Returning to his seat with a calm look on his face, Qiu Xuegang used a sleight of hand to slip his phone into his pocket. He seated on his chair as the corners of his mouth curled upwards.

His cla.s.smate poked him, intending to get his attention, and proceeded to whisper as soon as he confirmed that he was listening. "Hey, did you get it?"

"Of course." Qiu Xuegang responded with confidence. He took out his phone and, with his fast hands, sent the image to the group chat. He didn't even need to look at the actual picture!

Soon enough, the phones of every student in the vicinity vibrated. Everyone smirked. There's another one for the alb.u.ms...

Their teacher took out her marker and wrote on the board with her back facing her students, making her oblivious to anything happening behind her.

One student took out their phone. Another followed, and another, and another, until everyone had their phones on their desk.

The image was blurred out. They tapped it, and a prompt appeared, asking if they wanted to use their mobile data to open the image.

Of course, they pressed yes.

The image started loading.

The whole cla.s.sroom was quiet, with only the sounds of a marker writing on a whiteboard being heard throughout.

'Yes, it loaded!' One student exclaimed in her mind, excited to see her teacher's haggard face again.

However, what she saw was something she did not antic.i.p.ate.

Multiple phones have loaded the image as well, and the respective students that owned those phones got dumbfounded.

Meanwhile, Qiu Xuegang waited for his cla.s.smates' reactions. He sat on his chair, satisfied.

'Ah, there...' His seatmate had just loaded the image on his phone, and he was about to tell him. However, as soon as his eyes caught sight of the face on his phone.

"Oh, so it's the picture I took, okay..." Upon hearing his seatmate's response, Qiu Xuegang calmly nodded his head. "...wait, what?!"

With every single student in the cla.s.sroom having the same reaction as this, they couldn't help but look at the back of their teacher who was still writing on the whiteboard.

Giving up, Zhou Zhenya could only look at her brother with wrinkled eyebrows. She then looked for one last second inside the bag, but the tools were nowhere to be seen.

"Hmm, are you looking for these?" Zhou Lei then lifted his other hand, revealing that he was holding something the whole time.

"This... yes!" Zhou Zhenya's eyes lit up as she saw the tools in her brother's hand. Her face was filled with yearning. The whole reason she went to her brother's school was because of these!

"Take them. Then go straight home, okay?" Zhou Lei graciously gave the tools back to his sister. Naturally, he knew of his sister's newfound addiction to fixing and polis.h.i.+ng the tiles and the walls in their house. The only thing he wondered about was how the tools ended up in his bag in the first place.

With this matter solved, Zhou Lei looked at the front of his cla.s.sroom.

"Miss Wen?" Zhou Lei recognized the woman in front immediately. "Wow, she looks beautiful."

Of course, Zhou Lei was unfazed by his teacher's new look, since he got himself a prettier sister. He was used to seeing such beauty since long ago.

Zhou Zhenya was in a pretty good mood. She had long prepared herself for his brother's scolding if she were to be caught by him. In the end, she still got caught, but there were no scoldings that happened.

She turned around as soon as she heard her brother. "Hmm?"

"Did you... apply makeup to anyone here?" With a curious but hesitant tone, Zhou Lei asked his sister.

Looking back at Wen Hui who had her eyes closed, Zhou Lei finally understood why all of his cla.s.smates had gone silent all of a sudden.

He had accidentally brought his sister's tools to school, which made her follow him. After that, she ran into Wen Hui, who she then applied makeup to. Wen Hui went into the room, silencing his noisy cla.s.smates, while his sister sneaked in to retrieve her tools.
