Mu Mingtang kept repeating the name in her heart. The old palace servant said that the late Emperor and His Majesty were originally from Lin An. 

Many of the logistics were correct— the uncle who was a high-ranking official in the capital, the aunt, Madam Yin, who she had never met and Xie Xuanji’s brilliant cousin who died young.

The servant didn’t know what was wrong with Mu Mingtang, so she hurriedly called her in a low voice. Mu Mingtang’s mother in front noticed something was wrong and stopped the carriage to ask her daughter, “Tangtang, what’s happened to you?”

Mu Mingtang came back to her senses, put down the curtain and said, “I’m fine. I was just entranced by the small stalls on the road just now.”
