Jiang Wan and Ni Manman stood among the crowd.
Someone said, “Jiang Wan, go and persuade your older sister. Chen Miaoyi is already crying and begging her, but she still refuses to agree. Is she trying to push Chen Miaoyi into the grave?”

However, after listening to their chatter, Ni Manman said in frustration, “If it can’t be worked out, let Miaoyi accept the bet. She made her own decision, so she should bear the consequences. Otherwise, if she walks away, others will just think we’re sore losers.”
“To be honest, I feel embarra.s.sed watching her cry in front of Jiang Yu. People struggle to live their life, this is just quitting school. Why not just drop out? It’s so simple. Why do you still bother to seek Jiang Yu?”
