Mayonaka Yoru had returned to the city with today's patrol and hunting team. They were dragging five Agilisaurus Dinosaurs with them as they entered the city gates. The guards at the gates welcomed them with smiles and some even joked around with the team how lucky they were that day to catch five Agilisaurus. It was quite hard to capture this type of dinosaur as they move faster than Beastman in their human form. They could barely catch one in their beast form though it would be a piece of cake for the beastman of feline type.

"Boss, you got quite a catch today. That is five. Not just the usual two Agilisaurus. Have you found them sleeping or something?" One of the gate guards said.

The boss of the patrol group said, "This is all thanks to our city guest, Mayonaka Yoru. He helped us restrain these guys so we are all able to capture them all. He said it was to train for his Mates.h.i.+p Trial tomorrow. He and his partner would be joining in!"

"Wow~ thought I heard about the rumors but you are indeed young yet powerful. Kid, do your best tomorrow. As long as you pa.s.sed the three trials you would be allowed to get a Ceremony blessed by the Beast G.o.d. You will receive the blessing of having a mate connected to your soul. It's one of a kind." The other guard said

They are too welcoming towards Yoru as not only he had treated them honestly but also helped them with hunting. He is a strong Beastman Wolf who is not only an ice wielder but also a warrior himself. What they didn't know is that the werewolf race is a warrior tribe. Hunting and fighting is something they do even as a cub.

Mayonaka Yoru asked, "There are three trials?"

"Hm? You didn't know. You are supposed to have a guide from the Great Elder."

"Well, I wanted to check the situation outside the city alone for information. The rest of my group must have met with the guide if there is one." Mayonaka Yoru said.

The Patrol Team's leader said, "They might be at the restaurant or at the cafe or maybe at the library. Let's complete the mission so you can go find them afterwards. By then you can go ahead and treat them to dinner after we finish the mission."

"Thanks, Boss." Mayonaka Yoru said and so he accompanied the patrol team at Dino Resto to complete the mission of gathering ingredients. All members of the Patrol Team can have free dinner with their family or friends only for today.

Mayonaka Yoru separated from the Patrol Team and guessed where his partner and younger siblings were. Since it was still before dinner, he guessed that he must be in the Library. Even though his wife loves to drink coffee, he loves to spend time reading more. The two of them like to spend the afternoon reading a book together.

As expected in the Library only his lover, Esther Dawn remains. He was surrounded by a book at the corner of the library quietly reading. He hugged him from behind. At first, Esther Dawn stiffened in shock but instantly calmed down when he smelled the familiar scent of winter flower camelia coming from the person who hugged him. Only one person in this world had this scent of flowers.

Esther Dawn said, "You're back. How is your investigation?"

"It went well. I saw those dinosaurs close up after joining the Patrol Team. Where are the others?" Mayonaka Yoru asked.

Esther Dawn replies, "Carnelian, felt tired reading and was bored so he brought the rest away to find some snacks." He pa.s.sed the encyclopedia of dinosaurs to his lover and said, "Read this. It should have covered common dinosaurs and uncommon ones."

"That's useful. Pudding, after helping them in the mission I got a reward to bring the family to a restaurant to eat dinner. It will only be effective in the evening today. Do you want to try dinosaur meat?" Mayonaka Yoru said.

Esther Dawn nods and said, "Our guides said it was delicious. It made me kind of interested in how it tasted. Let's go tonight with everyone."

"I will bring you guys over for dinner tonight." Mayonaka Yoru said and suddenly recalled about the information he got from the aborigines regarding the trial. "I've also asked around. They've said that the trial had three stages and it was done by the pair. The first two stages are easy. I only need to capture you a dinosaur while you have to cook it for us to eat. The last trial is a bit special. We are told to enter the Forest of Illusions and find each other."

He stole their abilities for himself and then killed them. If not for Uncle Luc escaping Asher Dawn and his ending would be the same as the other disciple of that evil man."

"He is disgusting and evil to the core. He not only killed his teacher but also his disciples? Is that even a human? No wonder he ended up becoming a devil in the end." Esther Dawn said.

That's why he is now called Conri Lycaon instead of Mayonaka Yue. It was only because he is his Fated Luna that Yoru even chose to lay down his weapon against humans all because of him.

Esther Dawn said, "I'm sorry. If not because of me you would have completed your revenge. But don't forget, I will always be on your side. I will help you kill Kenan Light who has now become a Devil."

Mayonaka Yoru hugs his love tightly in his embrace. After sacrificing everything for love, he now has someone to become his family and even someone who will help him achieve his goal in life. His Luna and his Love, he is thankfully that his destined one is someone like Esther Dawn. A lovely person who is not only intelligent but also quite powerful.

"Okay. I will be with you until the end, Este-chan."

The two were lovey-dovey even when the other children had returned. After learning about what Mayonaka Yoru had done, they were surprised that he had indeed gone out of the city and with the Patrol Hunting Team of the city.
