Hearing the prevalent tone of confidence present in the little girl's voice, Wen Huo couldn't help but be worried. There is approximately a 50% chance that the girl actually did a pa.s.sable job, maybe even good...

Wen Hui didn't want either of these. What she wanted was for the girl to have done an absolutely horrible job, rendering Zhou Lei speechless.

Contrary to her expectations, however, the sight in the mirror shocked her. Her eyes widened as she took deep breaths. Raising two of her fingers on the level of her head, she pinched her own cheek, sending a sense of pain to her brain. She did so to confirm that she wasn't dreaming.

After much time has pa.s.sed, Zhou Zhenya broke the silence with a playful question. "So? How did I do?" She spoke as a smirk appeared on her face.

"Th- this... Is this me?" Wen Hui's eyes were filled with as much incredulity as when Zhou Zhenya saw the giant stool in the gymnasium: they simply could not believe it!

What was the sight before her? The makeup was undetectable, meaning that her face looked as natural as if she had never applied makeup at all! Not only that, her face looked a million times more charming than before! How could such a girl of this age be able to accomplish this? She must have an accomplice hiding somewhere...

Distracted by these thoughts, Wen Hui forgot about her initial plan to drive that scoundrel student of hers with fake horrible looks. Now, she was too pleased with the results that she couldn't wait to get out of the restroom and let everyone see her newfound beauty...!

"Ahh! Little lady, thank you...!" Wen Hui turned her whole body and looked at the small-bodied girl in front of her with awe in her eyes. This girl will surely reach greater heights than hers, just with those skills!

As time pa.s.sed, a bead of sweat formed on Wen Hui's forehead. This single bead started an onslaught, as more and more formed right after it. Wen Hui opened her eyes after a blink, and she saw the child before her looking at her with an innocent but proud face. As if curious, she also tilted her head and uttered a pondering interjection. "Hmm?"

An awkward silence followed.

It was plain to see that Wen Hui was getting increasingly nervous by the second, so she took action first before the young kid in front of her did.

"Ah... we're wasting time. Thanks for your help, see you later..." Wen Hui rushed out of the restroom, wanting to get out of this genius's vicinity. This didn't mean that she could stop her impulsive teachings. "...Ah! And don't forget to return those to whoever you borrowed it from."

After being reminded of that, Zhou Zhenya gathered the makeup and made her way towards the room where she suspected the teacher would be. She went down the stairs and ran across the quiet hallway.

"Ah, there it is." A door entered Zhou Zhenya's line of sight, and she knocked on it three times. A person inside walked towards the door and opened it.

It was a student from the cla.s.s. "h.e.l.lo?"

"Teach- oh. Is, umm, is your teacher here?" Zhou Zhenya asked with nervousness. Another stranger, ah! Why are you not be here, miss teacher?

"No, she's not... What do you need her for?" The student asked politely, seeing the young lady's attire. Although she looked young, she might be an executive or someone with a high position! Therefore, she dared not to look down on her.

"Umm, when she returns, please give these back to her..." Zhou Zhenya put the objects in her hand in close proximity of the student's face, her head pointed towards the floor. She did not want to make eye contact with strangers, especially this student who made her nervous with this studying gaze of his...

The student took this as an "I need to leave quickly, so take care of these things for me, you lowly being" and gathered all of the objects being handed to him around his two arms.

As the student did so, Zhou Zhenya ran from the room at a high speed, leaving only a handkerchief behind.

The student stared at her leaving figure with wide eyes before carrying all of the makeup back into the cla.s.sroom and putting them down on their teacher's table.

Wen Hui ascended the stairs again, only this time with much more confidence than before. The matter with Zhou was completely pushed at the back of her mind, as a new thought occupied it instead.

"What would my students think...?"

Even Wen Hui herself was quite incredulous at how she looked currently. Just imagining her students exaggerated reactions made her excited!

She smiled the rest of the way to her cla.s.sroom, even humming as she walked along.
