@@"Of course," Hypocrite cuts in," We're at war with others. What did you expect?" It seems like he's lost some of his "fakeness", as he's currently being very sarcastic.
I frown silently...I keep forgetting what kind of place we're in. It must be because I'm still not used to it...though, I don't think I'll ever be. I decide to change the topic,"How long have I been out? Where are we now?"
"We left the enclosure 3 days ago. We're not that far from the enclosure though, we decided to move at a slower pace to let you recover. Now that you're awake, Leopard can carry us there."
Before leaving the wall, I planned on flying the Manbun's base first. I though I could get there the fastest with my super speed. Now I realize how innocent my thought process was. Although I'm awake, can look around and talk, I still feel completely drained. It reminds me of the binge marathons I'd partic.i.p.ate in back in my old world. After finis.h.i.+ng, I would immediately conk out, but I don't have the luxury to do that here. I can only deal with the fact that I'll constantly feel like a zombie until we reach the main tree.
So, not only can I not zoom to the base, I doubt I can even walk more than a couple of steps. I tell Hypocrite and Leopard my current situation and they decide to carry me the whole way. I unwillingly agreed, knowing I'll probably be useless the entire trip.
Coming to agreement, Leopard turns back into his animal form. Hypocrite slides onto his back with me sitting in front. I try to grab some of the golden hairs on Leopard's back but my grip is too weak. The moment Leopard accelerates, the momentum pushes me back into Hypocrite's...um...well, groin area.
I'm not actually tall enough to reach his stomach while sitting down, so I ended up nestled between his legs the whole ride. Luckily, he didn't seem to mind as his expression didn't change.
