something but no words came out. Her eye color that had been a bright blue stated to flicker, it was not long before it became a dull gray and then turned black. After a few second though, just like the hair, the color came back vibrant silver.

The energy from the sky stopped coming down and the rest that was in Ella's boy spread throughout Erica's. Her body shook once again still giving off that otherworldly s.h.i.+mmer and her skin turned a pale white. Her skin that had been slightly tanned from before had become porcelain white.

Her body that was slight malnourished and skinny filled out in an instant becoming lean and supply instantly ,going to a peak physical form for her age.

This used up the last of the energy that was being supplied and before long the hair started to slowly drift down. The glow dulled before completely disappearing and Ella let out a tired sigh. Her body wobbled weakly before tumbling towards the ground.

Seeing what was happening I rushed forwards and caught her body, this had taken quite a lot out of her. Looking at the energy left in her body, she would have to eat very soon to regain it. If she were to do this for all 5 of them I was sure that she would, like the 'sacrificial regeneration' skill, have to tap into our shared exp to gather the required energy.

Even with the energy that was cascading down from the sky she nearly used all the reserves in her body. The good thing was that the person she turned didn't go on a berserk murder spree.

I waved my hand and gave Erica A spare set of gear as I held onto Ella. Erica was looking down dumbly at her body which had changed so much; she gripped her hands once or twice as if to feel the power they now wielded.

Holding onto Ella I used a.n.a.lyze on her to see how much had changed.

She had revered back to level 1 and she was a monarch cla.s.s!

Now that she had changed I was able to see much more of her status, I had no clue what her stats were like before, but my connection to Ella must have allowed this to happen.

What shocked me the most though was how much she had retained from Ella. The skills she had obtained gave her room for an unlimited amount of growth. Each level she would gain enumerable buffs to her stats and it wouldn't be long before she would get to our level given enough time.

I definitely thought this had to be because of the t.i.tle. Such things as first turned, Progenitors chosen and Progenitors blood, must give her enormous benefits and keep the skills at such a higher level. Because if all demons turned where like this, making an over power army of followers wasn't a pipe dream.

Seeing that she kept the skill Taint we could have her turn the other children which would make them Empress, or emperor level Demons. If that is the case I would guess that the skills they would get would be a level lower than Ella's and not as over powered. I still couldn't read what the t.i.tles did for a person, but I did focus on the Demon's Hierarchy.

"Could you show me this skill."

I talked to Erica and asked her to show me the skill. She was disorientated from what just happened but quickly fiddled around and showed me. Just like Ella she could flip her screen around for me to see.

(Demonic Hierarchy (Innate) – There is a strict hierarchy in your species. You cannot disobey orders from those with a higher position than you in the progeny. Cannot be leveled)

The skill was a little worrying but made sense. Being turned by Ella she would have to obey her orders, just in case something happened in the future. Maybe it was something encoded in Ella's blood that produced such a skill on the first person she turned.

I was sure that if Erica was to turn someone in the future, they wouldn't be able to hurt Erica or Ella that was even above her, keeping a strict order for all those that are turned in the future. Which I was sure would happen at some point.

The skill did have some other ramification but I could do nothing about it. Finished laying Ella down in a comfortable position I turned back to Erica that was observing her new body. She had placed on the gear I gave her by now. If it wasn't for the different facial features she looked exactly like Ella. Her hair had even grown past her shoulders when she changed, not as long as Ella's hair though.

I walked up to her and explained what was going to happen next. I didn't think it was a good idea for Ella to turn anyone else at this point in time and instead it should be done by her. She didn't even think about it and instantly agreed with me, there was a light of veneration in her eyes as she looked at me.

I just shook it off and soon all the kids were turned by Erica. She first started off with the other girl before moving onto the boys. Unlike Ella she didn't have as much energy sapped from her when she changed them.

There was no energy produced from the sky or other phenomenon just the same hair floating upwards and blood produced from the body. She was able to turn the rest of them with no troubles.

Of course I looked at their statuses and saw they all reverted back to level 1. Unfortunately unlike what I predicted they had kept most of the skills. They kept the const.i.tution, demonic kiss; taint, demonic regeneration and all got the Empress or Emperor Skill. Though they didn't keep the affinity for fire or danger perception, they had potential for unlimited growth it was just slightly lower than Erica's

They also didn't get the t.i.tles she had, but they all shared one t.i.tle, 'Ella's Progeny'. This t.i.tle denoted they were a part of Ella's demon family and when the hierarchy skill kicked in it would only apply to them, and not some other demons. I couldn't be sure that there weren't more demons out there.

Having everyone turned, their hunger overtook them and they went to eat/absorb the bodies around. They put on faces of disgust as the urge took them, but I said nothing. They would have to get used to it at some point. Just like I had to.

I went back to Ella who Rose was looking after and sat down next to them. I patted her head and infused some energy into her. She needed it until we could find something later.

Our journey had just begun.
