Chapter 1721: One More Move

Vale gritted his teeth, this was their chance, their only chance if they wanted to get into the top ten. Originally, one of them, Vale particularly, was guaranteed a top ten spot, while the others hoped to do exceedingly well against the Eighth stage Sovereigns. Since no one dared to challenge them, and given their popularity in the Faction, they didn't need to be accessed like others if they wanted to fight with people a stage higher than they were.

Vale's eyes turned bloodshot at the thought of the opportunity Grey was about to take away from him. Now it was personal, he had to win at all costs. Without hesitation, Vale spat out a mouthful of blood in the direction of his Elemental Warrior, while he himself seemed to start to swell. As he started to swell, his aura also started to increase. Everyone in the arena looked at the scene in shock. Most of those in top positions have heard of Vale's secret technique for increasing his strength, but the ordinary members of the Faction haven't gotten the chance to see it even though it was already widely famous in the Faction.

He opened his mouth, and spat out a black mist in the direction of the fusion orb which already had the Elemental Warrior which had been strengthened by Vale's blood, both Vale and his companion's domains as well.

Boom!

All attacks struck, causing a deafening noise, making the entire platform rock. The s.h.i.+eld created by the top experts shook vigorously, and even the s.p.a.ce in the Pyro World broke from the impact of their attacks.

Everyone watched this scene in shock, to be able to tear the s.p.a.ce in the Pyro World, one would need an attack power equivalent to someone who's around mid Ninth stage of the Sovereign Plane. Yet Grey and the duo before them, who were Seventh and Sixth stage Sovereigns respectively have been able to achieve such a feat.

The crowd sucked in their breaths as they waited to see the outcome of the fight. They felt there was no way Grey wouldn't be caught up in the attack range too since the explosion was quite large.

The Elder in charge of the battle looked at the rift in the sky, and just as he was about to make a move, he received a message from Lord Dante not to make any move. Looking at the rift, he noticed that it was showing signs of fixing itself which was a good sign. Although the trio's attack was able to create a rift, the attack power isn't enough to keep it open for an extended period, which would've been dangerous, especially to those who were close to it.

Most of the impact of the explosion was sucked away by the spatial tear, and the trio were left to deal with what was left. Grey's last attack, meteor descent, still had rocks covered with flames falling from the sky, aiming for the duo. Most of the rocks disappeared into the spatial rift, but there were still some left. Not just that, but the two fire snakes were still around.

The rift disappeared, taking away most of the chaos from the platform, giving those with cultivation stages lower than the Seventh stage of the Venerable Plane the chance to see what was happening inside the platform.

Grey's figure could be seen in a different location, and they could see signs of blood on his right arm. His top had signs of blood, but it was quickly evaporated from the top.

Grey struggled to catch his breath as he looked at the condition of his arm, before squinting his eyes to see how the other two fared. He didn't think they'd be better off, especially given the fact that they were already injured to begin with, and Grey had a better physical defensive prowess.

On the other side of the platform, another explosion rang out, along with a defiant roar from a young man. It was none other than Vale, he was the one who took the brunt of most of the impact of the attack. His companion is already seriously injured after Grey phased through his attack and struck him.

Boom! Bang!

Vale's body slammed into the ground, and those with sharp senses could hear the sound of bones breaking in his body even with the noise from the explosion.

Vale's body shook, but he still stood up, his eyes showed that he wasn't ready to give up yet. His previously bloated body has reduced once again, and his figure grew thinner than when the battle just started. It was as if he was suffering from a severe illness.

With blood dripping from multiple places on his body, Vale stood proudly, looking at Grey's condition, he laughed.

"What else can you do to me, outsider? Hahaha!"

Seeing that Grey was gasping for air, he knew that the impact of the attack had most likely rocked Grey's internal organs. As long as Grey is already injured from this attack, then he was sure that they would win.

"Let's end this." Vale turned to his companion, his gaze bloodshot, "We're using that move." Vale's companion's expression changed when he heard this, "He won't be able to survive it." "Did he stop to think if we'd survive his? Prepare yourself." Vale scolded his companion when he noticed his hesitance.

The young man dropped his head and took a glance at Grey who was catching his breath, he gritted his teeth and nodded. He weaved a couple of hand seals, and so did Vale. The duo moved in sync, and a powerful bird appeared before them. This was going to be their final move in this battle, this move will make them the winners.

After the previous explosion, Vale's Elemental Warrior was destroyed. Now he wasn't just forcing it back, but he was forcefully trying to increase its strength with the aid of his companion. This isn't the first time they were using this technique, however, it was the first time he was attempting it after his Elemental Warrior had previously been destroyed from a powerful attack.

Grey stood on the platform carefreely, he looked at the bird as it grew before and casually said, a little surprised, "Oh, they have something else in store."
