Fairy Tail Collapsing Stars Chapter 292
“It’s Master Makarov!”
“One of the Ten Wizard Saints, Makarov!”
“The master of the Fairy Tail guild, our esteemed senior!”
“The legendary ‘Giant’ Makarov of Ishgar’s magical world!”
When the guild masters in the room noticed Makarov, they all flocked toward him. Makarov held a significant position in the magical world of Fiore, and even in all of Ishgar!
Upon Makarov’s arrival, he instantly became the center of attention. Countless guild masters eagerly gathered around to greet and converse with him.
“Hehe, h.e.l.lo! h.e.l.lo! You are all still young, unlike this old man here…”
Makarov smiled as he greeted the guild masters surrounding him, his eyes reflecting a hint of helplessness. He didn’t feel troubled by the attention; rather, he was somewhat resigned to the fact that his charm always attracted numerous juniors.
“Sigh, no matter what, even as I age, I remain a das.h.i.+ng figure, easily becoming the center of attention!”
Makarov sighed inwardly, lamenting his handsome and heroic nature.
“Are you Ul?”
“Oh! One of the Ten Wizard Saints, Ul?”
“My goodness! Meeting you today, you truly are a beauty!”
“Would you be interested in joining our guild? If you come, I’ll immediately make you our guild master!”
“No, no, don’t listen to him. Their guild is on the brink of dissolution due to poor management. If you join our guild, we would have the strength to aim for the top spot in Fiore!”
As the guild masters discovered Ul, they immediately surrounded her, extending olive branches and trying to recruit her.
“Um, well…”
Ul frowned slightly. Honestly, she wasn’t very good at handling these guild masters.
“Idiots! Don’t try to poach members from my guild!”
“And don’t think having one or two Wizard Saints will shake Fairy Tail’s position as the number one guild in Fiore!”
“We, Fairy Tail, are invincible!”
Seeing some guild masters trying to recruit his guild members, Makarov jumped onto the banquet hall’s table and shouted at the guild masters, his voice laced with magical power. His golden magic vibrated through the hall of the Fiore guild masters’ gathering.
“Uh…”
With Makarov’s words, the guild masters took a step back, seemingly intimidated by his presence. However, some guild masters were unfazed.
“Hey, old Makarov! Don’t throw your weight around just because of your strength~”
A man wearing a cowboy hat approached Makarov with a cheerful smile.
“Haha, Goldmine…”
Makarov’s eyes lit up with excitement upon seeing the man.
The man was Goldmine, the master of Quatro Cerberus and one of Makarov’s old friends.
“You mentioned bringing some excellent young talents, right, Goldmine?”
“Show them to me. Let’s see if your so-called talents are as excellent as you claim!”
Makarov, standing on the table, looked down at Goldmine and spoke lightly.
“Haha…”
“Let me show you. Bacchus, come here~”
Goldmine laughed heartily and waved to someone at the buffet, who was eating and drinking.
“Huh?!”
The young man, stuffing his mouth with food and drinking heavily, responded to Goldmine’s call, putting down his food and walking towards Makarov drunkenly.
“Hahaha, wild~”
The young man, around seventeen or eighteen, walked to Goldmine’s side with a smile.
This young man, Bacchus, had just pa.s.sed the S-cla.s.s mage test of Quatro Cerberus this year and had a bright future.
“Oh? His magic power is on par with Kagura’s…”
“Haha, I didn’t expect you to have such a good seedling hidden, Goldmine.”
Makarov was momentarily taken aback upon seeing Bacchus.
Makarov could clearly sense that Bacchus’s magic power was on par with Kagura’s, making Bacchus a remarkable talent, even tempting for Makarov himself.
“Haha, not all good seedlings are in Fairy Tail.”
Goldmine laughed heartily at Makarov’s words.
“Good seedling? Do you call that a good seedling, Goldmine?”
“Let me show you what a real good seedling looks like!”
“Jura, come over…”
At that moment, an elderly woman with white hair and a short stature approached Goldmine and called out loudly.
“It’s...o...b.., master of Lamia Scale, Ooba Babasaama!”
Some guild masters recognized the old lady and immediately identified her.
“Master, please don’t speak like that! It makes us look domineering!”
“Everyone, please don’t mind our master’s words!”
A young man, appearing as a monk with a bald head and a mature demeanor, approached the old lady, gently advising her before bowing politely to the other guild masters.
“It’s Jura! Jura Neekis of Iron Rock!”
The guild masters were visibly shocked and excited to see Jura, a young monk who had quickly made a name for himself by eradicating several dark guilds. His strength was said to be unfathomable, with the potential to become a Wizard Saint.
“Everyone praises me too much. I still have a long way to go compared to Makarov and Ul.”
Jura smiled gently, though he modestly spoke of being overpraised, he had already started comparing himself to the Wizard Saints.
Jura was confident that within five years, he would reach the level of Makarov and Ul and earn the t.i.tle of Wizard Saint!
“This guy is impressive!”
Makarov stood on the table, sensing Jura’s powerful magic, and was momentarily stunned. Jura gave Makarov a similar feeling to Mirajane, though still a step behind Erza and Laxus.
