Chapter 8: This Is Different

'It's cold, really cold. Why I am feeling uncomfortable right now. I can't see anything. It's like I'm living and standing in the darkness.' Liberaine is not feeling good at the moment, she felt that there is something scorching around her body. When the cold breeze touched her, it felt like her skin was being burned. 'What is this?'

Liberaine wanted to see the present situation but all she can see is darkness. "Emmpp" She pursed her lips and growled. 'Is this the feeling of being reborn? Don't tell me I'm in the womb... if it feels like this... OMG'

While regretting she remembered what happened in the white room.

The apprentice man's palm touched her head and closed his eyes. After that, his body fell to the ground and before Liberaine could help him and asked him what was wrong she felt dizzy again and pa.s.sed out. That feeling is so surreal and distorted.

"■■■, ■■■■ ■■■■ ■■■'■." Hmmm?? someone's talking. Is it my mother talking to me? But that voice is not feminine. Is it father? I can't understand a word though. Her body felt numb and wanted to vomit now.

"Uurrpppp." Liberaine growled. Huh? I can talk?

While she was thinking, a forced hit her chest "Urrgh", An unidentified thing hit her.

'What's that?'

"■■■■■ ■■■■ ■■■■■■ ■■■■■■", That voice again. "■■■ ■■■■■", This time Liberaine heard the voice clearly and the sound of movement, "■■■■■"

"Urghmp." This time the unidentified thing just hit Liberaine's head, and it felt like a hand.... a hand?

"Bleerggghhh." Liberaine half-opened her eyes after vomiting but didn't clearly see what is happening because it is blurred. The skin around her eyes hurt so much.

When Liberaine tried to fully open both her eyes to see a thing, she successfully got a glimpse of it.

He is holding a paddle in his right hand and his figure is really fat. This confirmed her ridiculous idea, this is not being reborn at all.

Liberaine cannot move her head to look at herself and long numbed because of injuries. Liberaine can't even move an inch. This feeling is... 'I hate this feeling'.

Liberaine is really angry about what's happening right now. Hate surged her heart in the figure in front of her as the feeling of numbness appeared in her whole body. But being angry when she is powerless could do nothing at all.

Liberaine gritted her teeth, 'This is the feeling that I hate the most. The feeling of being weak'.

Her consciousness is fading. She cursed in her mind, 'You apprentice man, this is different from what we talked about. Hateful!'

Although she pa.s.sed out, she could still feel her surroundings. It's like her body is tired but her mind is still working.

Liberaine sensed that someone carried her injured body and embraced her in that comfortable arms.

Her mind long stopped working and cannot sensed if it is night or day yet her brain could still heard the angelic voice beside her ear, "■■■■ ■■". But she still can't move a thing in her body.

As the time went by,In Liberaine's half-conscious state she noticed that this little voice always talked to her softly and whispered something.

That person too gave her a portion of food while she's asleep and treated her whole body covered in wounds day by day. Liberaine really wants to open her eyes to see the person and thank her/him for everything that she/he does.
