Autumn Tale 7.1
Xia Liang went to wash her face after she got home before she remembering that somebody had asked her to send him a message. She took out her cell to report that she had safely returned home. Then she realized what she was doing after she had sent out the message. She stood in front of the sink and looked at the bright red face reflected in the mirror.
She was just walking up stairs. Why was he even worried that she would get lost going up a few flights of stairs. She puffed up her cheeks and tried to calm herself down. Then she stood there looking into the mirror and giggled.
At that moment, Lin Qian walked out of her room. She saw her roommate, standing in front of the sink, giggling amorously. Her first reaction was to step back and slam the door shut. She felt that she must have opened the door the wrong way and stepped into an alternate dimension……
When Lin Qian opened the door the second time and made sure that the giggling girl was truly her roommate and good friend. She silently twitched her mouth. On her way to the kitchen for some water, she walked behind Xia Liang and could not help picking on her, “Summer, is your spring coming?”
Xia Liang was startled. She turned around quickly and played dumb. “Ah?......”
Lin Qian rolled her eyes quietly and went into kitchen for some hot water. She sat down on the sofa after she came out of kitchen and set down the steaming hot cup on the coffee table. She spoke as if she was beginning an interrogation, “Come, sit down.”
Xia Liang walked over obediently.
Lin Qian crossed her arms across her chest. “Tell me. You said you were going to stay in the library till 9 or 10 PM. Why’d you come home so early?” Then she raised her chin and pointed at the clock on the wall. The clock displayed 7:45PM.
Xia Liang obediently told Lin Qian about how she met Song Qiyan at the library and that he took her out for dinner.
“Then?” Lin Qian asked her.
“Then……?” Xia Liang was confused.
Lin Qian could not help rolling her eyes again. “How can you be so naive?”
Xia Liang felt frustrated and innocent. “What did I do……”
Lin Qian’s slender finger poked Xia Liang’s head, “Idiot……I will guarantee you that Song s.h.i.+xiong absolutely likes you!”
“Ah?” Xia Liang stupefyingly looked at Lin Qian.
Ai……Wasn’t she the one who liked him first? She was not aware of it until today! She had fell for not only his unique voice, but also the person who had the same stubborn obsession for delicious food like her.
Lin Qian felt it impossible to communicate with Xia Liang at all. She annoyingly took her cup and went back to her room. It was too difficult to talk to a person with such low EQ. Song s.h.i.+xiong, Lin Qian thought, I can only help you up to this point. The rest is up to that little white bunny of yours to figure it out herself.