As for reaching the level of himself and Ul, as Jura said, there was still a long way to go! But Jura was young, and Makarov believed it was only a matter of time before he reached the Wizard Saint’s level.
“Hehe, now you know what a good seedling looks like?”
Ooba smiled proudly, seeing Makarov’s stunned expression.
“Honestly, I didn’t expect other guilds to have such talents besides Fairy Tail…” Makarov stood on the table, frowning slightly before relaxing, “But it’s the compet.i.tion between guilds that makes things interesting! Having only one dominant guild would be boring.”
“Hey, you three~ don’t have all the fun by yourselves! How can you exclude the host at a time like this?”
“And speaking of good seedlings, you must mention our Blue Pegasus’s ace!”
At that moment, as Makarov, Goldmine, and Ooba were in a subtle confrontation, a coquettish voice rang out. A plump man in pink high heels and a long dress approached.
The person was none other than Bob, the master of Blue Pegasus.
Bob crossed his left arm in front, rested his right elbow on his left arm, and gently touched his right cheek with his right hand. With a feminine gesture, he smiled and joined the conversation.
“Oh?”
Goldmine, Makarov, and Ooba, who were in a three-way standoff, were momentarily taken aback by Bob’s sudden intrusion.
“Clap, clap~”
“Come out, Ichiya~”
As Bob clapped his hands, the Blue Pegasus mages, acting as servers, stopped their tasks and clapped in unison.
“Please welcome, Master Ichiya!”
“Please welcome, Master Ichiya!”
“Please welcome, Master Ichiya!!”
The Blue Pegasus hosts softly chanted the name of their guild’s ace, Ichiya.
“Oh my~ I can’t refuse you, Master~”
“But since it’s your request, I have to show up!”
As the guild masters marveled at the well-trained Blue Pegasus mages, a magnetic male voice echoed through the hall, captivating everyone.
Even without seeing the person, just hearing the voice made one think, “Ah! The owner of this voice must be handsome!”
Yes, the voice was that enchanting and pleasant…
“This is trouble…”
Evan, who had been standing quietly in the crowd, finally changed his expression upon hearing the magnetic voice.
Even when he saw Bacchus or Jura, Evan remained unfazed, as they were just promising talents in his eyes.
But Ichiya was different. To Evan, Ichiya was undoubtedly a dangerous person! The sense of danger Ichiya brought exceeded even that of Precht, the second master of Fairy Tail and the current master of the dark guild Grimoire Heart.
“Oh, my dear~ Master~”
“This rose is for you~”
Just as Evan was taken aback, a short man with orange hair and a white suit appeared before Bob. Kneeling, he gently kissed Bob’s hand and presented him with a blooming rose.
“Oh my~ You’re so charming, I can’t stand it~”
Bob’s face showed a hint of shyness, blinding many with his expression.
“No wonder you’re the master!”
The Blue Pegasus mages in the hall looked at Ichiya with admiration.
“Hehe, good evening, everyone. I am Ichiya Vandalay Kotobuki~”
After greeting Bob, Ichiya smiled and respectfully addressed the other guild masters.
“Uh…”
Evan, watching Ichiya’s gaze sweep over him, frowned and retreated to the back.
Though Ichiya was only in his early twenties, he gave off the vibe of a greasy middle-aged man in his forties or fifties, making people shudder.
At least Evan felt a chill, especially when he saw Ichiya kiss Bob’s hand, reaching the peak of discomfort and making Evan tremble slightly.
Globally, few people could make Evan feel this way. In
all of Ishgar, only the black dragon Acnologia, Ichiya, and perhaps Bob of Blue Pegasus could do so…
While Evan hid in a corner, unnoticed due to his less prominent reputation, he enjoyed the food at the buffet alone.
Meanwhile…
Makarov, Bob, Goldmine, and Ooba subtly confronted each other.
Ul, Ichiya, Bacchus, and Jura were drawn into the battle due to their guild masters.
“This beautiful lady, are you free this afternoon?”
Ichiya glanced at Bacchus and Jura, having no interest in men. But when he saw Ul, his eyes lit up, recognizing her beauty.
In an instant, Ichiya, with a speed almost like teleportation, appeared before Ul, holding her hand and inviting her with a smile.
“So disgusting…”
Ul admitted she wasn’t good at dealing with people like Ichiya, instinctively turning to Evan for help.
However, when she turned, she saw Evan enjoying himself alone at the buffet.
“Good luck, Ul~”
Evan raised his juice, mouthing encouragement.
“That b.a.s.t.a.r.d…”
Ul’s forehead veins bulged as she watched Evan enjoying himself, unable to tolerate it.
“Hey~ You guys started the banquet without waiting for us, the Phantom Lord!”
“You’re not giving us any respect!!”
Just as Evan distracted Ul to enjoy the buffet…
A powerful, sinister magic aura filled the room…
A man in a luxurious suit, with a hideous face, looking older than his thirty-something years, approached Makarov with his entourage.
“That’s Jose Porla, master of Phantom Lord!”
“And those behind him are Phantom Lord’s S-cla.s.s mages!”
The newcomers were none other than the newly appointed Wizard Saint Jose Porla and the S-cla.s.s mages he promoted to rival Fairy Tail.
