olette had had enough of Rose’s bullying. She thought if she got a chance to tell someone, there may be a solution.
She hoped her meeting with Lionel would go thus:
If she managed to make it to Lionel’s room, ‘Please listen to my story.’
Or,
But she might get stopped and turned away by the knights and she would tell Rose, ‘I tried to go but I was stopped and turned away’
If she managed to get in to see Lionel, she would show him the underwear that she had been made to wear (Zuben: bad idea), and say, “Please give me your compa.s.sion,” as Rose asked her to. Lionel would either ask who or why she was doing this or ask her to get out.
It most likely would be, he would suspect her to be a honey trap spy for the enemy and she would be detained, but since she had no history of strange behaviour or wrong-doing, she would eventually be cleared. (Zuben: It don’t work like that. Rape and torture comes you mind, you innocent b.o.o.by). And she would tell interrogators that Rose made her do it.
If the scenario played out like that, Rose wouldn’t be able to bully her anymore. Though, the senior maids might get stricter, she would still have a peaceful life free from Rose.
It was decided; she would do this and take her chances. (Zuben: I suppose it is redundant to say this will not go as planned.)
The night fell. Colette put on the lovely baby doll and its matching panties, pulled on her socks and shoes and put on a cloak that covered her from neck to feet, and headed out.
If someone stopped her on the way, she would blame Rose.
But no one did. On her way to the Black Knight Barracks, she pa.s.sed many knights but no one challenged Colette as she walked closer to her goal.
Was it because she was walking with no hesitation? Or, was it a normal occurrence for ladies to come to the Barracks?
When she got to the Black Dragon barracks, a knight finally questioned her,
‘Excuse me? Who are you here to see? These dormitories are only for male knights.’
‘I would like to the Commander Lionel, please.’
‘The leader…?! Y-y-you would like to see the Commander?!’
Colette nodded.
‘I will guide you there,’
‘Thank you.’
She was taken to a set of doors that seemed to be located at the back of the building, the young knight knocked,
‘Commander, this is Ethan. I brought someone who would like to see you.’
‘Enter,’
They entered a stark room, devoid of much decoration. It was the rooms of the Commanders, so it served as a study and a living room. There was a door in the room that most probably led to his sleeping quarters.
Lionel sat at his desk, holding a doc.u.ment. He looked up at them expressionlessly, but there seemed to be suspicion in his eyes.
Even though she was reluctant to be here, she was relieved that she had been able to see him without challenge.
‘You may go,’ he told Ethan.
‘Yes,’ Ethan replied, and he promptly left without a hint of curiosity. They seemed well trained.
Colette was nervous and fearful as she looked into Lionel’s ocean blue eyes, but she steeled herself, took a deep breath and said,
‘I have a request of you, Commander Lionel.’
‘What’s your name?’
‘Colette Folk. My parents are traders, and I am an apprentice maid, at the moment.’
‘So Colette, what is your request?’ his voice was deep and low, and powerful.
Colette trembled as she took off the cloak and said, ‘Give me your compa.s.sion.’ (Zuben: you shouldn’t have led with that)
She began to rapidly think of what she what going to say. (Zuben: Shoulda thought quicker)
All the things that Rose had made her do thus far, this was the icing on the cake, and she couldn’t do it anymore.
She needed to appeal to Lionel for help.
His expression hadn’t changed…much. Suddenly, there was a fire in his eyes that looked like anger.
He rose from the chair and walked up to her. He was a like a panther stalking his prey; graceful and dangerous.
Colette waited for him to talk, to ask her what this was about, but he said nothing. (Zuben: Maybe you should be the one doing the talking)
Instead, he placed his large hand at the small of her back and led her to the other door. (Zuben: And you’re following him.)
Maybe, he wanted to hear what she had to say in his bedroom. (Zuben: Haha, yeah right. Dunce)
Despite that, Colette was reluctant to enter his private quarters, but the insistent hand on her back brooked no argument.
It was a simple room with a large bed, and bed side shelves and a wardrobe on top a deep red carpet that matched the drapes.
He gently but firmly pushed her to stand against the bed.
He drew closer and traced a finger from her shoulder down her arm,
‘Um…’
It hit her; he hadn’t heard what she had come to tell him. She started to speak in a flurry,
‘Hold on, please wait. I need to tell you something. Can we not-‘
‘This is what you asked for…’ he said huskily.
Yes, it was indeed what she’s asked but she hadn’t expected someone like him to agree to her blatant invitation. She was far from being a gorgeous woman with a delicate body. (Zuben: There would be someone out there who likes your style. He likes your ‘style’)
Colette attempted to curtail this situation that was rapidly getting away from her; she had to stop him,
‘Hold on, I am not…my senior is…’
Colette’s words were stopped with a kiss.
As he kissed her, he slowly pushed her down onto the bed.
The bed was hard against her back. Lionel kissed her, and ran his hands up and down her body, fondling all the soft parts.
She could not win against such strength…
It became a serious thing… (Zuben: Yes, yes, it has)
