Chapter 263 - Qin Gengxin Found Jiang Ruolan I
Jiang Ruolan covered her stomach with her hand and vomited loudly. She took the bottle of mineral water that had been handed to her and looked back. In a dark area where street lights were out of reach, Jiang Yijun's face looks a little cold under the speckled night sky.
"Did you go for a drink?" His voices were neither warm nor cold.
This was F City where Jiang Yijun knew the ins and outs very well, so it was not surprising if he could find her easily. Jiang Ruolan took a sip of water, rinsed her mouth, and then spat it out. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand as she said in a low voice, "How long have you been looking for me?"
"I just got here today." Jiang Yijun looked at her without expression.
"To be able to guess where I am in just a few days, you are indeed my brother." Jiang Ruolan laughed to herself. Her head ached from alcohol, and she staggered towards the corridor.
Jiang Yijun just silently followed her from behind. He helped her walk to the door. As soon as they entered the house, Jiang Ruolan went straight to the bathroom to wash her face.
When she came out of the bathroom, she saw Jiang Yijun sitting on the couch in the living room without saying a word. Jiang Ruolan stopped for a moment, then walked slowly towards him.
"I thought you would scold me as soon as you met me. Looks like I was overthinking it." Jiang Ruolan casually took a bottle of cola and handed it to him. Jiang Yijun just took it but did not drink it. He put the bottle on the tea table.
"Jiang Ruolan, have you cried for him?" he asked.
"It's none of your business."
"I was very curious. That day at the hotel, when you hit Miss Zhou until now, how can you still able to maintain your composure? If you say that not a single tear falls from your eyes, I will really have a new level of respect for you."
Jiang Ruolan had cried, but only in the cab. Since she arrived here, she had taken good care of herself, as if nothing had happened. For the past few days, she had been almost numb.
Jiang Ruolan raised her hand and casually waved it. "Enough with that. It's been over a week, and you still want to open my wound? You must want me to lean on your shoulder and cry, right?"
Jiang Ruolan pulled a chair over to sit down. She put her legs on top of the chair and hugged it. "Jiang Yijun, if you feel sorry for me, you should know what can be said now, and what can not be said. Would you feel happy if I cried?"
Jiang Yijun sighed and opened the bottle of cola. After taking a sip, he frowned and walked towards Jiang Ruolan, pulling her off the chair and hugging her. While she was stunned, he held her tightly in his embrace.
He didn't say anything, only calmly and forcefully hugging her.
Jiang Ruolan wanted to struggle, she didn't need everyone's sympathy. Even if they weren't related by blood, Jiang Yijun was still her little brother. He always was, but … Could she still be able to treat Jiang Yijun's pure comfort and warmth from the point of view of a close relative? Although she didn't need any comfort, she should at least appreciate it, right?
Jiang Ruolan's head hurt a lot and after all these years, she was already used to feeling tired and numb. When she was sad, as long as Jiang Yijun was around, she would never complain no matter how tired she was. Now, perhaps only Jiang Yijun could make her let go of everything and quietly accept this comfort.
"What have you been doing in H City for the past week?" Jiang Ruolan suddenly remembered that Jiang Yijun was not really familiar with that city, so why did he stay there for so long?
Jiang Yijun didn't say anything, only hugging her tighter. "It's nothing. Everything is the same as before. Returning to the original point is better for everyone."
There was no time to consider the meaning of his words. To Jiang Ruolan, there were many things that she couldn't go back to. That's right, it was great to be back at the starting point.

"Little Jiang, there will be a press conference for the release of a new alb.u.m at the Shangri-La Hotel in a few days. Don't forget to take a picture and write the headlines." Jiang Ruolan was given a new task by the chief editor of the entertainment division.
Right now, her job was similar to Xiong Ruogang's at Fengyu Media. She was a temporary intern and an editor's a.s.sistant. Although her new job was not as great as her old job, this was already very satisfying for her. Jiang Ruolan thanked the editor and resumed her work.
Jiang Ruolan opened her new email inbox, which had also changed after she got a new job. She looked through several emails and found information on popular movies, TV and music.
Jiang Ruolan took a look and read the information regarding the new rising star 'Ren' seriously. To be honest, she usually didn't pay much attention to the entertainment media, because she felt that entertainment was too popular and was far from the business side that she liked. But now, there was no shortage of people in the Department of Commerce, and new people had naturally replaced the chief editor position after she left F City.
Jiang Ruolan naturally had no reason to steal anyone's jobs, so she could only start from the beginning. However, most of the people in this company were old friends of hers, so she was well taken care of.
Jiang Ruolan went through all the information about entertainment related to movies and everything else. Most of the news contained the same content, and the words also have been glorified. Everything had changed. Other than the fact that she was still working in a media company, other things were very foreign to her.
It was raining heavily. Jiang Ruolan took the umbrella and walked through the rain alone. When she saw a Land Rover drive past her, her thought suddenly drifted back to Xian Zihao. She knew that Xian Zihao spent most of his time in F City, where he often does his business here, but even though he was in this city, the media still couldn't track his whereabouts because Xian Zihao was often low-key.
What was he doing right now?
Perhaps he was standing in front of the window, looking at the iconic building in the middle of H City, still planning the bustling city's future.
That's why when Jiang Ruolan saw the similar Land Rover, she never really planned to look back nor did she try to find any traces of a familiar person in the crowd of people because she knew Xian Zihao wouldn't be here, looking for her.
Even if they lived in the same country and looked at the same blue sky, for a person with his status, as long as he signed the divorce agreement, they would never have the chance to meet again in this life.

Yi Meixiu, who was crying bitterly in her arms a few days ago, has fallen in love again after a few days. During the day, she called Jiang Ruolan, asking her to accompany her (Yi Meixiu) to the Karaoke center. She wanted Jiang Ruolan to meet her new boyfriend.
Jiang Ruolan agreed and then continued to bury her head with her works. She had an interview to do this afternoon. Since she started working, her day has been quite a bit busy. Jiang Ruolan hasn't had time to think about her wedding gossip that spread on the hidden forum.
Jiang Ruolan did not think that the news was still hotly debated, even though a few days had pa.s.sed. Since she had little free time, she casually browses the forum and reads the comments. Their comments were a bit strange, and the way they spoke, it was like they were the bride and the groom's acquaintance. Jiang Ruolan later discovered this news was still hotly debated because there's someone defending her.
This person kept defending her and feeling sorry for her. Jiang Ruolan looked back at the time of posting. It was three days ago at two in the morning.
Jiang Ruolan didn't know whether to cry or laugh. She knew the user very well.
'Stupid Xiong Ruogang, did you really not see that my seemingly carefree departure was actually not a failure?'
