1051  The Landlord's House

When Rudy used his Supervision, he didn't find any sign of a living being. However, he saw a few bodies downstairs. Curious, he rushed down and saw the mutilated bodies of male and female fairies. The sight was so gruesome that Rudy had to turn his face away before burning it to ashes.

'What's the point of doing all this? What will they achieve?'

Rudy moved forward where he had seen a man sitting on the couch, but he couldn't sense any sign of him being alive. Still, Rudy cautiously strolled around the mansion and reached the room, which seemed to be a meeting hall of some sort.

There he saw the back of the man sitting on the couch and, upon walking to him, he saw a few gunshots on the man's chest.

'This… is not the landlord… who is this?' Rudy wondered.

The body was in a good condition, and the blood hadn't dried up. So Rudy naturally a.s.sumed that it must have happened within the last few hours.

Since Rudy couldn't detect any other bodies in the mansion, he followed the electric signals he was receiving, which led him to a room filled with screens. And in the center of it was a high-tech computer that shouldn't be part of the era.

As expected, the computer was protected by a strong pa.s.sword, matched with biometric scans, but Rudy easily broke through it within a minute.

Rudy saw the footage where the landlord and the dead man were fighting over something and then the landlord suddenly took out the gun and shot the other guy.

"Well, what am I supposed to do now? The landlord isn't here. I could wait for him to return, but I haven't got time. I don't know when he will return…"

Rudy let out a weary sigh and shook his head.

"All that for nothing…" he muttered and teleported out of the mansion.

He teleported to his room and fell asleep.

Meanwhile, in the landlord's mansion, the man who was shot suddenly began to move as his wounds healed. The bullets from his body gushed out with some blood and his wounds closed up, healing completely with no scars or traces of wounds.

"Haha! My regenerative powers have grown so much! Nothing can hurt me now! I am immortal!" The man celebrated and walked out of the room, laughing.

"Time to hunt more fairies!"

Although Rudy had remembered the deeds of the landlord, his memories about the encounter were still sealed and he wasn't aware who was the bad guy.

The next morning, Rudy woke up feeling fresh, and there was a smile on his face.

"I had a pleasant dream. I dreamt about meeting Angelica. I don't know where I met her, but she was the one who approached me. She even remembered everything and…" Rudy's smile suddenly vanished. "I don't know what happened after that. I truly want to meet Angelica as soon as possible. I think I can only progress if I meet Angelica. She was with me in the past Worldline and I had become so strong because of her."

Rudy went downstairs to see Rebecca preparing breakfast for Rudy.

"Mom, you didn't get to work today?" he asked as he pa.s.sed through the living room and moved to the washroom for his daily needs.

Once he came out, breakfast was on the table and Rebecca was patiently waiting for him.

"You took so long that I thought you went to take a bath," Rebecca commented.

"I was thinking of doing that, but then I recalled I didn't bring clothes with me," he responded with a chuckle.

However, the true reason was something else.

'I nutted just in case my super libido begins to act again. I will nut once more while taking a bath, and then in school. I will have to keep doing that every two hours. I can bring myself to find a new girl every day… or use the same girl to satisfy my l.u.s.t…'

The face of the girl from last night flashed before Rudy's eyes.

"Let's eat. I am getting late for work."

"Yeah."

While eating, Rudy asked, "You didn't answer my question, though. Did you wake up late or was your s.h.i.+ft late today?"

"I woke up late."

"Oh. Is everything good?"

"Yeah. I was simply sorting out the bills and then went to sleep. I didn't pay attention to time."

'I bet she was probably waiting for me…'

After eating breakfast, Rebecca left for her work and Rudy went to take a bath. To finish quicker, he took his phone with him.

About an hour later, Rudy was in the lecture at school. But his mind was somewhere else. 'I can't locate Paul! I was able to locate Lucy and her mother, but I can't find anything about Joe and Paul. I do know about Joe, but I don't think Paul is living with him. And obviously, he isn't living with Lucy and her mother or I would have known.'

Rudy was on the search for the bad guys. So far, the only bad guys he remembered were Paul and the Landlord. Although he felt uneasy for some reason, as though he had forgotten something important, he couldn't quite remember what.

TWITCH!

Rudy's ears twitched as he sensed multiple footsteps approaching the cla.s.s.

'By the sound, it looks like there are at least five people and the way they are walking seems…. Authoritative. Who would dare to walk in such a way in school? And more importantly… why the f.u.c.k are they interrupting Rize's cla.s.s?'

A few seconds later, five people in black suits walked into the cla.s.s and climbed onto the stage.

"Alright everyone! The cla.s.s is over! Time to leave!" one of them announced.

'Are they bad guys?' Rudy wondered. 'Nah, bad guys wouldn't ask to leave. They aren't carrying weapons either.'

"Excuse me? Who are you guys and why—" Before Rize could finish asking her question, one of them pushed Rize down the stage.
