Inside the golden white walls of an enormous mansion. Walking in the pathway full of gla.s.s windows, the thick decorated walls, and the red carpet… Siola is being dragged by two of her maids while the head maid walks in front of them.

Flailing around trying to shook off the maids' herculean strength, Siola regretted all of her decision that led her to this state. "Ngrr, let me go! Sadrin, you b.i.t.c.h! Just wait, I'll make you—"

*Plash*

The head maid quickly turned around and slapped her in the face, Siola's eyes widened in disbelief and shocked that she would dare to slap her like that. Didn't she know who she is and what her ranks are?

Unfortunately for Siola, she does indeed aware of her ranks, which is why she 'dare' to do that to her. The head maid is like a second mother to the child that she raised. Sadrin has been working in the house for as long as she can remember.

When a child so frail came out of the mother's womb, she is the one who took care of all the things that the child needs. Sadrin is the first to know that the child she raised is a prodigy, no one in the family knows it… not until she reveals it by proving her growth to everyone.

And when the said child has grown to the point she'd swear at her without a thought, even the most doting parent would be tilted with a shattered heart.

Siola's anger hasn't dissipated, however, realizing that she just made a grave mistake, she can no longer see Sadrin in her eyes. Glancing down, she doesn't want to see the expression of what her second mother has.

The two maids looked to each other in awkwardness, they couldn't say or do anything. Deep down inside, they want to laugh at the miserable state their young mistress is in right now. But obviously, the two know that they can't do that with the tyrant standing in front of them.

They continued to walk again even with that heavy atmosphere in the air.

Soon after, they arrived in a room hiding behind a large and white double-door. A wide-open s.p.a.ce is revealed. The place is enormous and beautiful, however… it is empty. Nothing but a bed and a mirror with its comfy chair exist in this room.

The maids throw her inside and closed the room, leaving her alone with Sadrin. She only glanced at Siola as she fixed up her clothes.

Never been inside her room for a long time, she vaguely remembers it by now. However, even this isn't her room, one can definitely tell that something has changed.

'Hunh, I'm supposed to be rich… right? Is this all there is in my room, I was sure that… I at least own some dolls and stuff.'

Slowly, she walks around, trying to remember the vibe she has left.

How wide the room inside is like the decent-sized room of what normal people have but several times as much and being combined together. It can even be split by section.

There is a wooden wall separating the room in half, but there is nothing on the other side.

She went to the bed, gently grazing the mattress. Siola felt a sense of her past life coming back to her again. She went to sit to the chair beside it, looking inside the mirror, staring at herself.

Something definitely happened when she looked at herself in there, she doesn't know why her chest tightened like the way it is now.

Sadrin step up to her and said, "By lord Hajaran's order, your belongings have all been removed from this house, young miss."

"…" she thought to herself, 'So grandpa did this, huh. No wonder this throbbing pain keeps pounding. Even with all the experience that I have before, now that I come back… I still retain all the grieves and the weaknesses that I had which has been long gone.'

She knows that she won't be able to get it back, but she can't help but ask, "Where did you take them?"

"I cannot say."

As she clenches her fist, many thoughts run through her mind, they're all saying that they want her to blow up and force them to give what hers back to her hands again. However, she knows full well, there is nothing that can be done about this.

Something truly a miss. She felt devastated just because her belongings have been taken away from her. The said belongings that have been forgotten for over 4 years. It's like someone put a hole in her chest. The body she has right now is not truly the same body she has 4 years from now on, it is still the immature body... that she has in the past, the pure body she neglected.

Gritting her teeth in anger, she held her jaw down to suppress it.

"L-Leave…"

Sadrin gripped her skirt tightly, she bows as she closed her eyes and then left her alone.

Several images of the past, back when she was 14 years old, come back to her. The image shows Siola being a troublemaker child, buying many dolls around, and yet the people around her, including her grandfather Hajaran... does not show any emotion of anger. In fact, it's the opposite.

Martin, Linda, Yuri, Sadrin, and Hajaran... they all have a wide smile on their faces and Siola's is even brighter while she mounted her grandfather's shoulder.

Tears shed from her eyes. She has left everything behind. The Mithra's name, her family, her dolls and belongings, everything.

And now... it's all coming back to her again.

With a repeated cycle of memories keep coming back again and again inside her mind, and unlike before, where she tried to hold them out… she let them all in.

Several days have pa.s.sed.

She locked herself from the world and never comes out. Each and every day, only the head maid went to visit her. Her eyes are lifeless, it felt as if she doesn't want to live anymore.

Each and every single day, the head maid took care of her herself. She cleaned her, fed her, spent the silent day with her. Sadrin did whatever she can to bring her back, but her motherly love isn't enough for her.

This aligned perfectly with her grandfather scheme, he wants it to be this way. With Siola is now gone from the trace of society, he wants to take this chance to 'reformed' her to the better.

He's already working on the plan for it.

Siola's mother, Yuri, confronted her father who is now taking a biscuit in his mouth. She asked, "Father, wouldn't it be better if we teach her ourselves? At least, let me go and see her."

"This again, my decision is final. If I let her be with you, she would turn from the trash of society to the trash of a human being. She can't even bath on her own, coming here smelling like sweat. Even Lind didn't caress her properly, what made you think I'd let you?"

Yuri is heavily insulted by her own father making a comparison with Linda. Siola is her child, not her. It is only the circ.u.mstances of the times that played out that everything turned out wrong. Yuri believes that, but not everyone else.

"But the idea of getting an outsider to teach our child is… it's nonsensical, father."

"How is it not sensical. None of you has raised her well enough. Only saw Sadrin that truly cares about her livelihood, none of you ever think the way she did and produce an actual result. Step out of this, she's not your only child, she is a Mithra, and she HAS to act like one."

Yuri started to stutter, "But what if the outsider poorly teaches her? What if she or he, teach her something that, that would result in—"

"Worries not. Her teacher… well, teachers, are from a reputable source with 40 years' experience. Teaching problematic children worse than her all across the three sectors. I heard they also had offers in the capital. I'm sure they will do their job well enough, or at least… better than any of you."

As she clenches her fist, tight searing pain throbbing in her heart. She let her child be raised to another person, and then let her sister doted the said child, and now… she's about to bond with another one and this time… she can't even meet her.

With trembling lips, she asked, "And who are these great teachers you want to bring, father?"

He glanced, "None of which for you to be concern about. Just mind your own business like the usual and let them do their work. Don't mess this up."

There is absolutely nothing she can do except to wait for them to come. Maybe she can reason with them later on and convince them to let her see her child.
