I latch on to Blaze-Kun's and hug his cheek and raise my head up to see his reaction.
Blaze-kun come back to reality because of the surprise. He made the mistake of letting down his guard and because of it, stumbled backwards and tripped over the chair he was sitting on. It was a little rocky, but I didn't let go. Blaze-kun finally looks at me while sprawled on the ground in an uncomfortable looking position. That... looks like it's gonna bruise. Blaze-kun stares at me in bewilderment not knowing what to do or say.
"Were you surprised?" I look at his expression while smiling and giggling. He looks at me in a dazed manner. Hmm? Is he still surprised? Weren't soldiers supposed to have quick reflexes and be prepared for any situation? Maybe he's still a lower level soldier?
"Who..." Blaze-kun finally manages to say something. Wahhh, I'm loving the expression on this ikemen's face.
I release Blaze-Kun's cheek and levitate in front of him while he gets back up. "What, don't recognize me? I don't think I've changed that much?" I lie to keep watching his everchanging expressions and extend the play for just a little bit longer.
"I...I don't seem to recall meeting you before," he say with his usual stone-face and domineering aura.
Aww, and there goes my fun...or, "Hey, no need to put up the act with me."
"Act?" Blaze-kun's brows scrunch together. I was going to say he's ruining his beautiful face, but honestly... domineering Blaze-kun is pretty hot too...see what I did there? Hot. Blaze-kun....anyways.
An almost sinister smile creeps onto my mouth," You don't have to act in front of your favorite bonsai."
His eyes go wide, almost popping out of his socket, but soon returns to normal. He quickly aimed his sword at me," How do you know about that? Who sent you?"
Who sent me? How dare he a.s.sume I'm a spy! Or maybe the whole spy/a.s.sa.s.sin cases happen often. I mean, we know they exist, because Cold-kun is one. So I guess it makes sense for his first thought to be spying. I proceed to tell him things he's told me over our one-sided conversations, things only I would know. The longer I talk, the deeper the blush on Blaze-kun's face becomes, and the wide my smile becomes. By the end of proving myself, Blaze-kun's ears, neck, and face are shrouded in a deep pink. I wait for him to calm down.
