Chapter 11 Hey! I Will Feed You, Stupid Girl!

On the last day before the start of a new term, Ji Xiaotiao decided to make a good lunch to comfort the young man in order to repay his "life-saving mercy.”

She cut it! Diced it! Cut it into slices! Into shreds! Strips! Blocks! Segments!

Hhha! Look at her "Xiaoji flying knife" technique! Unrivaled in knife work,  Dugu for defeat. . .

Xu Moqi stood at the kitchen door, looking at the girl who was crazily cutting up lunch, and felt a terrible headache come on.

Yesterday, he’d showed kindness and helped her with math and physics. Then the silly girl began to get excessive. He didn't know which nerve was wrong. He couldn’t see her pitiful red nose. After all was said and done, he’d completed all of her winter vacation homework himself—every last bit of it.

Ah. . .  Now he stood at the door and looked at her happy way of cutting vegetables. It was very interesting. d.a.m.n it! Was foolishness truly infectious?

"Uh? What are you doing standing at the door, Xu Moqi? Does it have anything to do with me?"

……

Ji Xiaotiao, who was busy cutting vegetables, saw Xu Moqi standing at the door and asked in a puzzled voice. She thought that the young man would tell her what to do. Who knew that Xu Moqi heard her talking and suddenly froze? He dropped a single word and turned away.

"Idiot!"

Eh? Why scold her again for no reason? Who did she provoke as she was cutting up food? She was truly baffled! Ji Xiaotiao waved the knife and angrily cut a cuc.u.mber into two pieces.

Xu Moqi looked at the table full of dishes and raised his eyebrows in surprise.

"What? Are you trying to make me poor, or do you want to gain weight?"

Ji Xiaotiao rolled her eyes. "I want to thank you for your help! Let me finish my last day of winter vacation happily!"

"Um. . . Yeah! You may be comfortable, but I'm not comfortable." Xu Moqi nodded, picked up his chopsticks, and began to pick up vegetables.

". . . What? How can you be uncomfortable? It took you only half an hour to finish all my winter vacation homework!" Ji Xiaotiao showed her wors.h.i.+pful eyes to Xu Moqi again. "Seriously. Though you have a bad mouth and a bad temper, sometimes you like to do things that make people feel confused. And you are also a, er . . . anyway! You’re really smart! You really are a genius who has won a trophy in a magazine!"

Ji Xiaotiao gave him a thumbs-up as her heart quickly raced. Oh my G.o.d! She’d almost said aloud what people didn't know about him. Fortunately, she’d managed to shut up fast. Otherwise, the dish would not be for eating, but for smas.h.i.+ng her.

Xu Moqi ate his meal, and he ignored the long monologue that’d just spilled out of her. This girl may have been silly, but her cooking skills were commendable. Finally, there's something to praise; if it wasn’t for this saving grace, she really would be a useless person after all.

"What do your parents do, silly girl? How can they be rest a.s.sured that you are working alone? Do they not give you living expenses?"

Ji Xiaotiao gnawed at the chicken wings, heard Xu Moqi's question, and naturally answered, "They divorced very early on, and now they have their own separate families. I have been living with my aunt's family since childhood. My aunt gave me the tuition fees for Yinghua. As for the cost of living, I want to earn it by myself. I don't want to ask for it from her anymore." Finally, she frowned and indignantly said, "You don't know, but the tuition fees for Yinghua are so expensive! What a n.o.ble college! If my aunt hadn't insisted, I would not have come to Yinghua to study!"

Ji Xiaotiao bit into the chicken wing to vent her anger. She did not notice that Xu Moqi's face changed after hearing her words.

He put down his chopsticks and looked up at her and her happy expression. His throat was blocked. He suddenly opened his mouth and said, "Girl! Let me feed you!"

Pooh. . .

A mouthful of soup erupted from Ji Xiaotiao’s lips; she grabbed her napkin, wiping her mouth with one hand and the table with the other. It was not easy to calm down a little before turning to Xu Moqi.

"You. . . What did you say just now?”

At this moment, Xu Moqi's eyebrows twitched. He was angry that he’d sympathized with the silly girl in front of him! He didn't know why he felt pity for her and how he could have said that!

Bang! The young man slapped the table and stood up, a tight frown of displeasure on his face.

"Idiot! How could there be a fool such as you in this world?" After saying that, he turned around and left. The door slammed and the young man began acting autistic, too.

Ji Xiaotiao blinked and looked innocent. What did she do? She just spouted a mouthful of soup. Was it necessary to be so angry? By the way, what had he just said? That he's going to feed her? She wasn’t a pet. Why would he feed her? It was really baffling.

She put down her chopsticks and grabbed a wing with her hands. With a happy face, she continued to eat. "Don't you know it's shameful to waste food? Don't you know that waste is a crime? If you don't eat it, I'll eat it myself. I’ve been working so hard to make things cozy for you, and you don't even appreciate it. I don't know why you got angry again," she muttered.
