Alexander said nothing but stared at the ground and the surrounding.
He smiled and as he struggled to speak; the thoughts swirling in his mind couldn't get phrased accordingly. So, he kept quiet and glanced at Lord Gerard.
"We must get going." what he spoke contradicted his facial expressions.
"Sure. I have to take you somewhere else," Gerard put aside his urge to narrate the whole meeting story of Randolph and Rowena but for now, the place they were going to, held more importance.
Alexander exactly knew where they were going. He maintained his calm and followed Gerard. According to what Julius had described his confrontation with Mathew, the place had fit the descriptions. To confirm what he had heard earlier from Julius,
"What is this place called?" Alexander scanned the whole place. The whole place was filled with small white houses enough for a family of four to fit in each house.
"Servant quarters," Gerard spoke casually and started moving towards the sculpture garden.
"Alexander, you see this is a great place. I love to come here for a walk when I'm tired of seeing all those files. Haha."
Alexander listened to what Gerard spoke precisely.
"But, my walk is restricted to this place only because what lies beyond this place is something I don't prefer to see. I keep in mind to keep the garden clean as I have constant guests who love to take a tour of this place." Gerard kept moving and occasionally glanced at Alexander and slowed down his pace to meet up with Alexander's.

"What lies beyond this place?" Alexander could spot a white house far away from where they were.
"You'll know. Just come along." Gerard had only a day in his hands to get things cleared and reopen all the secrets which were locked hundreds of years back.
As they walked, the white house was just hundred meters away from them. They soon reached the gate of the house. Gerard looked at Alexander.
"This is the place you were talking about?" Alexander scanned the whole place and tried to remember every single detail.
"We are meeting David." Gerard spurted the words out.
Alexander's sharp gaze didn't miss a man standing in front of the gla.s.s window. Turning to his left,
"Are you sure about this?" he spoke. As he turned again to look at the window, the man was already gone.
"Yes, I have waited enough. I can't hold it back anymore. I am trying my best to help you as much I can. My promise to your father needs to be now fulfilled."
"Don't worry, all his powers are seized and he is now incapable of doing anything." he a.s.sured Alexander by patting his shoulder.
"Let's go." Alexander was growing impatient. His steps were longer than before. His long legs covered distance as long as they could. Entering the gate, they had to pa.s.s through two more gates. There were guards at each gate. Finally, they reached the main entrance of the house where they saw three white witches were standing in front of the gate.
"Greetings to the great kings." the man who stood in the middle wished them and the other two bowed to pay respects.
"How have you all been?" Gerard asked the man who wore a simple white robe, his long white hair cascaded down his back.
"Everything is under surveillance. Rest is a.s.sured." he spoke as his face broke into a gentle smile.
Alexander noticed that the main door wasn't an ordinary door. It had weird patterns and had no locks, key holes or handle.
How will everything will be okay if the door isn't okay? Alexander thought that there must be some magic involved.
Gerard walked towards the door, Alexander followed him from behind. Gerard placed his hands gently and started drawing circular patterns. The door opened, both of them got inside whereas the three guards remained standing outside.
"The door can only be opened by you, right?" Alexander stated what he observed.
"Yes, no one can open the door but me. Precautionary measures you see." Gerard spoke as he walked towards the wooden stairway.
"How good to see the great king here. Oh, I see a guest as well. My honor to meet the great king, Lord Alexander." suddenly they heard a voice out of nowhere.
